Los Patios Hostel Boutique - The Best Hostel Medellin

The best hostel I stayed at in 6 months in South America. Spotlessly clean, reliable WiFi reaching all areas, amazing common facilities including the best equipped kitchen I’ve seen in a hostel, even a mini-gym. Beds were comfy, dorms are spacious and quiet, Location is great right in Manila, staff were super helpful. Was very social in the kitchen and bar and on the organised activities so was easy to make friends as a solo traveller. I extended my stay here and didn’t want to leave.

Los Patios is by far the best hostel I’ve ever visited. The staff goes above and beyond, the activities are high quality, and it’s easy to meet other travelers. There were also plenty of other people working remotely during the day. Cristian was a great host, amazing chef and provided a lot of insights on Colombia. Julián is also a great Spanish teacher and I was able to improve my skills with his lessons. I came back to visit even after my stay ended. 10/10. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Los Patios Hostel in Medellín! The rooms were comfortable, and equipped with great lockers for added security. We especially loved the balcony, where we could relax and take in the views. The atmosphere in the hostel was vibrant and social, which made it easy to meet fellow travelers. The rooftop area is fantastic, complete with a pool and stunning city views. There were also fun activities like the Commune 13 tour, which was a highlight of our trip, and the bus party, a great way to party and explore the city with other guests. The location of the hostel is perfect, making it easy to get to Provenza in the evening. Highly recommend it if you’re visiting Medellín!

Visiting the patios was my best decision, its people and its spaces were gratifying. I don't really like going out to party, but I saw a party tour in Commune 13 led by Juan and Felipe on Sunday, where we met a lot of good people, a great atmosphere and a very good history that we learned a lot from the guides. If you come to Medellin, I recommend this party tour in Commune 13 with Juan and Felipe. 10 out of 10

This is my second time staying here. I really enjoyed the place. The café and especially the Rooftop bar staff Ana, Camilo,Annibal & Jesus. Daily activities, great kitchen. The only dislike was the glass door to the balcony is single pane so you could hear the road noise. However, they did supply earplugs in my room. I highly recommend staying here. I will return! 🙏🏽👋🏽🤞🏽☺️

Words can't even describe how great the vibe is here. The staff is amazing and so much fun! I love the dance classes and events. Shoutout to the best bartender in town Jonas you rock!!!

Perfect! Pool, gym, shared kitchen, fans, supper clean, co-working spaces, computers you can use- the facilities just go on! Super nice and varied vibes of chilled on one level, a good place to work on another, and party on another- you can choose what you want. The rooms were great and ours had a view of the city too. If you don’t get that lucky, we’ll just go to the rooftop! The staff, you can tell, are really happy working there- so actively pleasant and helpful. There is also loads to get involved in here- organised by the hostel and generally just in the area. Would totally recommend.

Great set of activities and proactive staff that plans a full set of activities each day. Had some room issues with A/C and the safe, but the maintenance team resolved the safe issue and actively tried to address the A/C issue. Walkable to Provenza and the other Poblado hotspots. However, make sure to ask where the room you're staying at will be. We stayed on the fifth floor by the street and the soundproofing against both the outside noise and the rooftop was horrible, with noise at an unsleepable level until ~11 pm on thursday and midnight on Friday. Not recommended for light sleepers.
