"Just off Cookman Ave, this traditional Mexican restaurant also leans into Tex-Mex favorites (hello, queso), and with a large dining room plus plentiful outdoor tables it’s a great option for larger groups." - Coolstuff Team

Google
One of my go-to spots for Taco Tuesday. The tacos are a great value—usually $4–6 each—and the portions are solid, so you leave full without overspending. Their margaritas really stand out, better than most of the other places nearby, and they put the same effort into their cocktails too. It’s a laid-back, casual spot that works perfectly for a weekday night out when you want good food and drinks without overthinking it.

Google
Finally , they ditched that one waitress who was impossible and now have only super friendly and attentive personnel. Tacos and burritos are delicious… one advice though : Turn down the music by a bit as it’s quite overwhelming.

Loteria in Asbury Park isn’t just serving tacos, it’s delivering tiny, tortilla-wrapped miracles. I came in hungry and left spiritually fulfilled. The flavors are complex, the textures are perfect, and the emotional connection I formed with two tacos? Honestly a little concerning. Oh, and their margs are refreshing and cooler than the other side of the pillow. The vibes are immaculate. The staff are cooler than me (not hard, but still). The food hits harder than a telenovela plot twist. And the guacamole? Absolutely delicious. Creamy, fresh, and the kind of thing that makes you question every other guac you’ve ever met. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I write a love song about their tacos? Already halfway done.

Google
We can for Cinco de Mayo the food is very very good I don't drink so I'm not really sure about the cocktails but everyone seemed to be having a very good time the atmosphere is nice they hosted a wedding shower there it was very large space for them to have the party and overall I'd say the parking was the hardest part but totally worth it once you found a place to park everything that's great

Google
Our meal here was an experience of cosmic proportions. The chimichanga (a Sunday special) was unbelievable. The meat was delicious, but somehow the star of the show was the rice and beans. This fried burrito was a religious experience! The queso dip is serious business. The cheese sauce itself had great texture and richness. With the addition of the chorizo.. an insane flavor! The tacos were simple but delicious. The margarita was refreshing, sweet, salty, and strong. The churros were the perfect end of an excellent meal. Absolutely would recommend!

Google
When you go to a Mexican restaurant thinking you’ll get authentic tacos and they are the most lame tacos you have ever had. I could make way better tacos at home. The chicken tacos smelled and looked and tasted like chicken of the sea. It had a strong nasty scent. We payed 55 dollars for this nasty food. I wouldn’t even feed this to my cultured dog.

Authentic Mexican Food! Super fresh tacos and cool new bar just added up front! Check it out!

Google
A fantastic restaurant that has everything..great food, fun ambiance and awesome service!

Yelp
Finally an authentic Mexican restaurant serving real meat. Not the grisly and fatty meats that many serve. Excellent value with accommodating bartender-Patrick. Worth the ride from RBank.

Audrey G.

Yelp
After waiting, forever, the vegetable quesadilla was small with only a little bit of vegetables, a little bit of cheese and a thin tortilla. :-(

Ben S.

Yelp
Fun environment, good service. Drinks were very nice. Maybe we ordered the worst thing on the menu but I've had better nachos at the movies.

Yelp
We found this place walking down the street and it looked good! We had the guacamole as an appetizer which was good. Needed more red onions but was very tasty! Then I had the carnitas taco and shrimp taco and both were fantastic! (And I never order carnitas. This was amazing) My friend had the steak taco and the ahi tuna taco. We enjoyed the experience and loved our server, Ava! She gave great advice. Will come again

Yelp
Love the food here and eat here often. But, I hate to say that the music is so annoying and loud when you're trying to eat and talk. Even at the outside tables. I get it, it's adding to the "fun" atmosphere but background instrumental, more ambient music at a lower volume would make it better to be able to enjoy a meal with conversation. Still love the restaurant though...

Yelp
Came here this weekend with a few people. The chicken nachos were great; really crunchy chips and tasty toppings! I got the black bean taco (beans weren't super flavorful, but the fried avocado and sauce were!), and the chorizo taco (yummy!). The rest of the table had the pork mole tamales, burrito al pastor, and chicken quesadillas- all very happy! The smoky margaritas are also really good and the red sangria is tasty (if a bit sweet). Service was great. Overall, will be coming back!

Yelp
Loteria has reopened and has a very nice bar where some booths used to be! The menu is fairly the same as before except for two of my favorites that are no longer on it! Not sure why they got rid of the tamales and the enchiladas and hope they bring them back. The drinks are still tasty and generous though! We got the corn which is now served in a bowl rather than a cup which I liked, and a large guacamole which was yummy. We ordered tacos and quesa dillas which were very tasty and since one of the orders was delayed, they gave us churros on the house! I'm so glad they are back and ready for the season!!
google avatar

Katie G.

Yelp
Not a happy customer. The corn esquites was small and had only a squirt of chipotle sauce and a sprinkle of cheese on it. Thankfully they brought me extra sauce when I asked. The real disappointment was my carne asada burrito that barely had any steak it. I had 2 bites with steak. I was extremely disappointed with the portion of steak in the burrito. I paid $16 for a burrito that was basically all rice. The chips and salsa were good, but we needed to add salt to the flavorless chips. I was also annoyed that there was no sign for the restroom. I accidentally walked into the adjacent restaurant thinking it was the bathroom. The decor consists of piñatas hanging from the ceiling. Also, you must pay for parking.

Yelp
A friend of my suggested this place and I wasn't disappointed. We came here for tacos since it was Tuesday, of course. The food here was pretty good. I'm kind of a taco connoisseur, so I take my tacos very seriously. The fish taco i had was very good. It was saucy and flavorful, and the fish was so soft and perfectly cooked. My burrito, on the other hand, could've been better. I got a chicken burrito, but other than the chicken, it was more on the bland side. The service was pretty good. The people here are nice/chill. The food came out pretty quick, too. I might come back here cause it's in a pretty good location. The vibe here is that of a hip Mexican spot. I liked liked it. It was as traditional as other places, but I'm liked the hip side of it.

Yelp
It's your totally mid textbook Mexican restaurant in a beach town. Typical sombrero & piñata like ambiance, although I wish it was more lit & livelier. We tried the chips & guac, paloma, queso quesadilla, shrimp/veggie/chicken tacos - everything tasted alright, nothing to rave about. Service was nice though.
google avatar

Yelp
SUPER UNDERRATED. Great tacos, super reasonably priced as well. Delicious margaritas. Can't go wrong. Live in town and we love it.

Mary K.

Yelp
I was a little nervous about the service after some of the recent reviews, but we had a great server - Libby. She told us the specials right away and was just the right amount of attentive! They offer $5 Classic Margs on Wednesday nights; smaller than the regular but perfect size for a work night. Two of us started with the large nachos with chorizo which were delicious but we might've been ok with a small. Then we shared the pork Hexi-Mexi which is like the Taco Bell crunch wrap supreme that came with pappas fritas; the wrap was a little under seasoned and missing the crunch that I was looking for, but the fries were delicious with chipotle mayo and cheese. Large chorizo nachos

Yelp
I just had a very good experience ordering takeout in person. The server Fatima was very knowledgeable and friendly. She gave me quite a couple options when I told her I was in a rush and that was helpful to me. The atmosphere was vibrant, colorful and inviting and definitely somewhere I would have a birthday party with friends on the weekend. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and I am impressed that they used fresh avocado and it doesn't taste frozen or reheated ( if it IS then I am tricked easily ) . I also ordered the veggy taco and it's delicious. I really am loving the care they put into the fresh ingredients and the affordability right down the street from my work

Melanie C.

Yelp
What a disgusting and unprofessional experience. Came here with a group of 12 friends for a birthday and was extremely dissappointed. Sat down at 7:30, the queso app came in 35 mins after and it was cold, got another queso dip which was warm not hott. Put in food orders waited until 9:15 to eat and every single meal was cold! Waitress was not friendly, dirty plates were on the table throughout our dinner. Manager even came to the table to bring out the food because they seemed short staffed. We figured we would then wait to speak to manager at the end because 12 girls getting food order again we would be there until 11 pm and the food would probably be cold again. Waited until we finished and I asked to speak to the manager. Manager refused to take 10 percent off and said she was getting the owner. The owner is an unprofessional, angry, aggressive and disrespectful owner. Came out with an attitude, responded aggressively and told me he heard the scoop" and I didn't complain at dinner meals so I need to pay in full and leave and that it's a Saturday night in Asbury what else do I expect" after a 540 ish roller bill which I should not have had to pay in full I told him he could call the police because this is not right. Bobs his head while he was speaking to me and said pay your bill and leave. Asbury police arrived and the officer was extremely nice , also asked me if I wanted to press harassment charges, also agreed he would not want to wait 2 hours to eat cold steak. I am reporting this restaurant to the bbb and the health department. Most disgusting experience ever. Will never be back.

Yelp
Loteria is a fun spot with some solid Mexican fare. The small salsa is a big portion so stick with that one if you are going for the salsa. The enchilada's were delicious as well. The tacos were good with the tortilla tasting like it was homemade. The carnitas taco one was legit. The corn was good was good as well. They also make a mean margherita! Try this place out. 4 stars.
google avatar

Tamila B.

Yelp
My 2nd time to Loteria and it was just as wonderful as the 1st. We went on a Tuesday. No drink specials but the $3 tacos were great and big fun to mix & match. The atmosphere is laid back & comfortable. Service is good. Brought my kids and had a 5 minute wait. Not bad at all. For Tex Mex in the Cookman Ave area, this is now my go to. If you're looking for a more upscale experience, I would go to Barrio Costero a block or two away. But the price point is family friendly here and I appreciate that!

Jordan M.

Yelp
Loteria is one of my favorite places in AP, the food is good every time, service is always awesome, it's never overcrowded.. however, the website says they close at 10:00 pm, and at least a half dozen times now we've come to grab food between 8:30-9:00 and they've told us they closed the kitchen and aren't seating anyone else (tonight we got there at 8:46, several tables were still eating and they wouldn't seat us) just a note to maybe change hours on the site! I desperately wanted queso

Yelp
Happy Tuesday Adventurers! I took my BFF to this place for his belated dinner since we were so excited to try the variety of tacos they had on menu. We decided to try the pineapple margarita and spicy margarita--pretty good choices if you ask me. The spicy marg needs to be stirred a bit otherwise you'll get a mouthful of sweet with no spice until the after taste. The pineapple was really good but they should add a slice of pineapple as a garnish for fun. We also ordered La Sirenita , Carne Asada Taco, El Jefe, & Cerdo Tacos. I really enjoyed the La Sirenita--savory and delicious. The shrimps are whole and hard to keep the tacos together LOL. I also got the carne asada tacos with all the fixins--my go to taco and these were so juicy! My friend got the other 3 and he LOVED them. They are street style tacos so expect to order a few or more. We were debating on ordering more but wanted to go somewhere else for drinks. Our waitress was very attentive and super helpful with the menu. We sat outside--picnic style table with a few small (2top) tables as well. I def recommend checking this place out if you're in the Asbury area.

Yelp
Great spicy margaritas not the usual asbury park $20 small cocktail! Cute new spot with good tacos! Service was on point too!

Yelp
Lotería is a great option if you're looking for Mexican food in the asbury park area. The restaurant is casual and also had outdoor seating. I wouldn't say it's the most authentic Mexican but then food is very good! The margs are well done with a variety of fruity takes on the classic drink. For appetizers we ordered corn esquites and the nachos gordo were a hit. The nachos come in two options small and large. The small and it was plenty for two people. The tacos were pretty good and the burrito was excellent. We topped off the meal with the churro dessert - they're a must order!
google avatar

Kimberly R.

Yelp
The food was subpar. It wasn't special or memorable. The drinks are decent. The service was unfortunately not great... it took a long while to be attended to, a long while to get the food, and a longer while to get the check! We sat outside so that was enjoyable! I'm sure sitting on the inside is nice, it looked pretty from the outside! Maybe I'll come back for a drink and chips with guacamole, at most!

Yelp
This was such a let down of an experience, especially at a restaurant that we frequented so much. Last night we had dinner here and had an experience with the manager (Kelly) that goes against the idea of customer service - clearly is a thing of the past here. We were offered a "drink special" by our server at which we asked how much the drink was, the server replied $10. She then asked us which type of Tequila we wanted, so we said Casa Amigos (which is a mid grade tequila at best). When the bill came, they came up as Casa Amigos for $13 a piece AND THEN there was an additional $3 for a "double" - so $16 for this "$10 special" drink. We mentioned to the manager that there were some discrepancies and miscommunication here and that we were never told of the upcharge and also we were not given an option or asked about a "double" option. Kelly the manager told us it wasn't listed anywhere, or priced anywhere. He told us that it's "something" they do but they don't list it anywhere. We asked him to make it right and reflect the prices that were told to us, but he told us no he wasn't going to fix it. We then asked to at least update the pricing to reflect what customers are actually paying instead of this round about way of turning a $10 cocktail to a $16 cocktail. All in all, Kelly stood there and basically told us wasn't going to update the prices, seemed to not care there was a miscommunication. Has been upsetting to see restaurants who gladly took our money during the pandemic as we tried to support them and now continue to price gauge customers with these different hidden costs, fee's etc.

Yelp
This place was pretty lackluster. I had my hopes up with some of the reviews but I'm uncertain as to why they are so variable. There are some 5's and some 1's and for me, this place was a 2. The food itself was pretty meh. Small portions, pricey, bland taste, took forever to come out. The service was not too good either. They felt not very attentive to our table and we had to flag down our server and he would give us less energy compared to the other tables that he was serving. We spent some time waiting around for a dish to come out only to realize that they didn't even put the order in and our server had no idea. We got some alcoholic beverages as well which were great but they don't make up for the poor service and meh. There are better places to go to in Ashbury so I'd advise against it or just try at your own risk and maybe you'll get better service than my party that would have at least made the visit worth 3 stars.

Jay G.

Yelp
Amazing food, Excellent Service! If you can arrange your week around it, go on Sunday! Sunday is Chimichanga Day!!!l Just Wow!!! You may think you have had good, or even "great" Nachos at sometime in your past life, you are so wrong! Loteria has Mastered the art of the Nacho! Their Nacho Plate is simple, but MoMA worthy, order a plate of each kind, 1 pork, 1 chicken. Enjoy Asbury's sights, people watching, and street shops after dinner while you take a walk to let your meal settle in.
google avatar

Mark V.

Yelp
This place rocks and has been consistent with all their dishes for the last 3.5 years I've been eating here. Their authentic Mexican dishes absolutely embody traditional style Spanish cuisine, but with the addition bold twists giving it that special taste. I usually get the steak quesadilla, but I often switch to the vegetarian burrito because I can't decide! This place has their own pickled onions they top on their dishes and when I tell you I could eat a entire bowl of them, LAWD, I mean it! Please give this place a try if you haven't. A+***** The staff here is always very kind. They food always comes out fast. Great selection with their tequila bar. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Deliciousssssss and fun dinner spot in Asbury Park! This place has a really colorful and vibrant exterior, they do both indoor and outdoor dining. Their outdoor has a mix of regular tables and picnic tables with cute small hanging lights. They've got fun, upbeat music playing inside, but it's just loud enough, and not so loud that you can't hear one another-- which I LOVE. Usually the wait is longer for the outdoor seating than inside. The parking situation is not too bad! You'll definitely be able to find something in the vicinity, but I would give yourselves an extra 5ish minutes to plan for parking. This place is first come first serve, we went on a weekday and were seated right away at dinner time. The service was also so so kind! Someone came to check on us every few minutes, they were incredibly fast with the food (I was so surprised!) and gave great suggestions. They were also very honest, I was debating between getting a large or small plate of nachos for my entree and the server said the small would be enough for me -- he was right, I was STUFFED! Okay, let's talk about the food: The drinks: SMOKEY MARGARITA ALL THE WAY! This drink had such an amazing flavor. It's spicy and smokey -- honestly may be one of the best margs I have ever ordered. The portion is kind of small, but it does the job! I kind of like it without the ice, it really brings out the Smokey flavor that goes amazingly with the tequila. If you go here I'd highly recommend this drink! My dinner partner got a strawberry jalapeño infused margarita, which was also good. This one was iced so if you want something refreshing this is a nice choice! I personally think the Smokey marg is better but if you're not into that kind of flavor, the strawberry one is a good choice. Overall, loved the drinks! At $12 a drink, I think it was pretty worth it. The food: I got the nachos in a small size as my entree and it was SO FILLING! There's queso, black beans, jalapeños, pico de Gallo, sour cream, picked onions and more. This is definitely a messy meal but a DELICIOUS ONE! I could not stop picking at them I ended up eating the entire plate. They also decorate it so cutely and layer the toppings so that each chip has something on it. On top of that, they add such a generous amount of HOT and fresh queso, it's so so good I hope I've convinced you to order this! For an appetizer we got the Pappas fritas, which really did hit the spot (but I think it's because we were really hungry lol). Overall, this dish was hot and fresh for sure, but it was really just regular French fries with spicy Mayo. I wish there was more Mayo on top also, the bottom became sort of dry and they don't give you a sauce with it either. But honestly, there's nothing like hot fries when you're super hungry so this was a good choice. I'd ask for some extra sauce/ketchup on the side if I got this again. My dinner partner got the shrimp and tuna tacos, which he also seemed to enjoy and said the flavors were immaculate. The taco portions are pretty small though, I strongly feel like the average person needs at least 3 tacos to feel full! I'll be back here for the nachos -- literally my favorite part of the meal they were so so good. And can't forget about the Smokey marg!

Yelp
Consistently slaps. Very tasty albeit overpriced. The public's star rating is absurd. Service is always friendly and it's usually easy to snag a spot on a busy night since it's hidden off the side street.
google avatar

Cara F.

Yelp
Where do I start? With the tampon and the open rusty safety pin under the table? The weird shrimp "ceviche" that was like shrimp in canned tomato sauce? Or the goya beans and rice? Literally out of a can and a box. Or the weak tasteless margarita? Or the tacos- lonely little tacos with no distinct flavor, and with no garnishes, save for a tiny piece of lime? Or the salad I couldn't eat because the lettuce was rusty? At least they took that off the bill. Literally the worst dining experience I've ever had in Asbury. Not just bad- painfully bad. I literally have a stomach ache

Yelp
On a rainy day, was looking for great food to come to the door. We had food delivered. Delivery took about an hour, but who can rush perfection. We ordered 3 tacos, a chicken bowl, and a side of rice and beans. They have a great variety of tacos to choose from. The portions were a great size and the food was delicious. I would definitely order from here again and planning to visit the location. The taco shaped fortune cookie was a great ending to the meal. Great hints of cinnamon.

Rebecca K.

Yelp
The best rice and beans in town. Their corn appetizer is perfection. If you eat at the restaurant you have to try the sangria!

Yelp
I really wanted to eat here tonight but we opted for take out because we didn't order until 30 min before closing. The staff was gracious and offered to seat us but that would have been fair to the staff! I'll eat in another day! I love the decor and design elements. Holy piñatas! Functional and comfortable seating areas. Staff was friendly. Food portions were generous. The chicken nachos portion is huge! The heaviness made it it cheesy and delicious but changed the chip consistency but tje yet soggy chips were still amazing! While waiting for my food i noticed some fairly cool small match books..see photo. Make sure you grab one on your way out! Can't wait to return and enjoy the atmosphere a little but more!
google avatar

Amy M.

Yelp
We had dinner tonight and it was very reasonably priced. I had a fish taco and shrimp taco. We also got the shrimp quesadilla and chicken tamales and the corn appetizer. The food was very good and my husband liked that it was NOT salty. The server did mess up my order and brought me a chicken taco instead of a shrimp taco. Thank God I noticed there was not shrimp on my plate. I don't eat meat and that would have been devastating if I would've had a bite. The one thing that bothered me was that we first sat at a table outside but then noticed it was not cleaned down. There was a cup water ring stain on the table. So I question how well they wipe down the tables in this era of covid. The next table we moved to had a black bean on the seat. So again I question how well they are wiping things down. The servers were all wearing masks which I was glad to see.

Yelp
First off I have to say there is nothing fantastic about Loteria, but there is nothing bad either. The food is good, just not great. The drinks, good not great. Service very good but nobody seems to have a lot of experience. I've been here 3-4 times and have gotten takeout at least 5 times. Never had a complaint, food tasty, portions generous. They lack an App for takeout so you have to call on the phone! Overall I really like the place but nothing they serve is so good you have to return yet I do .....

John C.

Yelp
I LOTERIA! One of my favorite restaurants in asbury. It truly never disappoints. Every time I come, I can expect a wonderful experience and I get it every time. Consistently amazing!
google avatar

Luis R.

Yelp
Vegetarian food is good, but Loteria staff loves to charge people for small sides of guac. When a veggie burrito is supposed to come with guac sauce, which is stated in the menu, but they put some nasty white sauce & a hot sauce instead of the guac sauce that it is supposed to come with. The manager tried to charge me $2 more, as if the burrito wasn't already overcharged enough. These restaurants are so greedy!!! SMH!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Eh... not my favorite Mexican food at all. Not that it was terrible but I remember that I was really in the mood for awesome Mexican that night and I was disappointed. Service was eh, drinks were eh , food was eh
google avatar

Hiral P.

Yelp
This is my 2nd time trying this place and it never fail to charm me... love love love the food. I tried Mediterranean taco for the first time, the only thing I didn't like was eggplant not being well roasted. It would have taste delicious if it was well roasted. I will sure come back
google avatar

Mitesh O.

Yelp
All the cheese is house made and fresh. Believe me I know. On top of that, the atmosphere provides a level of unmatched authenticity. If you ask me the pork and the carne asada tacos have a sincere simplicity to them, which really brings out and exaggerates the natural flavor of the meal. Also, for someone who doesn't favor alcohol, these margaritas could very well send me to the next AA meeting. The way the drinks accentuated the meal, which was amplified by the environment, makes this place a home run. My only complaint is that when my wife went to the bathroom, she overheard a rowdy crowd using a lot of cuss words. She's having a hard time forgetting these words and this is unforgivable and we will not be returning.
google avatar

Rylee T.

Yelp
One of my absolute favorite mexican spots. Always hits the spot and never disappoints. Make sure to get the nachos, they're the best i've ever had. Tacos are also amazing and make sure to ask about dessert! Pretty good service too

Yelp
Not Good! Ive been to Mexican Restaurants all over the country. Never have i been charged for Salsa with drinks and dinner. Little bowl $7. We had 3! Didn't tell me. Got my bill $21 for 3 small small bowls of Salsa. I couldn't believe it! Outrageous! I asked still charged. Yes we do charge for salsa. Ex waiter so i tipped the young gal well. Never go there. Food only adequate too!! If you give this place a good review. You dont know good Mexican food. Or like getting ripped off. $$$. A $ for each bowl charged!!

Emily M.

Yelp
Such amazing tacos here. The guac and queso are delicious as well. They top them perfectly and it's nice to order a few different kinds. The inside of the restaurant is colorful and fun!
google avatar

Olivia H.

Yelp
Hostess is not the one with the mostest. Positives: Lots of gluten free options. Typical delicious Mexican Cuisine with affordable prices. All the waitresses and waiters are absolutely adorable. Have not had one be rude or ill dressed. Love the decorations! Negatives: The hostess I interacted with was rude and space headed. Gave us attitude like us existing and wanting food was intruding on her day. That entitled manor is probably my biggest pet peeve in the food industry. I've worked way harder jobs with many more customers who were rude... I always controlled my attitude. So no empathy on my end.
google avatar

Yelp
First off when we sat down the waitress was nasty we ordered a bloody mary to start off our breakfast that was okay the waitress never came back out to see if we wanted anything else we ordered french fries after about 25 minutes of waiting the fritas came back cold and oily they seem like they were sitting around for a while in an unclean looking aluminum pot. We waited for another half hour after ordering our food the food never came out... During the week this place is usually hopping it was a Saturday just afternoon nobody was in the business doing business for ordering food it took a full hour and 25 minutes for them to even bring food out after I went to the manager two times. After hearing my complaints and manager tried to come out and repair the situation he became very annoying and hovering. Obviously there is a disconnect between the management and the workers in this restaurant the food was very powered disgusting and bland I could have made any of the entrees within 10 minutes I've worked in the hospitality community for many years this place is a disgrace to Asbury Park do not eat here the person that I was with refused to eat the food and fear of retaliation from the waitstaff.

Yelp
Been to this place plenty of times. Decent food. I was there a few weeks ago and my card was accidentally double charged. Had to go in twice to try and get it resolved. Left phone number the first time and no one called back. Tried calling a week or so later, was put on hold and then the phone was disconnected. When I tried to call back there was a message stating that "calls are screened and my number was blocked". I went into the restaurant and was treated so badly..no I'm sorry..no let's try to resolve this..nothing ..they acted as if I was the problem when it was their error. Too bad, I liked the food but I will never go back. Bad management and attitude.

Yelp
Ok YUM ... 10/10 recommend the esquites .. yes they come in a hipster mason jar with a spoon but honestly f*ck it and eat it by the spoonful. Also got the salsa (which was amazing) came with chips so you can eat the esquites with the chips too. The el jefe taco was to die for. Wednesday has $5 Margs all over that!!! Services was great. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Below average food, very expensive and small Portion. Total rip off. Will not come again.

Yelp
Been years since I walked out of a restaurant without ordering and I've never done it at one which I've patronized dozens of times prior. That was until this evening. Seated with my wife and then waited for 15 minutes without having anyone come to the table. The place was not busy; clearly the c-team was on tonight.

Yelp
Super good food! For appetizers I had the carne asada Nachos and corn esquites. Super delicious I love the corn the most it has a burst of flavor. For entree I got carne asada quesadillas and their special which was a chicken enchilada. The chicken enchiladas were not all that great and pretty bland however, the rest of the food was great. The churros were very fresh and tasty!

Yelp
Cute outdoor dining. We ordered the mango and strawberry margaritas. A little disappointed they were served in beer glasses. We order 2 tacos each. The el jefe taco changed from the last time I had it. Last time there were crispy potato waffle chips. This time they literally threw lays potato chips on top. It was also extremely oily. The other tacos were delicious. The food was prompt. The servers were attentive.
