Convenient location & friendly staff who rustled up fresh cooked dishes, with local & Western favourites on the menu at fair prices. Initially we'd planned an overnight stay but our plans changed, but staff at hotel deserve top marks for providing information promptly when you email. Come expecting a backpackers hangout in a remote town & you won't be disappointed

I only tried fried rice and french fries , but the french fries is absolutely delicious. The price is reasonable. Definitely will come back if i visit dieng again. Very good service also from the staff. They serve some local drink from tea , ginger to coffee. Unfortunately i only try hot tea. But they only have 4-5 table. In crowded holiday you will not get a table

Unfortunately, when we were here all of their rooms were booked, but if they weren't i definitely would have stayed here. ||The staff is incredible. We met Dwi you helped us find another great guesthouse to stay at and arranged our tours in Dieng for us. We went on an 11km sunrise and sightseeing tour with him. He is delightful. He is full of energy, stories, jokes, and knowledge. He taught us so much about his culture and was so giving to his community. He was always trying to help his friends and neighbors and sharing business. For example, he took us for a very delicious and local place for lunch. We were interested in another tour and he had his friend take us on that tour. It was so great being around such a giving and selfless individual. He really just wants the best for everyone. He is easily my most favorite person in Indonesia and his tours were the highlight of our trip in Java.||If you can't stay there you should definitely book your tours through them!

It supposed to be good, reading from all reviews... I tried their fried rice and tempe kemul. Found the food just ok. I forgot to take photo for its food 😅 Haha just have the menu and the vibe. Very near to my hotel - just across the road. The location is very strategic

I was passing by, only ate here. Their banana pancake is really delicious, bought a second serving after my hike. The rest of the menu is decently priced as well. Centrally located, and offers lodging. They offer guides for Mount Prau hiking, whom I hiked with.

If you are under the age of 25 and backpacking around SE Asia, and price is your biggest concern, then sure, this will do. But if you are over 25 and looking for a decent place to stay to enjoy Dieng Plateau, go somewhere else. The place is dirty, dumpy, smelly, and noisy. The saving grace is the staff who are very friendly and helpful. Also the availability of beer, which appears to be nowhere else in town. However, both of these things can be obtained by coming by for a beer and food in the evening. That is definitely advisable, as the staff (ask for Dwi) speak good english and will give all the info you need to hike around self-guided. If you are aiming for Gunung Prau, the trail can be accessed right behind Bu Djono's, so location is also good.

Great owner, guide service. Good breakfast. Extremely nice and polite service. Recommended guide when visiting Dieng crater. For overnight we recommend to take warm clothes as during night could be chill. Easy to find at the main street

This place is just awesome. Very cheap price for the room and super friendly staff. The food is quite okay with not-so-expensive price. They also provide a tour guide to help you explore Dieng. This place is more than just a homestay but also kinda tourist information.
