We’ve been to this spot at least 10 times and have ordered in several times too. We keep coming back because the food is consistently good, the menu is inclusive for various dietary preferences, and it’s an easy, reliable choice for a group.
The Good:
- The fusion of Mexican and Japanese cuisine served tapas-style makes dining interesting, yummy and easy. You can go heavy or light depending on your mood
- The sauces—both on the dishes and on the side—are genuinely delicious
- If you get a good table, the vibes are great
- The menu is great across brunch, lunch, and dinner with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Also everything is gluten-free!
- For delivery, the packaging is smart - Food arrives in great shape with no sogginess
The Not-So-Good:
- Some dishes can be hit-or-miss—dry at times or undercooked (especially tempura items).
- Portions are quite small relative to the price. It’s definitely pricey!
- Seating can be a gamble. Some tables are great (downstairs near the sliding doors or upstairs away from the stairs), while others aren’t the best - especially the one that shares a wall with the restroom (which opens directly into the dining area)
