Los Mandarinos Boutique Spa and Hotel

My stay at Los Mandarinos was a pleasant surprise, thanks to its stunning grounds and pristine condition. The hotel’s elegance was a highlight, making for a serene retreat. While the beauty of the hotel met our expectations, the customer service had room for improvement. Staff seemed undertrained, notably in guest communication, initial welcome and offering assistance with luggage. These areas didn’t quite match the hotel’s aesthetic excellence. Despite this, the overall experience was positive. A bit more focus on staff training could elevate Los Mandarinos to truly embody its four-star rating. It’s a place with great potential, and I look forward to seeing how it evolves. Recommended for those appreciating beauty and hoping for service to match in the future.

We were here for spring break April, 2024 with a group of 7 including teenagers. |The rooms were spacious and immaculate clean: the pools were absolutely gorgeous.|The property is green and lush.|Our disappointment was food. Breakfast- which was included- was mediocre, and if you come late they don’t replenish the options. In a country filled with delicious tropical fruits, all they had was watermelon. We also felt cheated because the weekend breakfast was bigger, but during weekdays is much less. The restaurants are just ok.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. It is very beautiful and the grounds are lovely. We enjoyed the pool. There are two pools. One is heated. The breakfast spread was varied and plentiful. The room was very nice. The bathroom was roomy. There several sitting areas around the property to relax and enjoy the beautiful location. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful well kept hotel.|Staff is friendly although check in process is a bit cumbersome. Don’t forget your passport, they don’t accept any other form of ID. ||Rooms are spacious and clean, nice views, clean swimming pool, lovely breakfast area and good variety of food. Just a lovely place.

The property is lovely but our room, a jr suite, needed a refresh. 3 hangers. The furniture was mix and match shabby. Registration staff was put out when I begged for a second key. There was a kids camp and a wedding that dominated the property. Still probably the best offered in En Valle and the view is beautiful.

This is a great hotel to spend a day or few days the land scaping ground is just beautiful I will diffidently would like to go back again. But only if they pave the road leading up to the hotel the road almost damage my car because so many pot holes to deal with, and with such a beautiful hotel why can't they put together and get the lane paved leading up to their entrance it sure was a pain coming to the hotel and when I had to leave until they look after their awful pot holes lane of a road and I will come back.

Nice place in a beautiful and different part of Panama. Great for a getaway that must have outdoor activities. If you're not a local you will need a guide and transport to get to the places that are worthwhile. Hot and humid but bearable. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The restaurant (O'Pedros Pub) is good and Lourdes (right next door) is very good. However, going out to town is suggested. Don't settle for staying put at the hotel.

Amazing stay! Highly recommend. We stayed 2 nights and went hiking in the area and just relaxed. Pools are really nice and restaurants on site. Even a half basketball court and pickleball.
