We had dinner and an overnight stay here last weekend. We had a lovely experience. Great selection of drinks/gins at the bar, lovely cocktails. Dinner was outstanding, superb venison tartare. Our room was lovely and spacious. Very good breakfast too, so good not having to visit a buffet table and self serve - made all the difference to us. Delicious oatcakes! This was our first visit to Losehill but it definitely won’t be the last.

Everything about our stay was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious (especially the treacle bread!) and we were extremely well looked after. We had the spa to ourselves and it was a real treat to sit in the hot tub on a crisp December morning, looking out at the beautiful scenery. Staff were all absolutely lovely, as well as being incredibly competent. Highly recommend.

I recently visited Losehill Spa using a £175 Luxury Escape voucher that had been gifted to me. On the website, it clearly states that the experience includes three hours of spa use, but I was only given two hours, which was disappointing and felt misleading. I arrived early to enjoy my welcome drink before my treatment. The lady on reception told me to sit in the lounge area, but it was around 10 minutes before anyone spoke to me, and then another 10 minutes before my coffee arrived. I even saw my drink go past me at one point, as the new young staff member was being told how it needed to be served in a full glass with a saucer and spoon, which really isn’t something guests should be overhearing. After waiting all that time, the coffee finally arrived lukewarm. While I was waiting, it was also noticeable that some of the staff seemed more interested in discussing personal matters than attending to guests. I overheard a conversation about someone’s nan being poorly with Alzheimer’s and in hospital, which isn’t something guests should be hearing in what’s meant to be a calm, luxury environment. On a more positive note, lunch was lovely. The food was tasty, beautifully presented, and one of the highlights of the visit. Overall, the spa itself is lovely, but the service and professionalism fell short of expectations, especially given the price of the experience. Better organisation, guest focus, and attention to detail would make a big difference.

On the positive side the staff particularly those in the restaurant were really nice and helpful. Those on reception were also very helpful. We also liked the spa with the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi, though it was rather cold getting from the inside to the outside sauna and jacuzzi.||||Less positively, as we had brought our dog on the understanding that the hotel had dog friendly rooms, we felt that dog friendly meant being allocated to the annexe with a room that had a hard floor and felt rather cramped. There was also no drinks fridge. We felt that the bathroom could have had more shelving so that we had a place to put our toiletries and toiletry bag. Overall the room was comfortable but not outstanding and we felt that there could have been more facilities which catered for those with dogs.

Attended a wedding here and stayed the weekend. What a superb location and beautiful venue. Every detail is carefully catered to. The rooms were immaculate and facilities were of a very high standard. I had a mobility scooter this weekend and the hotel staff especially Millie managed my needs with patience and kindness. The wedding setting was so romantic and the view is gorgeous. Food was also delicious and to a high standard. Exceptional! Thankyou X

Absolutely beautiful venue hidden away in Hope Valley. We booked an overnight stay with spa treatments and a tasting menu. The staff were lovely and complete professionals. We had such a relaxing time and felt truly catered for - a perfect birthday treat. I would most definitely recommend to anybody.

Had a christmas lunch at Grafene. Fantastic food, impeccable service, beautiful scenery and bright and spacious dining room with lots of natural light. Serene, peaceful atmosphere, very friendly and relaxing whilst being a luxury, fine dining experience. We will back! Thank you.

We absolutely loved our short break at Losehill! The view alone was enough to rate this place highly, but the service we received from check-in to check-out, the exceptional facilities, and the delicious menu made it outstanding. It was such a luxurious experience, it was just difficult to balance time relaxing at the hotel with all the beautiful nature and villages to explore in the area! We hope to come back soon.

If you want to get away from it all you could do a lot worse than spend a few nights here. I had a long weekend booked for my birthday and it was glorious - pampered and preened for four days! Losehill House offers a quiet place to get away and relax, with massage and beauty therapies available when you need it, in beautiful surroundings and with great service. Although there isn't a gym there is a small pool and for those looking for some exercise there are some bracing walks nearby and around the Hope Valley. Even if you're not planning to stay in the hotel, you can still enjoy the treatments or book a table in the restaurant for lunch or dinner - most of the food is locally sourced and matches the high standards of the rest of the hotel. The cheeseboard was super-tasty, with Derbyshire oatcakes. Set in beautiful countryside and a short walk into the small village of Hope for local shops and pubs etc. If you are missing the city life and shopping (although why you would I don't know) it's only a short drive to Sheffield. I'd reccommend Losehill for anyone, especially urbanites, who need a day or two or 'me' time. It was lovely!
