I love the vibe and authentic atmosphere of this little eatery. Unfortunately we walked in on a busy Tuesday lunchtime and the chef was not in a good mood. Overall, a good meal for Jollife rice and maffa

This is my favorite restaurant in Tokyo. I come here with my friend and we love to talk with the owner. It’s a really lowkey place and I love it. The food is really good, I love the decoration and the plates. The music is always on point.

A wonderful find! I didn’t really know where to start with African food, but everything I tried was delicious and very reasonably priced! There was a large range of drinks (including lots of African options!) and our time there was an absolute delight! The place is quite small so we had to book in advance, but if you can get a seat then you need to go here. We will definitely be back!

I really wanted to like this restaurant, but they were cooking so much food with plastic wrap in the microwave. For example, one of the dishes was a rice dish, and they just placed a ball of rice into a sheet of plastic wrap, closed the wrap tightly not allowing steam to escape, and microwaved it for two minutes. After witnessing this lack of proper food treatment especially for old rice, I couldn’t even eat the dish. Also I saw them washing the plates and then wrapped every single clean plate with plastic wrap, which makes it seem like they must have some major cleanliness or bug issues in the tiny restaurant. It’s really not worth the price.

We came to this restaurant without thinking but quite surprised at it. What an amazing African restaurant. The food here were what I had never tasted. Everything here was an adventure for me. Service was so warm and kind. Owners spoke fluent English and had living in Africa. I believed this night that I explored Africa.

Absolutely fantastic food, some of the very best I’ve had here in Tokyo. The restaurant itself is small but cozy. Great service and kind staff. Good selection of vegetarian dishes. I highly (!!!) recommend this place – one of my favorite restaurants ever.

Vegan dinner set for two was wonderful and filling. It filled up with couples with reservations immediately and this was just a random Tuesday night, so if you want to dine here, you must call to make a reservation. I can't wait to go back.

Nice African and Arab restaurant. I tried their Vegan Mattza (assorted Lebanese-style vegetable side dishes, including falafel, carrot salad, marinated cabbage and hummus) with couscous for ¥1,100 and it tasted really good. The place has a nice atmosphere with African and Arab decoration. It’s not a very big place (they have like 7 seats at a counter), but it’s cozy and the owners are very nice and friendly. English menu available. You can pay by cash, card and other cashless options.
