Had the bacon scram. It was delicious. Long wait out the door. Once we ordered, we got the food quickly.

Google
Very cute bagel shop with a wide variety of options. The egg salad bagel and chive and garlic cream cheese were delicious. Friendly staff and good vibes.

If you're visiting Eureka/Arcata you have to stop by Los Bagels for breaky. Great selections of bagels and toppings, pastries, coffees, and other items to start your day. I especially love their salty side topping. I managed to stop by, both directions on my trip along the coast and will next time too!

Google
The day I went was a weekday and the wait was quite long. The bagels were just okay, the coffee was also just okay. I think you could get the same quality with store bought bagels honestly. They didn't explain the menu the best and seemed more annoyed because we had questions, but we had never been before so we didn't know how everything worked when ordering. We also had a larger group which made it a little difficult. I would try again next time we visit, but our experience wasn't the best.

Google
Phenomenal bagels, great people, super fair prices. You cannot go wrong at Los Bagels!

Love this place! Fresh food, awesome area and super cool vibe ☮️ The street picture is no longer accurate of the layout. They have converted the left side parking lot into outdoor seating. This really makes for an inviting place to chill if you are not sitting in the equally as inviting inside. Grabbed an everything bagel with creme cheese. Everything was fresh, simple and spectacular! For sure check this place out during a morning grind session. You'll love everything about it especially the staff.

Google
Cute spot, friendly staff, decent prices, but the bagels are TRASH. Purchased half a dozen bagels when they opened, assuming the bagels would be fresh, but they were stiff, hard, and very clearly old. Maybe they were just trying to get rid of their old bagels before the morning rush started, I don't know, but this is definitely NOT the place to go if you're looking for a decent bagel.

Google
Such a fun and unique spot. Their bagels were delicious and service was super friendly. Good coffee too!

Yelp
Cool place- the food is excellent, and the service and vibes are good too. They wouldn't accept such a short review- (their system made me type more words- really).

Yelp
No complaints here! The food, coffee, ambiance, service, and MERCH are all excellent. Food: The Farm Scram was made freshly on ordering and was presented piping hot and open-faced. It had a generous layer of cream cheese that wasn't overwhelming in portion size. Topped with crisp fresh onion, and ripe tomato. I also ordered a Chai Latte with Espresso and oat milk. It was presented beautifully with a design on top, and piping hot. Ambiance: Decorated wonderfully with art, cozy, vibrant. Music playing quietly, sounds of espresso machines steaming. Service: happy, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Quick to help and serve. Merch: Awesome merch - from stickers to handcrafted mugs and earrings. Tip: arrive early for parking and seating. They're busy busy for a reason!

Yelp
Easy counter service with a lovely variety of bagel sandwiches to order. A very easy breakfast hangout. My Grandpa Goren is the classic bagel, lox, capers and cream cheese. I had the cheddar jalapeño bagel and it was a nice addition for the jalapeño spice.

Yelp
One of my favorite bagels spots. I went to college at Cal Poly Humboldt and it was my first time visiting in 6 years and this was my first stop. The slug slime is a MUST, so much better than everything bagel seasoning in my opinion. Cucumbin on a slug is my favorite bagel. Service and ambiance is what you'd expect, nothing crazy. Order over the counter and pick a spot outside or in to enjoy your food.

Yelp
Amazing bagels! Just docked a star because it is a bit pricey for a bagel (adding cream cheese is $3.50!!). Bagels are fresh baked and I do love the larapin sauce with the veggie delight--what a unique flavor combo that works super well! Outdoor and indoor cozy seating in the middle of Arcata. Food was made quickly and the cashier was pleasant!

Yelp
Returned after many years, still kind, patient, & helpful customer service. We were make aware of the free fixing with each bagel. It was a cold morning so we opted for indoors. Being indoors made it feel like home, especially growing up in Los Angeles. The mural on the other hand threw me off, on one part it was wonderful to see the lovely people interacting with each other but on the other hand the people by the window were made to look sad, un-invited, and serious. I hope the mural doesn't drive people away!

Yelp
Great place to grab breakfast. Tried the Cucumbin on a slug bagel, Izzy's Guac and Lox on a garlic bagel, and a Marion berry pastry. Food tasted great and the service was friendly.

Yelp
Here's what you should know about Los Bagels: A) Private lot and street parking are available. Given the popularity of this place, it will be easier to find parking the earlier you get there. The might be times when you have to hunt for a spot, but their food, ambience and coffee are worth it. B) Guacamole & lox? Yes please. You will get an ample amount of very tasty guacamole on to of your lox. This combination is one that you won't often find at your local bagel shop, so be sure to get it here. C) They have solid service up front. There may be a line when you get there, but the staff keep it moving and are friendly as well. Place your order and they will call out your name when ready. D) Check out their baked goods of the day while you are there.

Yelp
Cucumbin on a slug? Yes, please! Multicultural with chorizo and egg? Yes, after adding some hot sauce. Bear claw, apricot rugelah, and cherry empanada? Also, yes. We also had lattes that were great. A must if you're in town!
google avatar

Jared T.

Yelp
The portions of salmon, cream cheese and guacamole were great! Food and service great as well!

Raduga N.

Yelp
Been coming here for like a decade. About 75% of the time my order is wrong. Recently realized that with their prices now two bagels with egg is around $20. For bagels. This isn't Manhattan. Three stars for ambiance?
google avatar

Greg K.

Yelp
A very vibey place in very vibey Arcata. I love that their roll shaped bagel is called a slug. Great chorizo on their b'fast burrito-and an awesome t-shirt selection :-)
google avatar

Yelp
I love going here everytime i visit. It has gotten expensive to eat here but the bagels are so worth it. Homemade bagels and cream cheese. Plus any fish you get is locally caught.it is all so incredibly good. Especially with the larrupin sauce. It is a must on the bagels with cream cheese. My husband's go to is lox with larrupin. So very yummy.

Yelp
Perfect place to get breakfast. The food is good, fresh, and filling! The people who work there are friendly and up beat, and the food comes out quickly! I went early on a Sunday morning and the line was a little long but totally worth the wait and there was plenty of places to sit and eat the amazing food!
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem of Arcata. Super tasty options and friendly staff. Street parking. Easily the best thing I've eaten my entire time in Arcata. Go. Now.

Yelp
Loved that the chai had the option between sweet, spicy, or mixed. I got a ham scram on a salt bagel and I wish I could eat it every day but I was visiting from out of town. People were nice and the inside was very cute.
google avatar

Juliette L.

Yelp
Was hoping for a better bagel experience with all the raving reviews. This location is super cute and colorful and a great place to sit and hangout for your morning. I ordered the egg and chorizo on an onion bagel and ended up being pretty disappointed unfortunately. The onions were completely burnt and I'm pretty sure it was 90% egg, 10% chorizo. There weren't any redeeming factors in the food unfortunately. I tried my friends lox bagel with goat cheese and capers and it was so salty we had to scrape off most of the goat cheese to not have to drink water after every bite.

Yelp
Dropped by on our way out of Humboldt county for a quick breakfast. The place was busy but the wait wasn't too bad. There are tables outside with a few inside if you want to stay around for a bit. Their day old bagels are a good deal if you wanted to grab a few for later. It is a self service spot, where you order at the front and find your own seat. Plus bus your own table.

Yelp
Great vibes and great food! A must stop for a visit to Arcata from out of town. I had the CASEY'S THAI and IZZY'S GUAC 'N LOX. Setting & Atmosphere - 9/10 Service & Staff - 8/10 Food - 8.5/10 OVERALL - 9/10
google avatar

Sophie A.

Yelp
I've been going here since I was a kid, definitely went downhill though. It used to be really cheap for a bagel and now it's pretty expensive and they just put tons of cream cheese on it to the point where I have to scrape it off, even when I ask for light cream cheese. Not sure if they do this so they can charge extra but every time I come to the Arcata los bagels only they do this, not any other locations. Other than that it's pretty good and the inside is cute and inviting.

Yelp
A fantastic indulgence on our vacation. Bagels with cream cheese (fresher style than Philadelphia block- tangier and whipped), coffee, and pastries. All were delicious! Will return.

Yelp
i was stoked to try this place before heading north on my trip -- went to order my standard (bagel with egg and cheese AND jalapeño cream cheese-- seriously try this if you haven't (just not from here)!!) only to find they were going to charge me $7 for the cream cheese???? this would have made it like a $15 breakfast sandwich?? LOL?? thought that was absurd and got an unamused face when i tried to clarify with the cashier. ultimately didn't get the creamcheese on it because $7 is absurd. it should've had gold leaf in it for that price. anyway unfortunately it was a grave mistake to not get the cream cheese, it would have saved the sandwich. the egg was super dry and had a weird texture to it, and the bagel was dry.. took two bites but couldn't eat it. went to the creperie a couple blocks away afterward and had a proper breakfast (that was delicious) advice to los bagels would be to up charge their other items (bagels, coffee) rather than upcharge the cream cheese an absurd amount. gonna toss the egg and grab some creamcheese to salvage the bagel.

Yelp
Excellent service and amazingly great food. Bagels +++++++ Opens at 7:00 am. Choose the bagel of your choice, but if looking for suggestions, May I recommend the multicultural bagel, known as "everything" or "the works" at other places.

Yelp
This was a nice bagel/breakfast spot. There is ample outdoor seating that is clean and spacious. The staff was friendly enough, but I could hardly hear the person at the register due to an extremely quiet demeanor, loud music and lack of eye contact. The bagels, on their own, are delicious. However, their in house creations could use a little finesse. The Thai bagel had entirely too much carrot and peanut butter and not enough jalapeno jelly. The Tomonion was dry and could have used a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper. We had to ask for Tajin to season it. The best of the bunch was the chorizo and egg scrambagel. The chorizo was very flavorful without all the grease.

Yelp
I want to say how much I appreciate the stellar customer service here - even when they are crazy busy. After a bad customer service experience at another local establishment I thought of how consistently positive, personable and welcoming pretty much everyone working here is. What a difference from the other place I went to this morning. Los Bagels is one of the busiest places in town, and they still welcome people in with a real effort to be, well, welcoming. Kudos. I've spent years in customer service and know what this takes. Plus, amazing coffee for those who didn't know - some of the better coffee in town. And obviously you have to try their bagels. Love you guys!

Joseph G.

Yelp
This place is a joke. If you are into spending 16 dollars on a dense low quality bagel with lox go for it. Bagel 1.50 ok that's reasonable. Wait the cream cheese is 3.50. Get a grip. Only good deal here is the day olds and buy your own spread at the store. I went to buy a bagel with lox and when I got to checkout they told me the price and I laughed in there face and walked out. I can go buy enough ingredients to do ten bagels for the price. I understand how restaurants work and that I'm not just paying for ingredients but this place takes It too far.

Jose V.

Yelp
Los Bagels is a consistent solid bagel place since I remembered. Comes up quickly and the food is always good. Located in old town, it's a favorite of many local people.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was pretty good but the food was overpriced & really not good. $40 for two bagels that we couldn't finish due to the off-putting flavors was really disappointing. The location/ambiance was beautiful tho & the guy that took our order was nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious and creative bagels, spreads and toppings. Good coffee, the best company and atmosphere! Hint.. add or buy the Larrupin and Slug Slime, always!
google avatar

Erica P.

Yelp
Food great- we thought the bagels were excellent and the cream cheese the star of the day. Prices steep-you can easily get very expensive, tho basic bagel and cream cheese reasonable, $8 for a few small pieces of bacon was annoying. Fantastic chai. Also we got a cookie that was the best bite of our trip-corn and lime.

Bethany D.

Yelp
Bagels are tasty! Not NY Bagels by any stretch of the imagination but they will do in a pinch.

Elena and ivan A.

Yelp
Wonderful gem in a beautiful town. Great ambience, service and of course the most delicious bagels.
google avatar

Rich S.

Yelp
One of the best bagel shops I've ever been to. I would go quite often if I lived nearby. I had a half guacamole, half blackberry jam on a slug, and it was fantastic. Add great coffee and a great ambiance and you've got a winning formula.
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
Scenario: You're back in your college town for a visit but you only have 48 hours to hit all your favorite spots. Los Bagels is, without a doubt, worthy of making that list! Their bagel was just as flavorful and tender as I remember, and they are still enormously generous with their cream cheese. There's nothing I hate more than having dry, cheeseless bagel bites, but that will literally never happen to you here. Add some larrupin and slug slime and you'll be staring at one perfect bagel. Great coffee and tea options too that you can savor and wash it all down with. Don't let an out-the-door line scare you, the staff moves quickly to get your order out!

Yelp
A must see place when I come to Arcata. We've been coming here for 35 years and it is always better than the last. My favorite is the Slug with Capers, cream cheese and red onion. But there are really too many to pick just one tasty bagel.

Bruce W.

Yelp
Great bagels and toppings in downtown Arcata. Had brunch after a long, early morning hike in the Redwoods. Great lox, cream cheese and capers on a delicious toasted bagel. The cappuccino was also excellent. Everyone in my group was very happy with their bagel and beverage orders. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Jake C.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic! They have the beast morning bagel breakfast sandwiches. So much flavor and unique combinations all made in house. I definitely recommend asking for some of their house hot sauce. It was so good I went back inside when I was done and bought a whole jar. I live about a days worth of driving away and I am half way through my current jar already and trying to figure out how to get more...

Dan S.

Yelp
Only two types of bagels offered. Bagel didn't taste fresh. Not the same as it used to be. Won't be coming back which is so unfortunate.

Yelp
UGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let Me Tell You! Never in my life have I ever been a big bagel fan. I would eat them because carbs. This place although is pricier than most bagel places DEFINITELY worth it. I decided to visit here with my boyfriend and he told me about this place and how it changed the bagel game for him. He was not wrong. I miss this place. There is not a bagel place like it down here, which is disappointing but always rewarding considering that I have something to look forward to when I drive up North. The cream cheese is something else I have never tasted such freshness in cream cheese in MY LIFE! It is like they put magical fairy dust in my bagel and transported me to another dimension. My boyfriend and I are extremely close to having a friend, ship us a bag of bagels and 2 pints of cream cheese. Maybe a loaf of bread. We have been craving Los Bagels, but the artistry of these bagels were worth the 1-2 hour wait we would have to wait to take our order. Once the order was made we would wait 5-10 mins max to receive the order. There is not much indoor seating but that is okay. They should start to expand *cough* *cough* Business Owners *cough* *cough*
google avatar

Ashley K.

Yelp
worth every bite! wish this place didn't close so early but if that's the only con I'll take it! haha seriously though.. nobody does bagels like these guys!! :)
google avatar

Greg H.

Yelp
Amazing! The hardest part is just trying to decide which of the incredible bagle combinations you want to get! This is a must-stop (multiple times) when we visit our CPH daughter.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Line was around the block by the time we got out! Yummy bagels, fun atmosphere, and friendly crew! Will be back for more!

Luca Z.

Yelp
Great food and a wide variety on the menu amazingly patient workers and very mice environment would suggest coming here in the morning
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
Thank you for the cool graffiti restroom. Bring the key or else someone may open by accident. Everything looked good. Bagels. But not only bagels! The staff were terrific. We had the gigantic beautiful salads. I had lox and the other was smoked salmon. I had some alfalfa sprouts. I thought i added "guac" for guacamole. This was the most wonderful salad I've had in a long time.
google avatar

Cedric C.

Yelp
Food: Ordered a chorizo and guacamole scramble on jalapeño cheddar bagel and haven't looked back. Honestly everything on their menu sounded amazing so I just ordered what my friend ordered and I can't say I was disappointed. While I'm no bagel purist or Mexican food enthusiast, I can subjectively say this was some really good breakfast food. Value: Whenever I leave NYC or SF, I always assume food will be more affordable. And while the prices here wouldn't deter me from coming back (give or take 10 for a dressed up bagel), I definitely couldn't make this an everyday treat. Experience: Like most of my experience between Portland and San Francisco, Arcata as a whole felt kinda quirky and this shop was no exception. Very much hometown feel (in the best way possible). But if you're looking for something a bit more authentic, I'd head a little further south (yes, I'm looking at you SF with your Mission burritos).
google avatar

Mel T.

Yelp
Quick work trip here and decided to check out Los Bagels because of all the good reviews! Cute shop in downtown Arcata with artsy paintings everywhere and the prettiest wildflowers. They have a lovely patio on the front and side where I was able to enjoy my delicious Cucumbin on a slug bagel! Slug bagels are their long, slug shaped bagels. The Cucumbin has cucumbers, cream cheese, their "slug slime" which is like an Everything Bagel seasoning and the sauce I could have gone without was the larrupin sauce which was greenish and honey mustard/Dijon based but that's just because I don't like mustard. The service was friendly, the food was good and I'd definitely come back because their prices are reasonable too!

David G.

Yelp
Great bagels! Try the "cucumbin" and add bacon to it. Amazing!! Also make a good chai latte.

Grave B.

Yelp
My wife ordered the Goren bagel, we shared it. Now, our trip back home is on pause while we recover from food poisoning. Thanks Los Bagels!

Yelp
The long line is a sign! Yummy, unique breakfast with the best bagels ever. Almost did not make the wait, but it was well worth it. Fun decor and style, good service and great food.
