We had the best evening meal here. The atmosphere, decor, view ,cocktails and food were excellent. Was not sure what to expect after reading mixed reviews. We absolutely loved it. Not sure what was sprinkled on the Mojito, it tasted delicious, the best I have ever had. Highly recommend

The view and the food are amazing, lovely surroundings and a view that never gets old. How disappointing that the service is so terrible! The staff are arrogant, ignore you and don't even say goodbye after you have spent a lot of money during lunch.

The current review is about the hotel part, not the restaurant. ||The looks of the hotel are very ‘hippie’, consistent with the casual chic, slightly run down but beautiful, wannabe alternative expectations of instagram junkies with no sense or time for real quality. The hotel is all about looks, but not about content. I wonder how Conde Nast Traveler could fall for this…||Our room was BEAUTIFUL and looked very cozy. On second glance however you notice it’s too small to walk properly around the bed, has no proper lighting, no single chair, no place for a suitcase and a badly equipped bathroom. In practice you have to put your clothes on the floor, there is not enough light to look yourself in a mirror (try to put makeup on in these conditions) and the bed was just 10 cm above the floor (actually it consisted of a mattress on the ground). The mosquito net (very important in this mosquito infested place), designed as a beautiful baldachin, looked very posh, but made it impossible to reach your bed side table or lamp… As I said: all about the looks.||||This is all ok for a simple hostel, but not a 400€ per night hotel room.||What’s more, the air conditioning didn’t work and the lights in the bath were constantly flickering. Maintenance doesn’t seem high on the agenda either.||||Location and the view on the sea was GREAT, breakfast was ok-ish and staff a bit too relaxed (not to say slow).||||My conclusion: it’s a rip-off. Beautiful , but a rip-off.||||My advice: book the hotel on the other side of the street, with similar view, proper amenities, a decent sized room, swimming pool and a parking lot for 300€.

We trekked up here in a rental car from the port because a friend recommended it for the sunset view. The sunset view doesn’t disappoint. However, there is noticeable and definite attitude from some staffers …as if they are doing you a favor to let you eat here. It’s a bit subtle but you feel it. It’s a turn off. The food was okay. We had a tasty chicken appetizer and then the ribs, drenched in sauce, prawn tacos were ok. Basically it seems you’re paying for the view and the privilege of sitting there. Decor is quirky and cool, interesting. Wish the rest of the business was as carefully curated.

We discovered this restaurant while taking a walk in portinatx a couple of evenings ago. |We asked if there was any room for a table and we were quickly told ‘you need to book online’ |As it was busy we assumed this would be a good place to book, (easy process I may add) |When we arrived for our booking the greeter was friendly, however it quickly went down hill from then! |We ordered a couple of drinks, including a beer, to which the waiter was rude! |We then ordered our food.. Iberian ribs with a side of fries and LE lobster rice bowl. |On presentation the food looked good, but disappointing to taste. My rice bowl had a small quantity of lobster and way too much rice. |My husbands ribs were over cooked, with very little sauce (and ribs I may add!) |Not once were we asked how our meal was, even when he came back to clear our plates and could see my half eaten food he still didn’t ask if everything was alright! |All in all overpriced and unsatisfying :( |Over 100€ for 2 mains and 2 drinks |Only positive was the view!

Lovely staff and peaceful relaxed vibe. Not crowded. Loved soft music in the morning. BUT, the food is super mediocre- they do need a new caring chef- nothing extravagant, but someone who can inspire with produce. The breakfast was dry and bland..

After an afternoon on Portinax beach for the first time had pre booked a table at 9 . We were shown to a stunning table for two overlooking the sunset, boats etc such a cool vibe and fantastic menu. Very hard to choose. Had cocktails and wine, starters ceviche and guacamole/tacos. Sublime tender huge amount of steak and fries, sea bass, and rice pudding for desert. Service attentive but also not too quick allowed time for food to go down nicely. Lovely place to stay I imagine.

I stay locally when I come to Ibiza and consider CN Traveler the bible when I travel. There's no denying that this is a stupendous end of Ibiza, the beauty of the bay and the sunsets are incomparable from this semi-hidden spot at the far end of Portinatx, and this hotel bursts of creativity, but every time I have gone I have never been welcomed by any of the restaurant staff. I have sat waiting to order and been ignored over and over against they race past me. I've seen the rooms online and the price point and decor make me wonder why anyone would book such a textile filled room, which cannot possibly be cleaned adequately between guests. This is an art project posing as a hospitality venture, but the pendulum needs to swing towards hospitality to impress me, and doubtless many other visitors.
