My friends's taxi driver had mentioned that this place was delicious so we decided to check it out on a Saturday evening to celebrate my friend's birthday. We didn't have a reservation but got seated right away (even though the restaurant was almost packed). Immediately, we noticed really attentive staff who pulled the chairs out for us and provided a stand to hold our bags.
The menu was in English, which was great as we were tourists who didn't speak Spanish. Everything looked so good, so we asked for some recommendations. We ordered several dishes to share amongst 3 people.
The seafood platter was so good!! There was a variety of everything (ceviche, shrimp, octopus, oysters) and everything was so fresh. Definitely recommend getting this dish if you come here with several people.
The lobster soup was also good, there was an option for it to come in a bread bowl but we opted for a normal bowl since we knew we were going to order a lot of food. Very thick and flavorful, I also recommend trying this dish.
The lobster dish (I don't remember it's exact name) wasn't my favorite. It was good, but I think the other dishes were more memorable. The lobster dish was really heavy and because it was topped with a few things, I wasn't focused on the lobster itself.
The grilled octopus was so good! It came with some grilled potatoes as well, but the flavor of the grilled octopus was so nice and refreshing! A bit citrusy and not overcooked.
Lastly, their cocktails were delicious. I got their pina colada and loved it. My friends liked their drinks too.
Since we were celebrating my friend's birthday, the staff had a mariachi sing for her with a complimentary dulce de leche cake and a sparkler candle. We had such an amazing experience at this place and definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area!!!
