Los Establos Panama

This is our second time staying at this resort in five years. My mom uses a walker and they were so accommodating, the staff is amazing and Josfina (the resort’s manager) is the best. The food is top notch and the rooms are so comfortable.

A beautiful resort tucked away in the mountains an hour away from David Panama. The resort is beautiful. The staff is excellent. The food is excellent. The rooms are excellent. The view of the mountains is un parallel. You can’t get better service.

I can't say enough about our experience at Los Establos. The views and location were both convenient and stunning. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and spacious. Our meals were delicious with fresh ingredients and beautiful touches. Los Establos carefully curated amazing excursions with outside professional and high-quality tours that enhanced our experience beyond measure. Most importantly, the Los Establos staff went above and beyond to make our experience incredible--a vacation of a lifetime!

My husband and I stayed there for 7 nights and it wasn't long enough! We stayed in a premier suite and loved the view, modern bathroom and comfortable bed. The food is all inclusive but made to order and some of the best food I've had at a hotel. The happy hour is so fun to try new drinks and talk to other guests about their excursions. The excursions we went in were so fun and the guides were helpful and fun. Most people we met spoke good English. The weather in July I thought would be so hot and humid but it was nice and breezy with occasional rain. I felt very safe is Panama and hope to go back to Los Establos. I've traveled quite a bit and worked for a luxury hotel chain and Los Establos service is probably the best I've ever had. For example my husband lost his phone and they called the excursion company after hours located the phone and went and picked it up! Another example my wheel fell off my suitcase and they found a suitcase for me so I didn't need to take the broken one home. Another example my husband bought rum from the rum tour and they made special ice cubes for him! Thank you to Marvin, Ricardo, Gabriel, and Xavier for their wonderful service.

Los Establos is absolutely incredible! My wife and I went to Los Establos in Jun/Jul of 2025 with our 3 teenage boys (from Colorado) and had the best trip ever. The views are breathtaking, the food is incredible, the facilities are fabulous, but the real star of the resort is the staff. The staff made our stay truly special. They take care of everything with booking excursions so all you have to do is try to decide among the many great options. We stayed 10 nights so we could do as many adventures with our family as possible. The excursions are through different companies (separate from Los Establos), but you don’t have to worry about transportation or even towels. We even had a massage on a day we took to rest and recover and it was fantastic. You get to know and love the staff and they do the same with you. From singing karaoke with them during happy hour to them knowing your likely order at each meal, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. The town of Bouquete is beautiful and fun to explore as well, and the staff took us down there and picked us up to make it super easy for us. We can never go back to Panama and not stay at Los Establos.

Los Establos is the best resort/hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything was 5 star. All of the employees go above and beyond to make your stay one you will never forget!

My wife and I just spent seven great days at Los Establos Boutique Resort in Boquete, Panama. The resort combines a beautiful location, well-appointed lodging, fine dining, and fun excursiosn.||The staff was the best I have ever seen personable and professional. From excursion planning to dinner service, everyone worked as a team to make our stay as pleasant as possible.||The setting is beautiful, with Volcán Barú the centerpiece of the vista. The property is very well maintained. We loved starting each morning on our patio with the sound of a small mountain stream next to us.||What set our trip apart were the daily excursions. Wow! We flew on exhilarating zip lines, we jumped into a crystal-clear river after soaking in the nearby hot springs tucked in the rainforest, enjoyed coffee and rum tastings, and toured the scenic roads surrounding Boquete with picturesque vistas. Every activity was thoughtfully guided and incredibly well run.||The food was delicious. Each meal offered local flavors and the setting—with a grand view of Volcán Barú —was unforgettable.||For us, Los Establos struck the perfect balance: luxurious yet authentic, energizing yet peaceful. We have never spent a vacation like that at the resort. It exceeded every expectation, and we’re already planning our return.||Highly recommended—five stars without hesitation.

. I was there with my family from July 7, 2025 to July 17, 2025. The hotel is in a beautiful location. The grounds and the rooms are beautiful and very well kept. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food was awesome. Happy hour was a favorite time for my family to get together. We danced and played games. The atmosphere was so friendly and light. It felt like being in a family member’s home. The activities on and off the resort were very well planned the people who led and guided them wore awesome as well. I look forward to going back again.
