Los Establos Panama

My husband and I stayed there for 7 nights and it wasn't long enough! We stayed in a premier suite and loved the view, modern bathroom and comfortable bed. The food is all inclusive but made to order and some of the best food I've had at a hotel. The happy hour is so fun to try new drinks and talk to other guests about their excursions. The excursions we went in were so fun and the guides were helpful and fun. Most people we met spoke good English. The weather in July I thought would be so hot and humid but it was nice and breezy with occasional rain. I felt very safe is Panama and hope to go back to Los Establos. I've traveled quite a bit and worked for a luxury hotel chain and Los Establos service is probably the best I've ever had. For example my husband lost his phone and they called the excursion company after hours located the phone and went and picked it up! Another example my wheel fell off my suitcase and they found a suitcase for me so I didn't need to take the broken one home. Another example my husband bought rum from the rum tour and they made special ice cubes for him! Thank you to Marvin, Ricardo, Gabriel, and Xavier for their wonderful service.

Los Establos is absolutely incredible! My wife and I went to Los Establos in Jun/Jul of 2025 with our 3 teenage boys (from Colorado) and had the best trip ever. The views are breathtaking, the food is incredible, the facilities are fabulous, but the real star of the resort is the staff. The staff made our stay truly special. They take care of everything with booking excursions so all you have to do is try to decide among the many great options. We stayed 10 nights so we could do as many adventures with our family as possible. The excursions are through different companies (separate from Los Establos), but you don’t have to worry about transportation or even towels. We even had a massage on a day we took to rest and recover and it was fantastic. You get to know and love the staff and they do the same with you. From singing karaoke with them during happy hour to them knowing your likely order at each meal, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. The town of Bouquete is beautiful and fun to explore as well, and the staff took us down there and picked us up to make it super easy for us. We can never go back to Panama and not stay at Los Establos.

. I was there with my family from July 7, 2025 to July 17, 2025. The hotel is in a beautiful location. The grounds and the rooms are beautiful and very well kept. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food was awesome. Happy hour was a favorite time for my family to get together. We danced and played games. The atmosphere was so friendly and light. It felt like being in a family member’s home. The activities on and off the resort were very well planned the people who led and guided them wore awesome as well. I look forward to going back again.

I have zero complaints about Los Establos. It was as perfect of an experience as it could have been. The rooms were so clean. The food was incredible (I have celiac and the chefs made the best gluten free food I’ve had since I got diagnosed, just for me.) The companies that the resort partners with for the excursions were phenomenal and knowledgeable. Los Establos quickly became home, thanks to the staff. They were intentional, got to know us, and were always so kind. I would definitely go back, even just to see the staff.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Our suite was exceedingly comfortable and spacious .The staff is accommodating and friendly.. The daily Happy Hour is a ton of fun to meet other guests, compare adventures and try new drinks. Again, the staff makes the difference!!|The food is amazing!!! Every meal! The coffee actually comes from the resort!|The excursions are a wonderful adventure and staffed by very professional guides. The spa has serene space with an excellent massage and the workout room is an added bonus. We are already planning our next trip to Los Establos!

This was easily the nicest resort my husband and I have ever stayed in. The staff is so kind and intentional, and it quickly became home. The companies that they partner with for the excursions are also 10/10. Great choices to choose from and enjoyed every single one we chose. I have celiac, and the chefs did a phenomenal job making sure they always had a good options for me. It made me feel known and seen. Would absolutely return. It’s a smaller property, so it would never feel overly crowded. The rooms were also so clean.

My partner and I recently stayed 5 nights at Los Establos and had a wonderful time there. The inn, while not luxurious, was lovely and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the 4 activities that were included (whitewater rafting, ziplining, hiking, bridge walk). Given the intimate size of the inn, you get to know the staff and other guests. We stayed in a Premium Suite, which was nice and comfortable with a lovely view of the volcano, and separate from the main building. I would recommend not staying in the main building - I imagine it would be a little loud. The food there was very good too. The Inn is also a short taxi ride from town and we had one dinner and one lunch in town. We would very much recommend this place.

My wife and I just spent an incredible seven days at Los Establos Boutique Resort in Boquete, Panama, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The staff was phenomenal—warm, personable, always professional, and impressively communicative. From excursion planning to dinner service, every moment felt effortlessly coordinated and sincere. The setting is simply breathtaking. Nestled beneath Volcán Barú, the resort offers stunning mountain views, lush gardens, and a calm that resets your soul. We loved starting each morning with the sounds of nature and fresh air drifting across the valley. What truly set our trip apart were the daily excursions. We soared across mountaintops on exhilarating zip lines, swam in crystal-clear river pools tucked in the rainforest, enjoyed coffee and rum tastings (that delighted both palate and mind), and toured the scenic roads surrounding Boquete with jaw-dropping vistas. Every activity was thoughtfully guided and incredibly well run. The food? Absolutely delicious. Each meal celebrated local flavors with elegance, and the setting—with a grand view of Volcán Barú —was unforgettable. Los Establos struck the perfect balance: luxurious yet authentic, energizing yet peaceful. It's hard to put into words how rejuvenated we felt at the end of the week. This resort exceeded every expectation, and we’re already planning our return. Highly recommended—five stars without hesitation.
