The good: The hotel is in a convenient location with nice views and direct beach access. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable, providing a straightforward stay.|The bad: The hotel enforces a strict ‘no outside food’ policy, with a $100 fine per violation, citing ‘chemical safety.’ This rule, not disclosed at booking, is incompatible for corporate flight crews requiring flexibility for obtaining their crew meals the day before departure or after-hours arrival. On our first night, we brought food to the common area after walking to a pizzeria in the rain, only to be told by reception to eat outside, which was unreasonable and rude. The employee then questioned a coworker about reading the check-in terms and whether he always signs without reading, which came across as dismissive. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing for the amount of money we paid for our stay. The selection was minimal, and basic items like butter were unavailable most of the time. When I asked for butter I was told 'no'. When I brought up the issue to the front desk I was told there is a butter shortage. This explanation of a ‘shortage’ was inconsistent with what we observed in supermarkets. Your best alternative for a very good and fulfilling breakfast is Tante Sara and it is just a short walk down the street. These issues created an unwelcoming environment for our 12-night stay and we would not return for future trips.

Absolutely fabulous location with 180 degrees panorama view over the Beagle Channel. Additional direct access to the bay. You will be appreciated as a guest. The bedding is excellent. The room maids do a fantastic job. The restaurant is quite basic but good quality, maybe a bit expensive. But overall: very good value for money.

Los Ñires in Ushuaia offers a blend of advantages and significant drawbacks that could impact your stay. On the positive side, the hotel boasts stunning views from its central yard, a highlight for guests seeking a scenic experience. The beds are comfortable, ensuring quality rest, and the inclusion of power banks for international travelers is a thoughtful feature. Additionally, the hotel provides reliable transportation into the city center at scheduled times, making it convenient for exploring the area. Unfortunately, the negatives overshadow the positives. The hotel enforces a strict no food or drink policy with a hefty $100 fine for infractions, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. This policy seems designed to drive guests to the on-site restaurant, which has a limited menu and pales in comparison to the city center’s dining options. On our first night, after a 10-hour flight, we were forced to eat rain-soaked pizzas outside due to this rigid rule, with staff offering no understanding of the situation. The justification of chemical safety felt insincere and more like a ploy for restaurant sales. Adding to the discomfort, the walls are paper-thin, and it’s easy to hear your neighbors throughout the night, making restful sleep a challenge. The staff were not particularly warm or proactive, often glued to their computers and leaving guests to initiate every interaction. Breakfast was also a disappointment, with frequent shortages that were not seen elsewhere in the city. Fortunately, Tante Sara, a nearby restaurant, offered a reliable alternative for meals. While the hotel does offer dependable WiFi and scenic views, the combination of restrictive policies, lackluster dining, unwelcoming service, and noise disturbances makes Los Ñires less suitable for travelers seeking comfort and flexibility, particularly for those on tight schedules like flight crews.

The hotel is Perfect, the room bads are perfect for a long rest, the amenities are great. The restaurant with in the hotel is 10/10 and the staffs are 💯💯. The views are unbelievable we can see Chile side of the mountains from the room 💯💯. There is also the small hike to the beach that it's really good to do ! If you want a great place to stay in ushuaia, Los Ñires is the right choice !!!

Fantastic location. From room one can see snow laden peaks of Andies and from lobby water bodies. Food is so good. Loved corn starch and lamb roast. Staff very cooperative. It is an unforgettable experience. I don't remember more scenic dining hall of any hotel I have visited so far.

Get away from the busy Ushuaia city scene for a quiet and beautiful spot, and only an Uber away from downtown or the airport.

I enjoy my stay here. The short work to the beach with a spectacular view. Although a little far away from the pier but with free shuttle and reasonable price taxi, there is not an issue. Breakfast is simple but good enough for me.

The hotel was ok. You will need to utilize taxis to get to the downtown area and back as the shuttle only runs at a few scheduled times. The rooms are a bit tired and need maintenance. The breakfast was good. We would have preferred to stay downtown as we spent more of our time there. Overall though it was pleasant enough. The views are great!
