Barcelona Itinerary: How to Spend 3-5 days here in 2025

Google
This was our first flamenco show in Barcelona. Although the Flamenco is not native to Catalonia, the performers are extremely talented and passionate. You can tell they are putting their hearts into it and are enjoying themselves. I highly recommend a visit to this establishment. Ticket prices are very reasonable and it's in a great location.

It’s always great to watch live dance shows. Flamenco was astonishing and a beautiful way to connect with Spanish culture. The performers were amazing, especially the guitarist—absolutely incredible. Highly recommended if you’re in town!

Google
Watching a flamenco show is recommended. If you travel to the southern cities of Spain, you will definitely find better options, but if you are in Barcelona and don’t want to spend too much, this place can be a good choice. The group is talented, with beautiful dance, music, and singing. The only downside is that the venue is very small and the chairs are uncomfortable for sitting too long.

Google
This was part of a Get Your Guide tour - approx 40 min of dancing with a guitar solo included. The dancing couple were a mismatch since she was in her late 60’s & he was probably in his late 20’s. It was very odd to see them together & although she gave it her all, she was not the typical dancer I was expecting.

Google
Very fund experience although shorter than I would have liked (but only because I was enjoying it so much). The performers were very talented and their voice, facial expressions and rhythm carried throughout the room. There are no assigned seats so arrive early to nab a good seat and view. We arrived 5 mins before showtime and only 2 of 4 of us were able to sit (at the side on bar stools - still an unobstructed view though). Would return to bring someone who's never seen flamenco before

Google
An amazing flamenco experience right in the heart of Barcelona! The show is vibrant, passionate, and full of energy, with talented dancers, singers, and guitarists. The intimate setting makes you feel connected to the performers, creating a truly unforgettable evening. Perfect for anyone wanting to experience authentic Spanish culture.

Google
Great show, right by La rambla, great dancing and music. Would really recommend to see. Is worth it.

Google
An incredible show with lots of passion and talent. What a pleasure to be able to be apart of this experience. Tickets were really accessible online and drinks were delicious!

Yelp
Fun place to pass through to catch a Flamenco show! Quick and easy $25 for a 30 minute show!

Yelp
Why 4 stars? Because seeing a Flamenco show felt like something we had to do. --- --- --- My wife was in Barcelona for work, and then I joined a few days later. When I was still at home, she texted me and asked, "Do you want to go to a Flamenco show on Wednesday night? Lol." (She's an over-lol'er) This was a question I'd never considered in my life, and had to Google exactly what a Flamenco show was. I figured it would like going to a luau in Hawaii, so I signed off on the idea. It was a lot more tapping than what I imagined. I was envisioning more along the lines of a woman doing a lot of twirling with a big dress, but I was definitely impressed with the skills of the performers. It definitely looked like it took a ton of energy. And while we could not understand a word they were saying, we liked how authentic the main dancers were. We truly believed they were in a lover's quarrel with each other in real life. I guess we'll never no, but my final answer is: yes. As a part of the experience, we were sent next door for food and drinks that came with the purchase of the ticket. The food was just okay, but I was pretty stuffed coming into this, so I was content with just one bite of everything. The sangria was great, though! FYI: they start promptly at the time listed on the ticket. We walked in one minute late and it was already underway.

Yelp
Fantastic! If you want to get a taste of Flamenco, see this show. It's lively and gets the heart pumping. It's a powerful performance. We were a few minutes late and they still let us in (Thankfully). Because we were late, we stood in the back near the bar. I'm short and could still see fine so it wasn't an issue. Plus, it's a short performance so it's not like you are standing for hours. I highly recommend NOT being late since the show is only about 40-45 minutes. Our ticket also included a drink which we were able to get in between the sets. Easy to find in the Gothic Quarter... at the Placa Reial. (It's about a 10-minute walk from the Kimpton Vividora to give you some idea of distance.) Our ticket was 25euros and the seating is first come, first serve. The lineup starts before each show so get there early if you care where you sit.

Yelp
Great flamenco show with two dancers and two musicians. The show I attended was 40 minutes long and cost around 20 euros pp. i enjoyed the music and dancing they had to offer. There's a bar with drinks for purchase as well. Seating is one a first come, first service basis.

Yelp
We really wanted to have a Flamenco experience so we booked Tarantos last minute. It was pretty fun and different, but I don't think it was worth the price. I would look around more for other options. Full Barcelona itinerary on www.losang-elysse.com

Yelp
Such an adorable shoe file for a great price. The voice of the singer was amazing!! The guitar is captivating. Recommend!

Yelp
We were recommended by some locals to check out Tarantos for a flamenco show. Compared to other places, this place was a steal! We got our tickets for only 15€. A lot of other establishments will charge you at least 40€. We were so lucky bc we came on a night when the famous El Yiyo y El Tete performed. I have no words to express how phenomenal this show was! Watching the brothers perform literally took my breath away. They performed with so much passion and emotion, that chills went down my whole entire body. The live music was also fantastic! The musicians captivated the audience with the beautiful sounds. I could literally sit there for hours and listen. Just a heads up, if you want a good seat, make sure you get there early bc the line tends to get long!

Yelp
The flameco performance here was recommended and tickets offered by our tour group, Free Walking Tours Barcelona. We figured it would be touristy, which it was, but went for it anyway. There are 4 showtimes during the summer tourist season (3 during the off-tourist season) on the half hour starting at 730PM, each lasting about 30-40 min. We chose the 730PM so we could find a place to eat dinner after the show. We arrived a little less than 1 min before showtime and about of the seats were taken. Womp womp. My understanding was our tour group would save us seats, but nope. Get there early, seats are first come first served. The seats toward the back aren't as good but it's a small venue so it's not terrible. As mentioned in another review, the first show is a warm up. They don't tell you this, but it makes sense. The first 5-10 min were spent listening to the guitar and people warming up their vocal cords. Fortunately, the performance improved in the last two sets and I got more into it than I expected. Unfortunately, once I was feeling it, it ended. They clear out the entire venue after each show so not sure how one reviewer said you could stay for another one, but you could ask before you leave. At 15€ per person, it's an inexpensive way to see and experience flamenco while in Barcelona. Just make sure to book a later time for a better performance.

Yelp
The show itself was much more simple than I anticipated, with one female dancer (without the castenettes), one guitarrist, two vocalists, and one percussionist. I learned that the castennetes are not typical and the red dresses that we often see and associate with flamenco are. It necessarily a critical part of the tradition as the dancing and music. We learned first hand what Flamenco is supposed to be. The setting here is small and much more intimate and allowed us to appreciate just how amazing the dancing is. So much passion! The voices were absolutely phenomenal and the dancers, both Suzanne and Juan, were so talented. I could not believe how fast they could move their feet. We looked around for a great Flamenco experience but some of them were just so expensive. This was only 15 Euro per person and such an incredible value.

Yelp
We wanted to have a flamenco experience but didn't want to be locked in for whatever meal would be included at other places. We found this show on TripAdvisor and found an early show at 8:30 that allowed us to go eat nearby after the show, We opted for just the show tickets, though you can also get a drink or meal as well. The show started with some Flamenco guitar and singing, from a guitarist, two vocalists, and a persuasionist, Then a couple of dancers took the stage, with each taking their turn. They entertained us, dancing and singing for nearly 45 minutes, and we greatly enjoyed their passionate performance. For a fun Flamenco experience in Barcelona, check out this show.

Yelp
5 musicians, including 2 guitarists, 2 singers, and a guy beating the box for bass. All very good. 2 Lady dancers. Thought they were good, just nothing to compare to. Show is a script, 30 minutes, and I'm sure ends the same 'unexpected' way asking for a tip. Wednesday night, about 10 of us watching. Glad I saw a Flamenco show whilst there, just wish it was a bit more grandiose.

Yelp
The show is fantastic and worth the trip BUT it is only only a half hour long. I went with a wedding group as a pre-arranged ticket and would have loved to have known how short the show was in advance. Our show started late and was cut short by the lead dancer (probably to keep everything on time). The audience and even the musicians seemed surprised when he called for the finish. The singers and dancers are first class but I wish the show would have lasted at least a half hour if not an hour. They move guests out quickly after each show and turn it over so they can perform 3-4 shows each night.

Yelp
Bought through my guide during the Sandeman's walking tour for 15€. The dancing was wonderful -- just wish there was a lot more of it. The show was very short, and most of it was singing/rhythm (the singing was also great). I was surprised when the lights suddenly came up after maybe 30 min and the place was quickly cleared out. I would estimate that 10 minutes tops of the show actually involved dancing, which was disappointing. The space is intimate, although it was a shame the bench seating made it hard for me to see the stage.

Yelp
I cant remember exactly how much we paid each but it was definitely much more affordable than any flamenco show I've been to in the past. I was drawn to this as it was only a 30 minute slot and with my brother not being particularly keen on such things I thought it would suit us all. He ended up loving it! The venue is very intimate and the stage isn't really big enough for the dancers and the band but you still get a good show out of it. The vocals of the band are probably more impressive than the dancers! If you fancy a taste of Spanish dance, song and guitar at an affordable price then this is a no brainer. Located on a beautiful, lively square just off Las Rambla it's easy to find and surrounded by bars and restaurants so you can easily make a night of it. I ordered the 1551 Codorniu cava and a chap at the bar gave me a thorough lesson on the history of the house and the wine itself, he happened to be an off duty tour guide! It's made by the oldest wine house in Spain and tasted delicious. I've since found out you can buy it here in most supermarkets, Yipee!

Yelp
Tourist trap. I paid 17 Euro for the 30 minutes show and it ends exactly 30 minutes, no more. Over 1/2 are singing, singing, and singing. Where is the expected dance part? Sorry only a guy dance for a song, a lady dance for 1/2 song. Go back and watch youtube with a beer! Save the $$. Most things in Gothic Quarter are tourist traps. The La Rambla outdoor dining places even charges me 5.5 Euro for a Spirit! They thought they are Four Seasons....
google avatar

Wei-Ping L.

Yelp
10 euros if you didn't buy it online and print out the ticket first. You would also have to wait for all the ticket holders to go in first then get a standing room only spot for the show. We didn't want to have to come back another evening so we sucked it up and paid 20 euros for two of us. The over priced sangria (8 euro for half liter, no single glass available) was actually pretty tasty and gave my wife a nice buzz for couple hours. Small band of drums guitar flute bass and vocal performed several songs then the flamenco dancers joined. The dancers were skilled but the dancing wasn't spontaneous or passionate as I envisioned the style should be. I couldn't help but feel that these are overly commercialized talents. It's a good introduction to flamenco if you just want a little taste of it. Not recommended if you are a connoisseur of flamenco... or actually of dancing in general.

Yelp
If you want to sit down, get there early. If you're short, get up front. This place is small, which some will call intimate, which i say fills seats fast!! Plus there's those weirdos that want to video everything and their stupid big phones can get in the way of the performance if you're not big enough. But the show. Oh the show..... Amazing. Passionate. Beautiful. The intimacy of the venue is what makes it great, seeing the interaction of the performers, being able to see the power in the singing, playing and dancing. It was 30 minutes but felt like 2 and 120 at the same time.

Yelp
Flamenco dancing and music in La Rambla is awesome! The price is right, the bar is full and the dancers are stunning! It's in the center with Pipa club, so hit them both when you're in Barcelona. GO!

Yelp
There a few things you have to know, but overall you CAN come here for some taste of flamenco. 1. Do NOT come to the first 7:30 pm show. This is he first one and usually not good. They are warming up - the sound is crap etc. the next show and the following are good. So come! 2. You CAN stay for more than one show (although they will not tell you that) and you probably should to get a real taste as the show is 30 min in total and actually it is basically 3 songs. Two of them are with dancing and one is a "break" where most of the performers leave the stage. 3. It IS a tourist trap of sorts but not necessarily in a bad way. Kind of like blue note is a tourist trap in New York. Good artists but somewhat of a conveyor belt. But if you follow rule number 2 above - you will have time to enjoy it.
google avatar

Adam K.

Yelp
What a great place! 30 minutes of Spanish guitar music, Flamenco dancing and a small intimate venue. All this for 8 Euro. I am so glad we chose to wait on line for the latest show at 10:30. All of Barcelona stays open late and we were able to have dinner after wards. This is a great treat, dint miss it,
google avatar

Jazzie F.

Yelp
Minor negative: The guy at the door made us wait in line w/ those that had tickets and then made us wait in another line to buy tickets, so we missed the 8:30 pm show. But we got tickets for 9:30 pm and the show was spectacular. I would recommend buying tickets online and just showing up with your smart phone. Waiting in line is a hassle. Also def show up early to get good seats. We had amazing seats.
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
Great short show for a fair price. Place fills up quickly so be sure to arrive early. We had the sangria but it was nothing exceptional. Show is 10 euro at the door and 8 euro if you purchase online.
google avatar

Lawrence C.

Yelp
Located in the heart of tourist trapped Ramblas I went in with really low expectations and came out feeling quite impressed. We paid 10 euro each and it was a great show for the money. As mentioned 30 min show with 4 member band and 2 flamenco dancers with the female as the star. She danced the first song then appeared for the last 10-15 mins so there are 2-3 songs with no dancing. You'll pay 4 times more other places so my advice if you don't know what to expect and dont wanna spend as much then check this show out. It fulfilled our Spanish flamenco/guitar fix
google avatar

Sydney N.

Yelp
Amazing performance!! The vocals the dancing the intimate atmosphere was out of this world. Definitely would watch the show again and recommend to friends!
google avatar

Vallerye A.

Yelp
Not super impressed. Very little actual dancing. The music was very good, but we were hoping for Flamenco dancing (as advertised) and not just singing. Just don't get your hopes up. Perhaps a good alternative to seeing a pricey, full show somewhere else, but just be aware that it's mostly just music.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Day 1 in Barcelona sorry you can get in in those shorts (look around 10 other people in shorts) Day 2 in Barcelona Sorry your friends drank a beer in line - she cant get in. Day 3 in Barcelona Rejects the people in fronts of us because they were not on guest list (non of the people in line was - they were just being assholes. I did not want to go after day 1, but hey friends wanted to go, so I go with them... Once inside they will ignore you if you like my friend is black, and serve you fast if you like me is pale. Also they play music well higher than what ever limits EU and/ Or Spain have But you get to pay 10€ to enter and 5€ for a beer and listen to rap , and nothing but loud rap, from a poor speaker setup that lacks base, but have plenty of middle tone and treble to aid you to a swift hearing loos.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
The venue was quiet, intimate, and casual. I decided to come here for the flamenco show, which boasted a live band of four individuals doing a mixture of playing the drums, vocalizing, and clapping in rhythm, as well as two passionate, fiery flamenco dancers. The show lasted slightly over half an hour and gave me a good idea of what to expect at a flamenco show--lots of dress twirls, hand flourishes, and quick stomping in time to the vocalizing and beats of the band. At 10 euros, this price couldn't be beat. I'm sure the show isn't as extravagant or impressive as the shows that cost upwards of 50 euros but I'm of the opinion that the half hour distraction was well worth the low price.
google avatar

Dahokolomoki Z.

Yelp
They show Flamenco every night here for 8 euros a person. But its a complete rip-off! Only half an hour long, and the dancing is not that good. The singing is though very impressed. The stage itself is so high up compared to the seats that its hard to see. It really is a tourist trap it might be cheap, but definitely not worth the money.
google avatar

Laura C T.

Yelp
Ventured in tonight for the 21:30 show. Highly recommend getting there more than 30 mins prior to get a good seat. Having a ticket in hand didn't give you line by pass. There's a different band and dancers every night. Saturday. For 8€ bought online one day in advance or 10 at the door you'll get a 30min live flamenco show. It's a cheap alternative to the big shows costing over 40€ per person. Was it authentic? I don't know. Probably more than I could even in Canada. Was it good? Yes except for 20 mins the male lead danced and was a long and awkward. I need to know more about flamenco and the styles to truly appreciate it. It feels short and nor satisfying. 30mins isn't a long time but you'll get your flamenco fix here. They say its better to watch in Madrid if you're going there.
google avatar

Lisa F.

Yelp
A good, quick show. Just enough to get a nice flavor of flamenco. My 7 year old daughter loved it. Easy going atmosphere.

Miguel S.

Yelp
Awesome experience. Passionate. Fast-paced. Powerful. Non-commercial, professional but casual Artists. Flamenco at its best. 15€ pp, 30 mins show (which is more than reasonable for this kind of show here). Drinks offered (somewhat pricy though).

Shirley W.

Yelp
Hubby and I were on our way to Jamboree and arrived early. The amazing receptionist convinced us to see the half hour flamenco show at Tarantos and it was amazing! Passionate Spanish Flamenco with the astounding musicians singers and dancers who loved their craft. We were blown away.
google avatar

Talia K.

Yelp
This was a really horrible performance. I don't know if it's like this every night, but the dancers danced for perhaps 4 minutes in total and had no rhythm. They sort of walked around the stage. The woman didn't even dance for more than a minute before sitting down and watching the man stumble around the stage.
google avatar

Brittany B.

Yelp
This place is a great first experience for a flamenco show! I had read the previous reviews and everything was correct expect for now tickets are $15 and there is no drink included in the price. We were there at 10:00 on a Sunday night and it wasn't packed, found seats easily. The group seemed to have fun performing together and the dancer was really into it! Can't wait to come back when we visit Barcelona again!
google avatar

Katie G.

Yelp
Amazing musicians and dancers make this place a MUST SEE in Barcelona! Especially for this price! I only wish it was a long show. It's only 30 minutes. Make sure to come 30 minutes early or you'll be standing along the side instead of sitting.

Daniel D.

Yelp
We booked this show last minute and were able to get tickets. We got there about 30 minutes early and got tickets up front. The show itself was a memorable experience: high energy, captivating and entertaining from the start. The show went a little over 30 minutes though it did start slightly late. People were seated before the show scheduled start time. I recommend getting there early. Come ready for an experience!
google avatar

Malcolm E.

Yelp
It's best to buy your ticket online ahead of time. Those that did got immediate access, which is a benefit since the space isn't very big and you will end up standing during the show if you're either way in the back of the queue to buy a ticket or you didn't arrive early (I believe they open the doors 30 minutes prior to the show). For €10 and 30-ish minutes, it'll do. I felt that it was authentic enough to say that I've seen a live flamenco show and the performers were really into it. Drink options at this place was okay. A bit pricey, but that is to be expected since this is in the one of the main plaças and it is very touristy.

Lauren R.

Yelp
While this flamenco show was certainly more affordable than others, I am not sure if it was worth it. Seemed like it was an off night. Very slow start to any dancing and seemed like the musicians were not on the same page with each other. Also seemed like the flamenco dancer missed one of her dances and the musicians were trying to cover for her. The percussionist also got up to leave the stage in the middle of the show at one point. C'mon, it's only a 30-minute show--very unprofessional. The seating was incredibly uncomfortable, even though it was a 30-minute show, my leg went entirely numb because of how awful the bench was. Definitely needed a cushion of some sort. I wish I had just paid more money to see a more professional flamenco show.

Ani S.

Yelp
HORRIBLE experience. I definitely do not recommend this. The people working the door were extremely rude when we were buying the tickets for the show they were speaking English very well but after couple hours when we needed some help they told us they don't speak English and at one point were yelling at us in Spanish. I went with my husband and daughter and would never go back. The show also only lasted half an hour when we were told it's an hour long show... Not worth the money at all. You can find more authentic shows in Barcelona, don't go here.
