Isidro and Irma were excellent hosts. The food was beyond fantastic, and the bar drinks made by Diego Were out of this world. The restaurant was recommended to us by friends and they were not wrong on how fabulous the presentation, decor and food is. If you come to Zihua and miss coming here. You have done yourself a disservice ! You will LOVE IT !!!

This is our favorite restaurant in Zihua. We’ve already eaten here twice this week. Hands down the best food and margaritas in town. Super friendly service and even the kitchen staff seemed to be happy and smiling even though they were very busy. The staff is very attentive and got our orders out in a timely manner every time we’ve been there. Highlights are basically anything you can find on the menu. You can’t miss. Just point at anything and the server will bring back a stunning dish for you to enjoy. The atmosphere is bright and can be a little loud but it makes it very joyful and all the patrons seemed as happy to be there as we were. After 7:30 the place tends to be very busy so think ahead. Not sure if they take reservations. A++

We have been coming here for over 30 years. Although the menu has evolved – we missed the fajitas that they used to specialize in – this is still hands-down one of the top places to eat at in Zihua. The breakfast is outstanding and probably the best burger in town. What I really love are the salsas they serve. Fresh and full of flavor. And if you ask for tortillas on the side, you’ll need to wait because they don’t make them until you order them so you’ll get them hot and fresh.

The first time we went here, the food and drinks were top notch! We fell in love with this Sangria, it was perfect! So we went back of course to have it again, sadly it seems to be ‘a one time kind of deal’ because we never got the same drink ever again 😔, we gave them 3 more chances besides the first time we got it, but it just got worse and worse, the fourth time, when we saw that the same waiter was gonna make it, we don’t even bother in ordering one. Sadly say but the food wasn’t as good as the first time we ate there. I don’t understand what happened.

Excellent! Some of the very food in Zihuatanejo. We had fish tacos and shrimp tacos. Also, guacamole.

The reason I gave I a low star is that they remolded and it took away the Mexican charm otherwise the food is good service slow at first.

Favorite trompo tacos!!! Owners and staff are amazing here.. so friendly and attentive and the food is incredible! We love sitting at the counter and watching the chefs work their magic...

Best Taco in Zhi/Ixtpa ....try the Pastor Taco...great bite in great ambiance and service....you will not be disappointed!

Fish and shrimp tacos were great, good to have for a quick stop if you're hungry, pretty good size too.

This place was amazing. We were walking by and decided to try this place. The service was spot on, the staff was professional and amazing. The food was even better. If you ever come to Zihua this is a must try.

Scouted this out over a year ago on Yelp. Didn't get in last year but so glad I did this trip. Popped in around 1:30 PM on a Friday. I had one fish taco and one shrimp taco, chips and salsa and 2 Modelos for about $12 US. The tacos were easily amongst the best I've ever had! I'll definitely be back before I leave town

Tacos! Baja-style fish and shrimp tacos that are on point! Great steak tacos! Tiny, delicious pastor tacos (cooked on a vertical rotisserie, no less) for about 75 cents each! Delicious, fresh guacamole! Bananas flambe with vanilla ice cream that was just the perfect way to finish dinner! And as great as all of that was, my absolute favorite part of the meal was the lemonade (I think that it's actually limeade), which is perfectly balanced in flavor, but also served with slushy lemonade inside of the glass. Do yourself a favor and order the lemonade!

Best tacos in town! Come every time we are visiting! 10 years + COVID is taken serious here, give hand sanitizer and temperature check at entrance + open air. Felt very safe!

The food wasnt horrible but the service was just ok and the fact that the food did not come out together was a big no-no.. waiter never came back during our meal to ask if we wanted more drinks and the chairs are like sitting on a rock. There are many better places to spend your money

These are the best Pastor tacos I've eaten here. I'm partial the ones in PV but these are as good, if not better. The tortillas are pressed and fresh. The guacamole is some of the best I've ever had as well, but the tacos are a must.

Some of the best tacos we've had in Mexico. Excellent al pastor. We ordered three and then ordered more and more. Everyone was very welcoming. Had a fun, lively atmosphere. Soccer game on and lots of families. Would definitely go back and try other things.

We have been to Zihua twice now and the first time we went here twice, on the second visit 3 times! You could say it is our favorite! It is more of a local spot than a tourist spot. No English spoken, no air conditioning. But what you will get is great inexpensive flavorful food! The street tacos pastor are our favorite..... for the equivalent of $1.25 US we got 5 tacos on this last trip - incredible and oh so good! The pastor is cooking right out at the front of the place so it is really tempting when you walk by. They also bring you chips and salsas too. We also got a meal one night called Alambre with chicken and shrimp, a little like a stir fry with onions and peppers. Very yummy too. The one thing I would not recommend here is the Sangria.... I love Sangria and I am not sure what this was, but it tasted like sprite and juice - very fizzy. I can't wait to go back just for this place!

By far the best shrimp tacos in town! Braseros was recommended to us last time we were here as having the best shrimp tacos and we definitely agree. Another must visit spot.

We had pastor at a few places. This is one of the best. Ice and salads and water purified and good for gringos.

Terrible fish tacos. We couldn't stomach them, and saw another table with a half eaten plate as well. Al pastor was just ok. Recommend you go elsewhere!

I have been coming to Zhia for 12 years. This is absolutely the best restaurant for fish tacos. The fish is lightly battered and fried and on a soft flour tortilla with a light coleslaw and topped with a few raisens. Impossible to describe, it is mind-boggling delicious. The lemonade's (limeade) among the best since they are blended. Definitely have one of those.
