Everything was absolutely great. We got 7 moles to try for free and the food and service were brilliant. But the price was simply too high. There are other, same quality Moles restaurants in town that are half the price. I guess the mole tasting experience is what makes it worth it though.

Absolutely the best mole experience here. It’s a lovely family business and the grandpa definitely made an awesome job bringing his wife’s best recipes to the restaurant. We tasted the 7 amazing moles and it was hard to pick 3 for our main dish since all of those were equally unique and tasty! Oh wow it was good!!! When I asked, the mezcal was recommended with the main dish and it was also the best mezcal I had on this trip. Although I’m not a dessert person but the dish similar to crème brûlée was something I want to eat every day. Thank you for all the recommendations! I’d be so sad if I went home without trying those. I’ll definitely be coming back here to eat more of amazing moles in my 10days stay here. Super delicious and made me so happy! The service here was beyond excellent and friendly. Perfect English was spoken too!

Good food, and great service. We had sampler appetizer, black mole chicken, and rice with fried banana. We weren't sure if the tortillas were 100% organic good quality. Overall, We enjoyed the meal.

We went for dinner Saturday evening about 45 minutes before they closed. We were greeted and asked if we had a reservation, I told the server that I didn’t realize we needed one and he said it was fine and that we had 45 minutes. I did feel he came off a little rude and seemed irritated and I usually don’t go anywhere that close to closing time but we had to try the place out. There were actually two other tables there when we arrived and we actually finished and left before they did. I do think he was nicer once we were seated. The bring out a sampler of the moles they offer and explain each one and have you try them. This was great because we knew we would like exactly what we got. The pork portion was small but chicken was good. Overall I would come back, everything was tasty.

If you’ve always wanted to try moles, please Los Pacos is not to be missed. They have the 7 moles samplers that you can try on the house. And if you end up liking more than 1 you can opt for the 2-3 moles with 2-3 proteins with rice and plantains as a meal, caution this is definitely slightly more than 1 persons portion but it’s oh so good! It comes with more tortillas for you to soak up the rest of the moles! Love the food here! Don’t miss this place!

Everything was delectable - from service to the last bite of dessert. Definitely recommend early on during a trip in Oaxaca to try the free mole sampler where they patiently explain (in English!) all the different modes. Mix and match to your liking. 11/10.

Miguel, our waiter provided excellent service. His food and drink recommendations were on point. We have ate in Oaxaca all week and this by far provided the best mole-we had the sampler and took advantage of the multiple moles. Laura, the owner graciously welcomed us and joined us for a picture. This is a proud family establishment.

Details, where to start...Above and beyond!!! Everything delicious!! No wonder why American chefs choose to come to Oaxaca. Desserts, mole Chihilo which taste is interesting, margarita was refreshing and service was attentive and professional. I just hope, I got offered the different moles, other than that, we was pleased and greatful for such of gastronomic experience.
