Los Flamingos Hotel

Hotel Flamingos is a charming place with a peaceful atmosphere. It is a good option for people who want to relax away from the city noise, it's really tranquil The rooms are spacious,they have we'll maintained bathrooms and there are balconies in many rooms where you can enjoy the sunset. The outdoor pool is clean and open all year. Also has free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and bar, and offers 24-hour reception. The multilingual staff is friendly and always ready to help. I also liked the free parking, which was very convenient. I really enjoyed my stay. It was a memorable experience and great value for money. I highly recommend it for a calm and relaxing vacation.

I visited the Hotel Los Flamingos during a stop in Acapulco during my first cruise/transit of the Panama canal. Of most interest was the background history of owners John Wayne and Johnny Weissmuller (Tarzan) amongst many others, the memorabilia, the ownership which passed to one of the staff pictures side by side with John Wayne (he was there when we visited). High on the cliffs it offers great views, and little paths down to cliffside overlooks. A bush in the garden is sculpted to look like Cheetah (the Chimpanzee from the Tarzan movies), and it is possible to rent the 7 bedroom 'round house' bungalow hidden away on the property. A lot of fun to visit. I have no idea what a stay would be like as we did a day tour.

I just have to say, I went with my whole family and we had previously revered a specific amount of rooms. When we got there, there were not enough rooms and we actually had to wait for some rooms to become available and that was quite embarrassing. The only good thing was the view and the pool.

An historical hotel that is over its peak. In the past many Hollywood celebrities stayed here but today the place is quite neglected and not gery welcoming. However, the views from the hotel are great

We came here as part of a tour, so didn't stay at the hotel. Had a yummy cocktail with a freshly opened coconut that was enough for two of us. The view was stunning and well shaded. I could see how it's a romantic spot.

With links to the Hollywood stars of the 50’s this hotel still excludes the glamour of its prestigious past. ||Yes maybe in parts it’s showing its age but this stands as one of the most comfortable hotels i’ve stayed in. ||Everything you could want is here, history, comfort, the most beautiful pool and staff who are so friendly and helpful.||The views are fantastic from all over the hotel and the restaurant is a must visit. ||A step back in time and one that i hope to take again as soon as possible.

Love the bar. Best view of the sunset in the city! We had the Acapulco style ceviche and some beers. Great time. A step back into the history and golden era of Acapulco. At one time this was the hottest spot for Hollywood stars. A must see stop on a trip.

This is the restaurant that time forgot. You're on top of the hill, looking out on a breathtaking view of the ocean from high above, with ancient waiters who've worked there since they were teenagers. It's a living history lesson. It's wonderful, cheap. Ambience is everything here. They even have raccoons.
