Tasty special BURITTO AHOGADO and PAN DE ELOTE! The burrito is presented in a plate of sauce, which sour flavor makes the burrito skin softer and neutralizes the greasiness, a lovely balance! The waiter Miguel gave us welcoming and friendly hospitality and kindness. We didn’t have reservations but he gave us 1:15 hour to seat. We gladly finished our 3 courses in time, happy meal :) We randomly came to this restaurant. What a gem to find.

Google
Authentic Mexican food at its finest. The guacamole and salsa are homemade and so fresh and flavourful. My friend ordered the chips with guacamole and salsa and I ordered a birria burrito. It was deep fried; I have never had a deep fried burrito before and it was soooo good! They didn’t cheap out on the beef — it was completely stuffed with it and it was so tender. It came with a side of guacamole and a few chips. It was so filling and I was so full. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. We came here on a whim and we were so happy that we did because we really enjoyed our meals. The food was absolutely delicious and we highly recommend it!!

Food was great - guac was sooo good, tacos were with perfect amount of filling, very flavorful. Plenty of options as a vegetarian which I loved. Servers were attentive, quick, and friendly. 10/10 ambiance.

Google
I have been there several times. One of best authentic Mexican food outside of Mexico. They have good wine selection and servers make good recommendations to pair wine with good you order. Great selection of tequila. They accept advanced reservations for birthday parties, after work company functions.

Google
Fantastic! Mexican food is a real challenge in our household. Finding a place that all of us enjoy because we all have very different palates. My daughter loves super spicy food, my husband loves tacos, and I am never a fan of Mexican food unless we are in Mexico. Finally, we have found a place that works for all of us and I felt like I was eating some of the best Mexican food I have had in a while. The ceviche flight is delicious!! Miguel was a delightful server and the rest of the staff are really great too. My daughter was really impressed they had horchata on the menu and said it was excellent. The atmosphere was fun, colourful and casual. Parking is a bit challenging but we were patient and found a spot. Happy hour was 5 to 6pm and it has lots of options. We will definitely go back again and I highly recommend this place.

Google
This place is amazing! Miguel took great care of us, he had the perfect recommendations and was great to chat with. The food is fresh, authentic, and really delicious! Highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience! The Whaco taco (stacked birria) and the Cameron (shrimp) taco were my fave, and my partner really enjoyed the chicken tinga deep-friend burrito

Google
I'd give Los Cuervos 3.5/5 for the food. My pescado (fish) fried burrito was alright but it's a rare time where there was too much cheese and it masked some of the fish inside. The horchata was too sweet, but the tortilla chips with guac and salsa was good. The atmosphere was nice and fitting, but food wise I'd rather have Sal Y Limon down the street where the food tastes better while being cheaper, plus their horchata is much better and not so sweet.

Google
Insanely good fried burritos- so crispy and cheesy! Plus it came with a generous amount of guac. Also the non alcoholic fresca drinks are SO good! Refreshing and so flavourful with a salt rim. I got Mango-Grapefruit-Basil. Service was friendly. Cute cozy atmosphere for a date night too. Loooved it

Yelp
Where has this restaurant been all my life? Ummm...apparently right under my nose as I know I have seen this restaurant many times over the years and never went in until now.  We came here for dinner with the family and I have to say that this is now one of my favourite Mexican restaurants in Vancouver.  We ordered some Happy Hour chips, salsa, & guacamole, a few tacos and an order of churros.  This chips were freshly made. They came to the table piping hot, and I loved the guacamole dip that was served to us. I always worry in Mexican restaurants that there will be cilantro in the guacamole. Thankfully, I did not detect any cilantro in this guacamole. It was so good that we ordered a second round of it!  The tacos were great too. Have you ever had a taco with cactus in it? You can get a Nopal taco which comes with grilled cactus in it!  The Churros was a winner too. It came with a caramel dip.  My daughter ordered a Queso Fundido and I think that was the one item that wasn't quite so awesome as everything else on the table. She loves her cheese but I think this one left her feeling a bit too greased out.  Overall, an awesome choice for Mexican food!

Yelp
A very spontaneous visit to Los Cuervos ended up being absolutely amazing! Tried out the birria, Al pastor, and pescado tacos! All of them were packed with filling and so tasty! Love the pop of pineapple in the Al pastor! Also tried out the agua fresca which was super refreshing on a summer day! The staff were super friendly and attentive during our stay which made the visit even better!

Yelp
Had high hopes for this place cause I passed by it for years. Chips and salsa were really good! Would definitely get again. Al pastor and birria taco were sooo mid. Super dry, lacks flavour. I love when restos use corn tortilla though which is a plus. The fish taco and chorizo were much better. Churros and ice cream were also good. Overall, it's okay but not enough to come back especially when there's lots of competition. Vibes inside did not match the vibe on the outside of the restaurant (underwhelming). Service was good!

Yelp
Came on a late Sunday night, service was fine. It's NOT authentic Mexican. Ordered the recommended chips w salsa & guac - the chips were incredibly oily. The guac was a bit chunky for my taste, but my friend happily obliged. The salsa was basically ketchup - no spice at all. Be warned: their "burritos" are all deep-fried (aka chimichangas). Still, I don't care, so I got a chicken Burrito. My friend was able to order a mix chicken/beef burrito & was very happy with the result. My chicken was grilled (yum), but then deep fried in the "burrito", which might put most people off, but I in fact love well-done chicken. 4*??? Yes! So whilst I asked for (and appreciate) they make their own hot sauces (green & orange, TBH), neither one was even a 1/10. So I asked the waiter for "hot" sauce. Was given a 2/10 hot verde. When I go to a Mexican establishment, I expect to sweat w hot sauce. Nope Also, to previous reviewers who complained about "too much cheese"...like when is that ever a bad thing???? I got an adequate amount of cheese..would like to compare, bc in my book there's no such thing as "too much cheese".

Yelp
We had drinks and shared some chips, salsa and guacamole... what a gem! The mangonada drink was such a hit we were thinking about it the next day!

Yelp
Amazing service and food, everyone is incredibly polite and accommodating. The restaurant also looks very inviting. If your looking for food in Vancouver don't miss out on this place.

Yelp
I've driven by Los Cuervos numerous times since they're located on a busy street in Kingsway, but have never visited, until last night. A friend and I wanted to catch up over tacos and margaritas and the place we initially wanted to check out was closed, so we ended up coming here. It was a blessing in disguise because we had a lovely experience here! We came in right at 5 during happy hour and grabbed a seat on the patio. During Covid, all the tables are socially distanced, the servers are wearing masks, and their is hand sanitizer at the entrance of the restaurant. Their menu consists of a variety of tacos, burritos, quesadillas and appetizers. They are more so known for their tacos so that's what I ended up getting. Plus, they had a happy hour deal of 2 tacos and a double margarita for $16, which I couldn't pass up. We both got mango margaritas and a bowl of chips and dip to share. For tacos, I got the camaron (fried shrimp) and pescado (fried fish). My pal got the birria de res and pastor tacos, which he said were delicious. These bad boys were served on 6 inch tortillas, which are more generous than other taco joints around the city. I personally really loved both of my tacos. There was a good amount of flavour, the portions were generous, and it left me feeling completely satisfied. Our margaritas were really sweet and honestly didn't really taste like doubles. While it was still good, it mostly tasted like thick mango juice. Next time I'd love to try their lime margarita. Our server was very friendly and remained socially distant throughout our whole time there. I had a really great time here and will definitely be back for more tacos and margaritas!

Yelp
Great service, tasty food, and reasonably priced. My friend had their deep fried burrito and thought it was delicious. After one bite, I could tell she was happy about her choice. Super satisfying and she said she would definitely come back. I've been here a few times, but only tried their tacos. This time around I had their quesadilla and it was so good. Very cheesy and flavourful. It came with some guacamole and the hot sauce was perfect with it. The food would have gone well with some drinks. So we'll definitely be coming back for some drinks and food sometime soon.

Yelp
Great handshaken margaritas! Reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The tacos are very good. This place offers a filling for every taste. They are somewhat flexible to accommodate dietary restrictions. Lots of street parking in the area.

Yelp
Taco. Taco. Churro. Churro. Churro. Churro. Churro. Churro. A happy accident that I stumbled into this hole in the wall on a rainy Wednesday. I had 2 tacos and six churros. I once spent 10 days in México but found these to be better than that time. After the tacos I was STUFFED like the pork I had just consumed. Still. I just HAD to try the churro. I expected one but received 6. This was a happy surprise. This was good churro. The bathrooms were clean. The service admirable. I will once again attend los Cuervos when I return from my current travels, but next time I'll bring my hollow leg!!!!! - ZM

Yelp
I'm a huge Mexican food lover & I went to this place because I saw it on Tik-Tok. The guac and salsa they give you was very fresh but I was a little disappointed when my meal came because the burrito was fried and there was way too much cheese. The inside was decorated nicely but the main course was not what I was expecting. I didn't end up eating my meal because of the overload of cheese. I'm going to give it a 3 stars because of the decorations, presentation & appetizer but I was not in favour of the main courses.

Yelp
I stopped by for a casual dinner on a Friday night and the place got fairly busy throughout the night. They also had a lot of delivery pick ups or people just ordering take out. There was hand sanitizer available when you walk in and then on the table as well. They also had barriers between tables or tables were spaced out where possible. As for the food, the chips and salsa were freshly fried and satisfying. I also had 2 tacos which were on 6" corn tortillas. There was a good amount of filling, but because I can be a slow eater, my tortillas ended up being soggy and it broke apart. I also had a mezcal margarita with my dinner. The margarita was amazing! Just the right balance of tartness and sweetness. It was very easy to drink and probably one of the best I've had. I had churros to end off the meal. It was also freshly fried and came with some caramel and white chocolate sauce. They came in six 2-bite sized pieces and it was good to share for the table!

Yelp
Sorry but this place falls very short on it's attempt to make Mexican food. Take if from a Mexican native. Tacos are big but lack substance, well let me re-frase that, the tortilla is a regular size corn tortilla but the actual filling was little. I wanted to ask for the tamal on the menu but the server didn't even know what filling was. Sal y Limon accross fraser st. is a better option, but also not the greatest

Kirsten T.

Yelp
drinks were good, but disappointed with the tacos. pork was chunks- not shredded and too chewy. The fish did not have enough sauce or flavour. The chicken taco fell apart-- only one shell for the tacos. Server cute and nice.

Yelp
I came here on a sunday at 5pm and was pleased to hear that it was happy hour! This meant 2 for $10 6" tacos!! The list of options provides a variety of meats and non-meat options. I tried the Burria taco which was great, however, I wish I got the "Waco Taco" (not included in happy hour and is $11 each) because it sounds and looks VERY GOOD. Nevertheless, i was so pleased with everything I ordered. As for their chips, guac, and salsa appy.... It was one of the BEST ive ever had. The chips came hot, straight from the fryer, and the guac was filled with beautiful ingredients that blended so well together. I typically go to any of the tacofino joints but this will have to be my new go-to! ALSO, if you're a tequila drinker they have flights of premium tequila, premium mezcal, and don julio shots!! Additionally, the vibe was great! In comparison to tacofino, you should expect more of a home-y and colourful environment, with a touch of character.

Yelp
I tried the choriqueso (house chorizo with cheese)and pescadon (fried fish) tacos, and the daily special tostada which was a scallop ceviche! My boyfriend had the alambre (bison skirt steak with bacon) and tinga de pollo (pulled chicken) tacos with another tinga de pollo tostada. Thus we tried 6 different types in one sitting, and enjoyed all of them thoroughly! The ceviche was very fresh, but had a bit too much lime for my liking. All of the other tacos/tostada had lots of flavor, and to top it off, their house-made salsas were all delicious! I would highly recommend getting the churros for dessert, and splurge a bit by getting both chocolate and caramel dips - you won't regret it!

Yelp
Impressive food, interesting menu, the server was great... BUT once I mentioned the Pastor taco was drastically smaller than the rest of our medley of ($5ish) tacos, this experience went SOUTH! The "manager" approached the table with an explanation about food costs and portion control when I had initially asked the server to talk to the chef about comping another pastor to make up for a two bite taco. Long story short, the answer was no and my wife felt a certain Russian gangster scary vibe from said "manager". Would love to return, but concerned about our safety.

Yelp
Birria ($4.50+tax) is Chili braised lamb cheek with onions, cilantro and crispy chick peas. This is my FAVE one!!! The lamb was sooo tender and soft! I actually thought I was eating a tender beef. Atun ($4.50+tax) is Seared Albacore tuna, jicama slaw, wasabi crema, flour tortilla. This was my second fave! I always loved tuna! I have tasted better tuna tho. On a taco, it was not bad at all with a hint of wasabi! Lomo Cantinerio ($4.25+tax) is Cantina-style slow-roasted pork shoulder, pineapple pico de gallo salsa. This is my LEAST fave one!! The pork was super hard to chew! It was dry and felt like it was chewing a string?? It was hard to break the meat apart with my teeth!! lololol Churros ($5.50+ tax, with Chocolate or Cajeta sauce, 6.00+tax, with both sauces) This was THE BEST churros I had so far!!! It's wayyyyy better than Sal Y Limon's. The churros were super soft and we thought it had milky fillings in the middle, but it was just the batter~ It tasted like fried milk sticks! It was SOOOOOOO good! The chocolate sauce was our fave!!! It has vodka in it as well! The Cajeta sauce was made out of goat milk and has caramel taste in it. I forgot what the waitress told us, but I didn't enjoy as much cuz it was quite TASTELESS for me. It's not sweet tho! The goat milk and caramel flavours were soo mild for me! As for my friend, she hates goat milk, and she said it was strong for her! So I guess, if you are super sensitive with gamy taste, I guess you will be able to taste it wayyyy better than I can. I've tried Sal Y Limon many times (really close to this place), and I wanted to try this place out. I didn't read their reviews before going there. After going, I read a lot of bad reviews about them. I guess this place is a hit and miss restaurant? Overall, I would come back to try other tacos and for the CHURROS!! The price is higher than Sal Y Limon, but it seems to me the portion is bigger than Sal Y Limon as well! In my opinion, it's like the same price~ Bigger portion = little more expensive. The server seemed nice and friendly. So far, the service was good. They occasionally checked up on us and asked if our meals were okay, but I can't guarantee how the next visit will be cuz it seems to be on and off based on the Yelp reviews. I guess I'll find out next time!

Yelp
This is a solid place for tacos in Vancouver! I personally liked it way more than Sal y Limon down the street. My boyfriend and I decided to split 6 tacos in two rounds: Lomo Cantinero, Birria de Res, Choriqueso, Alambre, Camaron, and the Ceviche Tostada. I thought we'd end up ordering more than that but they ended up being pretty filling for how we were feeling at the moment. My favorite was probably the Camaron. The prawns were cooked so perfectly and had the right amount of crisp to them, I definitely took a bigger bite out of that one. I think the chickpeas in the Birria de Res were a great addition and added some crunch. I enjoyed the meat in all the tacos as they had flavor and weren't overly dry like they are at some other taquerias. They also filled them pretty reasonably, to the point where your taco is overflowing while you're trying to eat it which is always the goal here. Their drink menu seemed pretty good, unfortunately we weren't having any drinks that night. We finished with the churros which were nice and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. We got the caramel sauce which was surprisingly delicious. I don't typically like caramel because of it's sweetness and sticky texture but this sauce was well made and it wasn't overly sweet, so it paired well with the already sweet churro. There are two(?) areas of the restaurant. We were seated on the side you enter from which was a bit darker and quieter, but the other side seemed to have a different atmosphere that was a bit lighter and more active. The servers were very attentive and always came back to check up on us. The food arrived to our tables pretty quickly as well, although the restaurant wasn't very packed at the time so I don't know how it would be with a larger crowd. It was a good place to satisfy a taco craving but there was nothing really mind-blowing about the food which is why I think it deserves 4 stars. I don't think I'd go out of my way to come here, unless it's for the Camaron taco, I thought that was really good.

Yelp
One of the best taco places I been to in Vancouver. Tuna tacon was great. Had great sauces.

Yelp
Mother's Day. Me and the crew. Liked the fish taco but would have loved some chips and snacks first. Hubby had beef to start, fatty, then the chicken, bland . Kids went with chicken. Basic tomato sauce with chicken. Hubby tried ceviche. Very salty. 12 dollar margaritas. We all left disappointed and paid a 96.00 dollar bill! Won't be going back. The flavour just isn't there

Jaime P.

Yelp
I had big expectations when I saw the reviews so I placed a delivery order, food arrived and looked good, but after that it all went down badly: - Tuna did not taste very good. - Tacos al pastor had a few pieces of fat (gordos). - The gringa (pastor quesadilla) had no pineapple, cilantro or onion. - There were no limes sent for tacos al pastor (what? Big sin!) - They either prepare the Tamarind water with sparkling water or it was fermented. - Way too much ice in the aguas frescas. - Probably not restaurant fault but everything arrived cold. - Red salsa wasn't bad. This was our first and last, will continue our search for a really authentic Mexican place in Vancouver.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place more than I did. I had 3 tacos and thought 1 was quite good (beef) and the other 2 were just okay (cauliflower, and fried avocado). Vibe is great, loved the old school soundtrack. Service was decent. I'll probably be back since it's so close to my house but not as great as I'd hoped!

Yelp
We arrived at around 5:00PM on a Monday evening to a refreshingly empty restaurant. This place looks like your aunt's abandoned yet hip basement with comfy 90's seats and funky wall art. I immediately felt relaxed and at ease. I knew I would like this place a lot. The menu contains about 10 different taco varieties, all of which sound equally appetizing, so I had a difficult time choosing which ones to get. Our server informed us that Happy Hour was from 4:00PM - 6:00PM with promotions such as 2 tacos and 1 beer for $10. We couldn't say no! In the end and after some advice from our server, I settled on a prawn taco with guacamole, a fried avocado taco with beans and corn, a Phillip's White Peach Ale, and a ceviche tostada. My favourites were definitely the prawn taco, which had a delicious sweetness to it that was enhanced by the guacamole, and the ceviche tostada, which had light and refreshing cod, apples, and cucumbers balanced with a crunchy tostada shell. We also grabbed churros with chocolate for dessert. While not as decadent as the churros from neighbouring Sal Y Limon - perhaps because they were much smaller in diameter - they were still lovely. The chocolate was rich and the churros were crunchy with the perfect amount of dusted sugar. My overall experience was extremely pleasant. This place has a much warmer, more relaxed, more laid-back ambiance than Sal Y Limon, which at times, can feel like a high-volume food court or cafeteria. The quality of the food is comparable, the difference depends on what kind of dining experience you'd like!

Yelp
I'm on a taco trip. I came here because I was excited to try something new. Positives: Atmosphere and location is super cute. Prices are reasonable including the drinks. They have different ingredients that paired together, sound amazing. 4 different homemade salsas that are unique and delicious. Not so positive: They have 3 vegetarian options; mushroom, battered avocado, and cauliflower. I tried all 3 and I really enjoyed the cauliflower (with pepitas). Paired with salsa verde, it was really good. The mushroom was decent but nothing special. The battered avocado was weird and I just couldn't get into it. I was super full off of the three but I was disappointed so I ordered a veg quesadilla which consisted of cheese. It had a corn, black bean salad on top and all in all, it was good. My friend got the prawn taco, fish taco, and ceviche. She loved the prawn taco a lot and said it that was worth coming back! I'm glad I tried but it just wasn't for me!

Marty R.

Yelp
I used to love this place. Especially the Atun Tacos. So much so that this WAS my favourite local restaurant. In come new owners... completely botched all the old recipes, and can't get anything right. I've given them 3 chances, too. No more, I'm done.

Yelp
This spot offers great tasting tacos. I had the bison w/bacon taco and the sablefish taco. There are many more to choose from, but I was taco-shop hopping. I also ordered a Mezcal tamarind margarita. I love that there are variations on the original margarita. The server and bartender were friendly and efficient. I got in at 5:00, just when it opened, and was done with a bill in my hand by 5:20. This is not a bad sign at all. I was just trying the place solo and appreciated the quick service. The food and drink came out fairly quickly. Although the taste and selection of tacos are great, they are double the price of some other establishments $4.50/taco. I'm assuming this is because of the ambience and modern decor. This is a good spot if you're out with someone and want to enjoy your Mexican fare in style.

Yelp
I love this neighbourhood joint! While Sal y Limón- the ever so yummy and popular taco bar- is a stones throw away, they really do offer different experiences. Though Los Cuervos is indisputably more expensive, it has a huge drink menu and better ambience for an actual sit down meal and hang out. The Cameron shrimp taco is the absolute best on their menu! It's juicy and crunchy and so so flavourful! The sangria is delicious as well. Order these and you won't regret it!

Yelp
After passing by here so many times, we decided to finally try this restaurant last night. We waited less than 10 minutes for a table, which was great considering it was a beautiful Saturday night. We ordered drinks and tacos, and our server seemingly forgot about everything. We had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks, and almost 45 minutes for our food (I asked her where our meals were at this point). After saying that she would check on our food, another server finally came over and gave us everything, barely even lukewarm. Maybe the server was having a bad night? Either way, I will definitely not rush to go back.

Yelp
An awesome neighbourhood spot with an excellent selection of tacos. The ambiance here is warm, inviting, and casual - the perfect place to grab a quick dinner. We've often passed by this place in search of a reservation at Les Faux or Savio Volpe, which is a major regret of ours now that we've tried it. I highly recommend coming here instead of Sal y Limon.

Yelp
No mamen... My wife and I had put off trying Los Cuervos for some time and I wish we had waited even longer. We have long been lamenting the dearth of simple authentic Mexican food in Vancouver, especially since our go-to taquería changed locations and decided to favour the upscale millennial market, and Los Cuervos only serves to remind us of exactly how bad the situation is. We stopped in around 6pm on a Friday evening, as we were going through one of our frequent "taco emergencies" (an immediate and overpowering desire to experience authentic tacos). I was very pleased with how we were greeted at the door, as the host was genuinely welcoming and enthusiastic, and even made an effort to communicate in Spanish. But the joy was short-lived. A quick glance at the menu was enough to confirm that the cuisine would be "Mexican-inspired" at best. I actually laughed when I saw tacos priced at $4.50, close to 50% more than what might be reasonable, even in our expensive city, but I gave them a try anyway. I was not pleased. There is very little on the taco menu that is authentically Mexican, but even more disappointing was the lack of flavour and the tiny portion size. The tortilla seemed to have been heated in a microwave (not on the comal) and there was a complete lack of sazón or genuine flavour. Notwithstanding my complaint about the prices (the fundamental concept of tacos is antithetical to trendy and expensive cuisine), I actually wouldn't mind paying a premium, provided there is value, but Los Cuervos failed to deliver the value. The fact that we were the only Mexicans in the place (or so it appeared) speaks to the level of authenticity. Perhaps if you're looking for some Mexican influence in your meal, yet you prefer cauliflower to carnitas, then this is the place for you. If you're looking for Mexican cuisine, however, keep looking (and please let us know if you find it so we don't have to drive to Bellingham).

Yelp
I visited this lovely spot a few times now and I can say that there are two certainties: tacos are really good and filling, and service should improve. Food: juicy, flavourful, chubby tacos. Some of my favorites are the aguacate (deep fried avocado) and the camaron (shrimp). You should also try the lamb flautas, something between a taco and a roll. Cocktails are really good too, obviously I generally go for margaritas. Being a Mexican-style (not Mexican-operated) restaurant, you will find plenty of local craft beers - which to me is a pro, considering the environmental impact of having beers traveling across a continent. Service: as I said, it needs some improvement. Once we got attitude from a server who wasn't really caring enough about anything (bad day maybe?). Another time we left our name on the list as there were no tables available, came back by the time we were suggested (between 20 and 30 minutes) but the table was gone already and we had to wait for another 10-15. The server told us that is "first come first served". The restaurant gets busy enough to turn clients down if they don't want to wait twice, but maybe a text alert service for reservations would really help.

Yelp
Omg the worst attitude received today at 8:00 pm from a waitress blond with glasses Omg worst welcoming ever , even in a jungle we can't find this, what a shame zero stars and we didn't stay for sure

Yelp
That burrito was interesting. It didn't have alot of meat in it but it was interesting. It was deep fried and very cheezy. the texture was cool. The service was ok. Would I go there again. Definelty.

Yelp
For me, any meal out should be tasty and fun. Los Cuervos is both. The tacos are small so order a few to get started and keep in mind that more will likely be necessary to fill you. I mostly enjoyed the space, which is reminiscent of the Waldorf Tiki Room in that it's kind of Retro-Chic and I love shape of the bar. It's a sweet room and any day now they're busting into next door. They've already got everything ready, it's just those pesky inspections and the likes that are holding the party up. Soon there will be double the fun and I can see that there will be no shortage of customers. Glutenfree? no problem. Ask your server. Great spot, check it out! Pix to post now :)

Yelp
Thank you Yelpers for guiding me here tonight!!! Have been craving tacos for the longest time and this hit the spot in a major way. The prices are fantastic and the staff super friendly. I also got to indulge my secret love:latino rap! Big big winners here, these guys elevate it to a whole other level while kicking ass at staying true to the taqueria style found all over in urban and rural Mexico. Home made chorizo, amazing!!! The carne asada and tuna tacos almost made me cry fro. Happiness a bit too. The bf and I shared 4 tacos and 1 tostada, as well as had a beer each and our grand total was 30$. Cannot wait to come back to try their margaritas and churros!

Yelp
Heard about this place and decided to give it a try. The tacos are pretty big but at $4 not a great deal. Flavors are ok but nothing fabulous. The quesadillas are the best. They are $5 for 3 small pieces but very tasty. Maybe the best quesadilla I've ever had. The rolled tacos are average-again like most Mexican restaurants. We had a total of 3 tacos, shared the rolled tacos dish, and 2 quesadillas and one margarita. The bill was $37. Portions are small. I'm use to really fresh Ingredients with Mexican food. There was hardly any tomatoes, salsa or lime in any of the dishes. Not cheap but take credit card. Sal y limon is better and seems more authentic .

Yelp
Even on a snowy night this place was bustling (but no two hour wait like the other restaurants on the block so that was a relief for our hungry stomachs!) Large selection of meat and vegetarian tacos as well as some other items like flautas, tostadas, and ceviche. For drinks you can imbibe margaritas or even some mezcal (which we were told is a more fermented version of agave, which is the same starting point as tequila). My friends really enjoyed their tinga de pollo tostadas and flautas, while I liked the beef brisket and crispy shrimp tacos. The pork is also good, but a little on the dry side. We also tested all the different salsas; the salsa verde is pretty spicy so be aware, red doesn't always mean the hottest! Cost of tacos is about $4.50-5.00 per taco, and even as a heavily pregnant hungry woman I was pretty satisfied with 3 tacos. Dinner out for $15 isn't bad in this newly hipster neck of the woods. Service is pretty friendly overall but it would have been nice to be able to start a tab for some drinks while we were waiting (nobody offered), especially as there is a small area in the front for waiting with an elevated table, and wait times can be up to 30 minutes.

Yelp
I am for sure giving this a 5 star review. Never have I been to a taqueria that was as delicious as this. I am pretty sure that we ate more tacos that anyone knows what to do with! The service was on point, and the ingredients were fab! The duck and sweet potato flautas were definitely two thumbs up. Skirt steak taco was really tasty. The quesadilla was hot and melty like a quesadilla should be. I can't remember the other tacos we had, but it was lots. The server just kept them coming! For dessert, of course the churros! Chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, and homemade cinnamon and sugar churros. Great way to end the meal. I want to go here again. I will when I"m back in town!

Yelp
Pretty good for a bunch of gringo-looking cooks! :) There are some nice flavors, and fantastic salsas. Nice relaxed atmosphere, no fighting to get a table for brunch service. We plan to return and explore the menu more.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place by accident when waiting to get into sal y limon. OH MY GOD. So glad that they were busy because this place has THE BEST TACOS, MARGARITAS and CHURROS . It's been a staple for my friend for a couple years now. And recently introduced my boyfriends friends here and they are obsessed as well. The Cameron taco is to die for. Only wish they expanded their menu to include chips and dip or tatertots.

Yelp
A small but quaint Mexican tappa type gem. There are 6 small tables and only a total of 10 barstools (6 of those in front area). Today we shared the creviche (citrus "cooked" prawn with lettuce and onion) and then each enjoyed the battered avocado (kinda flat tasting), the tuna (amazing and smokey flavour!) and I had the pulled pork (and why would you add bland red pickled onions?) I had a classic (lime) margarita in a boring short highball glass Andrew friend had a Pacifico beer (which he said was nothing special). Unfortunately when we went to pay their debit machine went down so my friend had to drive to an ATM. I didn't have lunch and basically only had a small fruit and yogurt parfait this morning before 7am = am hungry. But even that I am not stuffed, not especially hungry and not necessarily sated. With that said and done i would probably come back to see if it got better.

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here for a while now, hearing only good reviews but my time here really showed how crappy service could really ruin a meal. I guess maybe she didn't like me asking where 2 of our tacos were (Sorry didn't realize they came out in waves. Especially since some other tables got their food after us). Then trying to grab her attention was another joy since she would make eye contact and then go to another table. But the best part was when I found a hair in the taco that took forever to come out. After a terse sorry, the service really came to a halt. Maybe I had a bitch face or maybe I was wearing something she didn't like but yep I got your message loud and clear. Now I guess I hope you hear my message when I never come back. TLDR: taco was good enough that I would have given it another shot but the service is what will keep me away.

Yelp
These were the BEST tacos I and my girlfriend had ever had! Maybe we were just really craving Tacos, or maybe this was an accurate assessment. Either way, these were great! We had an assortment of tacos, of note were the Bison and Brisket tacos which were excellent! As someone with Celiac disease, the waitress was very helpful with guiding me towards the gluten free options on the menu. The salsas were also a highlight! Great place

Yelp
This is one of those places that makes you wonder what is happening when you're not there because the service is horrible, the places is poorly organized, and the food is really hit and miss but it still gets good reviews. Had a bad experience the first time but decided to give it a second chance - even worse. And so overpriced for what you get. Odd. I guess most people have low standards.

Yelp
Excellent tacos! Every bite made me sad as I knew that after the fourth the taco would be all in my tummy! I wish I could've tried them all but the portions were enough to satisfy my belly at 3!! Price ranges from $4.00 - $5.00 /taco... Which i find fair considering they are gourmet tacos with obviously fresh ingredients and their homemade salsa/sauces added the perfect touch of heat to spice it up as much or as little as you like. Overall great experience and will return when I'm in town again!

Yelp
Support this spot because its in my neighborhood but wish they had a bit more variety. + more intimate spot to eat than Sal y Limon friendly staff pork pineapple taco is gooood avocado taco, good - if only ordering small tacos you can literally be done eating in 15mins. when going out with friends you wanna sit and catch up for at least an hour. felt like I had to stagger out my ordering to last an hour there.
