"Lost & Found Beer Garden, Uptown by Arcsine. With loads of bevies, food and garden-y greenness, Lost & Found is an inviting space you could stay for hours. It’s not too hipster and certainly not posh, though the inside is welcoming and spacious. The back deck is really where the party's at, with picnic tables, ping-pong and corn-hole games at the ready and plenty of umbrellas for that mid-day heat. Don't skip out too soon though, a sweet shift happens during the golden hour as the sun sets and market string lights twinkle above."
The beer is great, and the staff is super nice. Prices are high but standard for the Bay ($8-10 for a pint), but what you're paying for is the awesome garden area. One thing that just leaves a bad taste in your mouth: $20 charge for bringing a cake or a pie or anything for, say, celebrating a friend's birthday. It's their right, I suppose, but it seems like ill-spirited overkill.

This place feels like home: airy nation with ping-pong tables, lights make it cozy at dusk, delicious selection of beers and snacks. Perfect for a weekend afternoon gathering, an evening outing...you name it! It's one of those places that has your back, always! "Mini-separation anxiety" saison is incredible, so is the chicken sandwich 😍

While the beer selection was better than average, the food was unsatisfying for the price. We ordered the nachos with chicken, sage fries, and brussel sprouts. The chicken on the nachos was small squares of white meat, devoid of any color. Additionally, the chips on the nachos were slightly burnt. The sage fries were pretty decent albeit immensely greasy. The brussel sprouts were covered in a very thick sweet sauce—quite heavy handed! I’ve had good brussel sprouts at several places and when they are done right they can be quite satisfying.

Cool gardens and great beer, but the food is terrible. Seriously, focus on a couple things instead of making abominations like the grilled cheese (see attached pic). Is that American cheese between two thin slices of white bread? For $6?!? Are you kidding me???

Staff is nice. Lots of beers. Pretty much all of oakland is a weirdly eclectic neighborhood. That said, there are a lot of good places w/ in walking distance.

Best Friday happy hour in Oakland. Great beer selection. Fun patio, even in bad weather they have a big tent and heaters.

Quaint little spot in downtown Oakland. 22 beers on tap + wine. Beer games aka pong and bags make up for no liquor or TVs (just 1) closed Monday’s.
