Los Pinos - Cabañas & Reserva

We only stayed here one night but could have easily stayed here a week! Our room, or cabana rather, was very beautiful and private. We were all able to have our own room, bathroom, and shared a large kitchen/sitting area. For all the amenities that were available it was definitely reasonably priced! Sitting outside and having coffee in the hammock was the perfect start to our day. The property itself was also beautiful and they had well maintained trails in the back. There was a lot of wildlife — all you had to do was step out the front door!

Incredible experience and stay. The property is beautiful and the rooms were exactly what we needed for our girls trip! we had coffee every morning overlooking beautiful landscape. We made a delicious salad using herbs and lettuce that we picked from the hydroponic garden on the property. Stunning trails throughout the grounds as well!

Los Pinos was my favorite place we stayed in Costa Rica. The staff are wonderful! They really made us feel so welcome, and they were extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful with setting up excursions. ||The property is beautiful, and the cabins are tucked away in the woods so it is very serene, private, and quiet. Cabins are very clean and well kept. ||We loved the location and walkability around Monteverde. There are several restaurants just down the street, as well as a bank, bakery, and market. There are nice sidewalks throughout town, and it has a very safe, walkable feel. ||Big thanks to Marlene and Ana for making our trip so special. We love Los Pinos!

We stayed here for 2 nights but could have easily stayed longer the room is clean and if you wanted to cook you could easily do so but we chose to eat out the concierge gave us recommendations to restaurants that were delicious and in walking distance!! We walked the small trail though the green houses and saw lots of birds and had a beautiful over look. We didn't have to go far to see nature it's well maintained and beautiful they use eco friendly products and sustainable ways of running a hotel we truly appreciated it! It was a fantastic stay we would come back for sure!

This is a well run environmentally aware place to stay with beautiful lodges in the rain forest, trails around the area and close to Monteverde village. The staff are really friendly a much welcome and efficient laundry service offered.|The reception were able to book our guided trips up to the hanging bridges which enabled us to see wildlife we wouldn't otherwise have seen . The guides are extremely knowledgeable about the origins of the cloud forest, the ecosystems that differ between primary and secondary rainforest and explained how climate change will affect the cloud forest in the next few years

This was our third stay at Los Pinos. We find it to be a relaxing and beautiful environment, and I especially like that we can get some fresh herbs and vegetables from the hydroponic gardens at the top of the property. The grounds are beautiful and if take the trail to the top of the property there is a lookout deck with an incredible view.||This time we were in Cabin 12. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. ||The kitchenette is well-equipped — two plate induction burners; coffee pot; toaster oven; electric frying pan, rice cooker and good sized fridge. And, the knives are actually sharp! (Not always the case in rental places!) After 4 weeks of traveling it is nice to just eat in for some meals vs going out. I got a big bunch of green leaf lettuce, mint, cilantro, and chives from the hydroponic gardens to use with our meals.||This cabin has a deck out front with picnic table, hammock, hammock chair and chairs. It was a relaxing spot at the end of the day, and we had coatis wander through, and Lesson’s Mot Mots perch outside the cabin.||The people are simply the best. Everyone is so helpful and friendly, and I like that by staying here we are supporting a locally owned place.

This was the perfect place to stay in Monteverde. Our cabin had three bedrooms and baths, a kitchen, covered porch with a hammock, and was walking distance to the grocery, many restaurants and shops. The walking trails on the property are a great added bonus where we saw lots of birds and wildlife. It’s not fancy, but perfectly simple.

Serene. Quaint. Romantic. Classy. Amenities. WI-FI (great!). These are just a few words to describe this 'hotel' which is a group of individual living units. Packed with All the conveniences of home. Great! We decided that we could live in our cabin for the next 20 years!! The decor is perfect, the scenery is beautiful! Great shower, tasteful decorations, clean, quiet, and overall a wonderful experience! Super location, walking distance (really) to restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and more. Great location for day trips! We'll be back! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
