Los Girasoles

We loved this hotel! The staff was very friendly. The rooms were small but very comfortable and you can't beat the price. We loved how close it was to downtown and we loved how we could walk almost anywhere we wanted to go. Neither me or my husband speaks Spanish and I felt very safe as an American at this hotel.

Small hotel in a residential corner, about 15 minutes from the ADO terminal in Cancun. The hotel staff is lovely and warm, and the neighbourhood felt safe as a solo traveler.

A clean, quiet, convenient budget hotel. Reception staff --Jose Luis, Ricardo, and Edgar-- were exceeding nice. Two outdoor spaces in front of the hotel; one pleasant, semi-enclosed patio off the dining room. Inexpensive bkfst on site. A/C worked. Located equidistant to public transportation and the Plaza Palapas.||One possible drawback: hotel is located 2 blocks from a major street. Walking from the street to the hotel, you pass occupied and abandoned homes, and an empty overgrown lot. The area has a deserted look to it. If you are single, you might not like this short wall; however, I stayed 3 nights without encountering problems.

I stumbled upon this awesome hotel in Cancun, and it feels just like home. It's a stone's throw from shops, and getting around is a breeze. The best part? It's budget-friendly and secure. The air conditioning and wifi are top-notch, and the beds look like they were just unwrapped. The rooms are immaculate, and I'm already planning my next visit.

The rooms are as advertised and comfortable. Room service comes daily and does a great job of keeping things clean and tidy. The pricing is great, especially for the location it's in as well. Speaking of location, it's very central and there's always Ubers nearby. You're not far from beaches and a lot of restaurants. There's also breakfast which is a good value and it's tasty!

My friend & I stayed here and felt very safe and comfortable as two young women. The staff is very nice and helpful, the A/C works perfectly and you have a remote to control it, and the room was quiet large. Definitely recommend!!! I will stay here again whenever I come back to Cancun. Gracias, Los Girasoles!!!

The accommodation was pleasant, the rooms were clean and well equipped. Helpful staff. He even helped us arrange a taxi to the airport. The night was noisy, but that was not the hotel's problem, but its surroundings

I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cancun. Very friendly staff and 24hour reception for any of your needs. Clean and spacious rooms, well managed. The restaurant in the hotel serves breakfast which is 4-5$ for any combination and tastes really good. The location is a little off the main downtown but they have stores nearby to get things and uber/didi does the work to take you to different places.
