Wow! What a special experience. Pricey but worth the all inclusive rates if you don’t want to worry about anything beyond relaxing. Beautiful and spotless hotel surrounded by gorgeous views, gardens and a coffee finca. A little outside downtown Boquete. What really makes this the best place to stay was the amazingly, friendly and helpful staff. They worked hard to make sure our every need was met, from driving us around, setting up tours, providing an amazing massage, taking care of our laundry and all the delicious food for every meals we had in the restaurant. We also enjoyed our evening happy hours. We recommend the coffee tour and zip lining activity. If you are hiker and down something more challenging don’t miss the 3 lost waterfalls. Be prepared for some rain if you visit in Dec. ||A big thank you to Marvin, Gabriel, Nairobi, Ricardo, Josefina and Elian for making our time in Boquete so special!

What a dream it was to stay here. From the views, the food, the staff, the excursions, and the value, we are so grateful to have stayed at Los Establos. This was our first experience with a non-buffet style all-inclusive and it was much nicer and less wasteful to have our meals made to order, specifically the Panamanian specialties. The more intimate nature of this vacation (there were only 4-5 couples on the resort) allowed us to develop friendships and enjoy our privacy throughout the resort. I cannot speak enough to the quality of the staff at Los Establos. They were so kind and helpful (even teaching me spanish) that by the end of our stay we were despondent about leaving them. They all seemed genuinely happy to be there, a testament to good company culture. We went during rainy season which limited what activities we could enjoy but it didn't feel like we were having a lesser experience. The rooms did get a bit cold, but the soups warmed us up. We cannot wait for our next visit to Boquete and we will certainly be staying here again. I hope some more gym equipment can be brought in before then!

My husband and I visited for his 50th birthday. The resort is quaint and peaceful. The staff was amazing and food was cooked to order. Our view of the volcano was just breathtaking. We did zip lining, the pipeline tour, coffee farm and volcano tour which was my favorite. This is a rough ride up up but Jose, our tour guide from @Beyond Adventure Tours was just amazing. He took great care of us. We also did the pipeline tour with Jorge and he showed us 2 sloths. Great knowledge of the outdoors. I was a little concerned as i needed to work a bit but the resort has a beautiful sitting area where I could work. The wifi signal was strong which made my budget call seamless. Overall amazing experience.

Excellent stuff , beautiful area hotel room needs a bit update . Lots to do ,great hikes and activities|Enjoyed the 4 pm afternoon snack and drinks .|Not enough activities at night no entertainment.|Dinner variety was enough and always very fresh |Spa could have had more options and later hours especially since afternoon activities were ending late .

This boutique hotel was formerly a coffee plantation. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with sloping lawns, buildings painted a bright golden color, and the surrounding area planted with coffee bushes. |We arrived early in the morning, fresh off a plane from David, and were immediately shown to a room - no issue with early check-in. From the start, the staff knew our names, and we learned theirs. The hotel is run daily by managed teams which do an excellent job. There is a happy hour every day from 4-6pm, with a different fruity cocktail of the day, a more traditional cocktail, and a non-alcoholic one for the younger folks. |The food is marvelous, multiple options at each meal, including a Panamanian dish. The restaurant is there just for the guests and staff, not open to the public. We had marvelous meals, with adjustments made for my lactose-intolerant spouse. Every meal was fully enjoyed! |About a dozen excursions are included - hikes, hot springs, rum - tea - coffee tours, lost waterfalls, hanging bridges, massage at the spa - just to name a few; many more are available at reasonable fees. |While currently under construction to expand the dining and guest facilities, the hotel and staff were friendly, extremely personable, flexible, and genuinely invested in guests having a great time. |The climate in this area of Panama is mild, averaging about 55-75 degrees F. The weather was delightful - mild, sunny - with the rain one might expect during the rainy season. |This is one place we would definitely go back to, time and travel list permitting!

This is an absolute must for everyone. Families, couples, the young and not so young. The staff here is incredible. By the end of the first day they all know your name. By the second day they know what you like and have it ready for you. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and each has their own once in a lifetime view. Amenities are fantastic. Work out room - spa - common area are incredible. Happy hour is awesome. And with all the choices of tours. From zip lining to hiking to waterfalls to rum and coffee tours. There is as much activity- you will never be board . The 4x4 volcano tour is an absolute must as so are the Lost Waterfalls and pipe line hike ( will need good hiking boots for all hikes) If I could give the staff a 12 star rating I would - if I could give this place a 15 star review I absolutely would . Los Establos is definitely a place I will be back to again .

We loved our stay here. Everything about the resort was exemplary! || The grounds was pristine and the meals were amazing! But it’s the service that really stood out . Shout out to Ricardo, Marvin and Nairobi. ||We had an early flight and requested a fruit bowl for our flight. They left it at the front desk, along with a breakfast sandwich and cup of coffee just the way we liked it. ||The excursions were great and the massage was just what we needed! ||If you are looking for a place to relax, unwind and recharge, look no further! ||Highly recommend
