Lotte Hotel Saigon

Had a most wonderful stay at the Lotte Hotel Saigon from 3-7 Jan, in a Deluxe Room City View. Over my four nights spent at the Lotte, I was thoroughly impressed with the service provided and the speed of the room service/housekeeping team. Room design was a little dated but well equipped and furnished, i.e bidet toilets, nice plush beds and no real complaints. Location wise, it is still in District 1 and is walkable to the major attractions i.e Notre Dame, Coffee Apartments, but not as central as other hotels. Fortunately, Lotte's shuttle service is very useful in this aspect. They provide a shuttle bus service to Notre Dame Cathedral, the Opera House and Ben Thanh Market. However, do note that the shuttle has to be booked with the concierge (Either call them or approach them in-person at the counter) an hour in advance. Shuttles depart from the hotel only at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. What impressed me was that even though they said it was a "shuttle bus", we were pleasantly surprised to be driven in their Toyota Sienna minivans instead, though it could have been because there was just two of us... but yeah that was pretty impressive. Unfortunately, did not manage to get the driver's name, as he was extremely polite and drove steadily and calmly despite HCMC's wild traffic. Other facilities: 1) Pool Didn't use it but looked pretty big and decent to swim in 2) Fitness Centre Well-equipped, comes with showers and a sauna room too, good for a workout The staff were as a whole, amazing. Don't know how else to put it. They were all extremely willing to help, from the security guard who'd open the doors of the car for us when we returned, to the concierge, to the housekeepers. Thank you for making my stay in HCMC such a pleasant one, and for showcasing the best of Vietnamese hospitality. Great job to the Lotte team and I would definitely stay at Lotte again when I return to HCMC.

We stayed here purely for the pool (we have small children) and for that reason, we were very happy. I would say however, for the price, the rooms are a bit dated and the bathroom definitely could use a refresh. The staff go above and beyond and are all friendly and helpful, and the food looked incredible (not for us as a travelling family, sadly!) we had a great view of the river, and a pleasant stay overall. A little oasis from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room offered a beautiful, open view, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout the stay. The room condition and overall maintenance were excellent, and the view was definitely one of the highlights. I would also like to commend the reception team for their professionalism and kindness. In particular, Veronica, Mia, and Tien provided outstanding service. From check-in to handling inquiries during my stay, they were consistently attentive, polite, and efficient. Their proactive and customer-focused attitude truly reflected the hotel’s high service standards. Overall, the hotel delivers a high level of quality in terms of facilities, views, and service. I would gladly recommend it and look forward to staying again.

I had a wonderful afternoon tea experience at the Lounge, thanks to the excellent service from Mr. Thiet and Manager Trung. They were both incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout my visit. Mr. Thiet made me feel truly welcomed, and his service was warm, thoughtful, and detailed. Manager Trung was very supportive and ensured the entire afternoon tea experience was smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable. Their dedication and hospitality elevated the whole experience. The afternoon tea set was beautifully presented, delicious, and perfectly balanced with great service. I highly recommend this place — fantastic team and outstanding afternoon tea service!

Lotte Hotel Saigon is a very nice hotel and the spa is very nice. This is our second time to this hotel and first time at the spa. My wife and I had a 90 minute thai massage that was amazing. Jenny and Uni were fantastic, very strong massage and very professional. I would highly recommend visiting the spa and asking for either of these two ladies you wont regret it. At the front desk Lily was super friendly and took care of us before and after our massage. She was polite and very friendly. The entire experience was great we will visit the spa again before we leave.

Stayed here for a week. The ammenities are great, with complimentary water and tea/coffee every day along with bathroom products such as q-tips and a razor. The buffet is quite pricey compared to going to a local restaurant but the variety and quality is well worth the price. Room service is stellar, even picked up and folded a hoodie I accidentally left on the ground. Gym and pool are great, and I enjoyed them both. Front desk and lobby staff are always courteous and welcoming, saying good morning and such, a very nive gesture. Lastly, the door attendants were lovely, always there to open a taxi door/the door to the hotel for us.

Such a beautiful hotel with a river view & great staff! The buffet is one of the most delicious restaurants we’ve ever been to. We had the very best couple’s Thai Massages in the spa from Jenny and Lotus, they were so therapeutic. We loved our stay in this hotel, it was a nice oasis from the busy city.

Rooms|The rooms are spacious, clean and with a great river side view! Bathroom is clean but needs some updating ( a walk in shower ). They should update the Air Conditioning system because it takes very long to cool down the room. The bed was bing and sooo good. We did sleep very well there. The hotel pool is beautiful! They have a Café and great sitting areas to enjoy a coffee and sweets or a drink!! The breakfast has an excellent selection. One can enjoy an Asian or a western breakfast or both. The hotel service is excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive.|I would stay there anytime again!!||Nearby activities|You can enjoy districts 1-2 just walking from the hotel. The Lotte is well located in a safe district and in walking distance of everything you need. Don’t leave Saigon without having enjoyed a massage or at least a foot massage. I got one at Miumiu Spa just 5’ walking distance from the Lotte. The food in Saigon is superb!! Enjoy a street food tour! We went with: yen.navie7 ( instagram ) she is a local guide and knows her way around!||Safety|Saigon is very safe in general although there are a couple of districts you shouldn’t visit my street food tour guide told me ). ( We walked mostly also late at night and took a Grab or the new app with electric cars Xanh SM or scooter ) to move around.||Walkability|You can walk mostly everywhere from the Lotte but if you are visiting other parts of the city you can take a Grab or Xanh SM is very cheap! You can also take the bus ( have cash ) and mix with the locals!||Food and drinks|The breakfast buffet is amazing in the Lotte!! I try many of the asian dishes in the breakfast buffet and they were all very good! and what a variety. The food in Saigon is a delight for the palate! Vietnamese food is just delicious!! From a Bánh Mi ( a Sub ) to a Kem Bo (ice cream with avocado sauce and coconut pieces )||Noteworthy details|The hotel Lotte has a very friendly staff and very helpful. Great hotel! If you are planning to visit Ho Chi Minh considered staying at the Lotte. It is good to have always some cash with you. You can pay many things with Credit Card but in many places cash is preferred. You can withdraw local money from almost every ATM in Saigon.
