Los Patios Hostel Boutique - The Best Hostel Medellin

Staff were fantastic, so helpful. Beds were comfortable and private with good amount of storage. However the noise was so bad from the bar that I couldn’t sleep until it closed every night (11.30/12 every night! We were there Monday to Saturday). The windows have no insulation. The shower door was broken on the fifth floor bathroom so kept soaking the bath mat, no one seems to have noticed. One bathroom per floor is insane. I know there were en-suites but people from inside dorms would also use the bathroom, and staff, and visitors to the rooftop. I had to go up and down the stairs one morning trying to find a free bathroom and they were all occupied. Not good enough considering the price. Lots of activities which seemed good, the food tour with Christian was excellent

Great hostel in Medellín! The place is clean and the location is good. It felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Very social and attracts a great group of people, but also has places to chill away from the crowds. They also have a rooftop pool at their other location around the corner to use. The staff is amazing and they have a ton of events. Cristian did the cooking and cocktail-making classes and was a blast! Highly recommend the bar hops.

This hostel has everything you could ask for. But most importantly, it has very social, helpful and friendly staff. Fray helped us learn Spanish in a playful way and is an absolutely great addition to the Los Patios staff. All of the staff brought their own personalities, energy and vibe to the hostel. This made for a memorable stay. Social activities were also a big plus!

I visited Los Patios for a long weekend. I highly recommend this place. The personal was very friendly, social and helpful. The rooms and facilities are great, lots of activities and great place to meet a lot of people. And a special thanks to the reception for the organization of my Birthday, they really made me feel special. And definitely don’t miss the evening activities, we had some great parties at Los Patios thanks to Archangel who brings a lot of good energy to his work.

I had a such a great time. The staff was wonderful. Stephany, Ana, Isabella, Carlos, Archa, and the rest of the crew worked so hard to create a great vibe. As a colombian visiting for the first time, it was excellent staying here. I’m really happy about all the international friends I made. Everyone really was there to have a good time. I appreciate the experience and look forward to visiting again soon.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good service via WhatsApp chat for all needs. Rooms were fine: not much room and the sink is in the room so a bit loud but not too much noise from the street. Good location with lots of bars and restaurants right nearby in the next streets. Positives were a gym and small rooftop pool.

Fab hostel! The rooms are very clean, the staff is great, they’re very helpful. The showers have great pressure and they’re hot. The kitchen is good but it is quite small. The rooftop is very good, they have lots of socials on. I would recommend!

Great location with excellent people working there. Fray was one that gave me a notebook to learn spanish too. Thanks so much! Only feedback I would have is a working AC in the dorms. I will come back to medellin and will stay in Los Patios and would recommend others to do as well!
