LOST CAPARICA SURF HOUSE

Lost Caparica is a super cozy and welcoming house with kind people from all over the world. Every morning starts with a delicious breakfast, including fresh fruit and a different homemade vegan pastry each day – such a nice touch! The location is great, just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, local shops, and a variety of restaurants. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, and the overall vibe of the house is calm, friendly, and relaxed. Surf lessons were organized directly through the house and were absolutely top-notch. Everything was taken care of – transport, gear, and great instructors. It was the kind of vacation where all you have to think about is surfing and relaxing – the perfect escape from work. I’ll definitely go back!

It was amazing. Friendly people and fun to be with. I never imagined how much fun I would have at the Lost Caparica Surf House and I have never been so sad to leave not only the place, but more so the group of people who have become family. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. And the hosts were the best, always making sure everyone was having fun. We had an amazing first surf experience in Search school, so much fun, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We were really impressed by both how professional and friendly the instructors were. Ideeeemooo ♥️

Amazing team and vibe, I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better place. The surf instructors are truly professional, I‘ve progressed more here than anywhere else before. The atmosphere is just too good… fair warning: there’s a high chance you’ll end up extending your stay!

I am passionate about surf since some years now and I am not used to come back to the same places I already visited in the past, but here I gave another try. I needed a good place to combine surf, work and some relax and Lost Caprica fully met (and exceeded once more) my expectations! Nice place, beautiful people and wonderful waves, with the possibility to rent really cool boards from the surf house. Why not, I will probably choose it again in the future if I’ll need some time to take a break from “the city life” looking for a cool place where I can surf in Europe. Definitely recommended! 😁💪

This was my third time coming back to this surf house – and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Every time I return, it truly feels like coming home. After a long winter and the stress of everyday life, this place is where I recharge, reset, and breathe again. The team here takes care of you with so much heart. You don’t feel like just a guest – you feel like part of a small surf family. And that’s exactly what makes this place so special. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away – perfect for grabbing your board, checking the waves first thing in the morning, and heading straight out. There's nothing like walking down with your coffee, watching the swell, and getting ready for a session that clears your head and fills your soul. Even if you're not surfing, there’s a calm energy here that’s hard to describe. Time slows down, the air feels lighter, and you really feel yourself recharging from the inside out. I would recommend this place to anyone looking not just for a surf trip, but for a place where you'll feel truly welcomed. Thank you for everything – and see you next time!

LOVED IT!!! Amazing hosts. Amazing surf lessons. I was there for 7 days and I learned a lot. Surfing is just so amazing when you have right instructors, which these guys absolutely are!! Everything was clean at the house. Will definitely be back and I highly recommend LOST CAPARICA SURF HOUSE ❤️

Our First Surf Trip – and It Couldn’t Have Been Better! 🏄‍♂️🌞 Lost Caparica Surf House was the perfect place for our first ever surf trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so welcoming – it felt like home right away. The house management is amazing — they truly care about every guest and go out of their way to make sure you’re happy, comfortable, and part of the community. Everything is organized with love and attention to detail, and you can feel it in the atmosphere. Once again thanks for everything. 🤙🏼 The vibe of the house is super chill and full of friendly people. We met people from all over the world and quickly became like a little family. We shared dinners, sunsets, and laughs — we’ve made friends for life. The surf school was incredible. The coaches are kind, patient, and full of good energy. They guide you step by step and really help you fall in love with surfing. Even as total beginners, we felt supported, encouraged, and stoked every day. There are also plenty of great activities, but everything is super relaxed. You can join group stuff or just enjoy your time your own way. We’re already planning to come back. Thank you, Lost Caparica, and big love to the whole team for giving us such a special first surf experience! 💙

I keep coming back to this place, as it gives you this special feeling of home! The house is always filled with laughter, warmth or the smell of freshly baked breakfast specials :) The whole vibe of the hostel and the staff is super welcoming, perfect for chats in the backyard or on the sunny roof, a little reggaeton party in the night or a well deserved nap on the balcony after surfing. The surf lessons are super well organized and the instructors provide lots of support and jokes. Literally, your only worries here are if you have enough energy left for a third surf session during sunset and if you have enough sunscreen. This is the perfect place to fall in love with surfing and to come back home with new friends and the urge to instantly book a now stay. Hope to see you soon! :)
