The Best Bakeries in Seoul to Visit on a Pastry Tour of the City

"Catering to bagel purists in Sinsa-dong, this Korean-owned outpost—whose first location opened in Queens—adheres to New York tradition by hand-shaping, boiling, and baking its bagels, producing classic, doughy discs that emphasize time-honored technique and texture." - Katie Chang

Came here because of a certain someone hehe and his recommendation did not disappoint. Very nice bagels and fillings were generous. Cosy environment, quiet and secluded from the bustling Gangnam streets. The store felt like a fan cafe with DK's face and recommendations plastered all over haha.

Simply the best bagels and Spanish latte! I couldn’t take the picture of bagels for I ate all of them right away. The taste of chili onion soup was super!! So far, the best bagels that I had in Seoul!!

A beautiful hidden bagel place with the best bagels. The service was so friendly and foreigner friendly. I wasn't too hungry but I wish I was so I could've eaten more! I tried the fig bagel with bacon and scallion cream cheese. It was delicious. The bagel had a lot of bite and chew and the flavour of the fig really came through. I wish I had a bit more of the cream cheese it was delicious. The atmosphere itself is beautiful and it feels hidden away and peaceful. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you love bagels.

Yummy breakfast spot. Peaceful and quiet first thing in the morning. A little tucked away down a long path but sign is easy to find.

The absolutely best bagels I’ve ever had. I’ve traveled all around the world and these bagels beat them all. They’re soft, chewy, with a perfectly balanced blend of sweetness. The fig cream was also to die for. I can’t wait to try out the rest of the bagel flavors. I took a bag home because I had to show my family. Amazing and addicting. The decor was also another amazing part of the experience. The entrance makes you feel like you’re entering another realm away from the street. Perfect place for a date or to just relax.

Bagels & coffee were really good. Service was fairly average though. If you want to see more photos and tips, feel free to check out my Instagram → @6yearsinjapan

Delicious and with a variety of bagels and fillings that surpassed my expectations. The space is also very good, with outside tables and bamboo trees. I love the atmosphere there.
