What a wonderful and amazing park and lake! Lost Lake Park is a really relaxing and secluded place to take a nice stroll or take a long hike. I'm so glad I chose to visit this park when I planned my drive from Vancouver to Whistler.
Right when I got out of the car, I could immediately feel to cool, fresh air, and the smell of the Douglas firs.
There's a well paved trail that loops around the lake for a nice leisurely stroll. You can also go on the Sea to Sky Trail that leads you to another (Green) lake for even more sightseeing, and many, many other trails too. There's a dock that goes out into the lake for fishing or if you want to go for a swim, but the water was ice cold!
Lost Lake Park is welcomed to everyone: casual walkers, runners, hikers, bikers, dog friendly, and all ages, and shapes and sizes.
There's a small parking lot, and it wasn't busy at all in mid-November. I suspect it'd be a lot busier summer time.
I'd really like to spend an entire day just hiking and wandering around and beyond the Lost Lake Park, but the experience I had was still really great. I enjoyed everything about this park. So well maintained and accessible. I can see everyone else's enjoyment of this park as every one was all smiles and greeted us as we passed by each other.
