How the Protests in Santiago, Chile, Are Impacting Travelers
"Providencia and anything east, including the Parque Bicentenario and the Chilean craft market Centro Artesanal Pueblito Los Dominicos, remained open."
A great place, full of artisan shops selling hand made items. It has such a nice vibe, it's great to walk around. It also has several cafes serving food and drinks. I love it! And right near the metro station too. Definitely worth visiting to find a unique souvenir ❤️

how is this place not absolutely packed all day everyday?? I had a wonderful time floating in and out of shops and found all the souvenirs I was looking for. Such kind people and so many creative, handmade products. Should be at the top of every visitors’ list!!

If you’re visiting Santiago, this is a MUST DO! The first market I’ve come across with true artisan goods - not mass produced tourist stuff. Great place to find handmade, one of a kind, Chilean goods. And a 2 minute walk from the metro!

Amazing place to shop various handicrafts and artwork. They have wooden, ceramic, copper, lapis azul and much more. The artists are very welcoming and friendly.

This artisan center had all sorts of jewelry, musical instruments, traditional puzzles and games, plants, birds, and and huge variety of art. I did not see a lot of tourists here which was surprising, given how cool this art collective is! I would specifically recommend the Piedra Nativa Joyas at L 86 for jewelry.

Experience craft shops in a secluded area with winding pathways, lunch & beer patio, leather, rocks, art, jewelry, clothing, birds, and a cool little bonsai sanctuary.
