Lotte Hotel Saigon

This hotel markets itself as a 5* hotel and has some amenities that deserve this classification. The restaurants make a good impression, the lobby and pool areas are well maintained. Two of the main advantages are the fantastic location and a convenience store right next to the hotel. However, I will not return: - No regular showers, instead high slippery bathtubs with a curtain and a handheld shower head. You need good mobility. This is not okay for a 5* luxury hotel in Asia in 2025. When I complained I was told I could pay more for a suite. The only alternative is to shower in the fitness center as there are no standard rooms with standalone showers. - There was no functioning heating in the room. If want your room warmer than the chilled temperature all you can do is turn off the AC and wait for the temperature to rise from sunshine into the room. - There is a console on the nightstand that has an aggressive green light that cannot be turned off. The smoke detector blinks in strobe light every few seconds, making sleep difficult. Lights have to be individually turned off throughout the room, the console can only control some lights. - Toiletry products like shower gel have a very strong and intense fragrance, better bring your own if you have to stay here - Reception staff was friendly but did not respond to email in advance regarding dinner options. Sadly, Google Maps and ChatGPT were more helpful than the concierge in finding the right dining options for the occasion.

As soon as we arrived in our room, we were greeted with a gorgeous rose petal spread congratulating us on our honeymoon. The staff at the hotel were so sweet and always quick to help us out with calling for cars and anything we needed. The location is prime and right by the river in the middle of the city, which made everything so walkable but also easy to call for Grabs/taxis. The public space (lobby, restaurants, bars, pool) was so gorgeous and updated so we were a little disappointed to see that our room was quite dull and a older looking - very corporate, no personality, so we didn't spend much time in our room. However, the products that the hotel provides (shampoo, body wash, etc.) were great. This is good place to stay if you are planning to explore the city all day and not staying too long, as the cost of the room was fair.

What an incredible property! It offers ultimate luxury with world-class amenities, including a stunning pool, elegant rooms, exceptional service, and an attentive staff. The team was incredibly accommodating to our dietary restrictions, with the Italian restaurant gladly preparing no-meat pasta and pizza. However, the breakfast options for vegetarians were somewhat limited. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the market with a prime riverfront view. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious stay!

Booked in currently for 4 nights. Hotel is great. Clean. Front desk staff awesome. Concierge found us a great restaurant to eat which we highly recommend(Xu) They fall short at the bar. Walked in after dinner at 7pm. Zero service skills, no hello, no menu or offering for a drink. 2 workers just sat and visited and stared at my wife and I who were literally in the chairs closest to the bar. We typically have 2-3 drinks before we go to bed. We left after 10 minutes and went and bought a bottle of wine and went to our room. Their loss as we drink, eat dessert and tip generously everywhere we go....where service is adequate. 0 stars for the bar tonight. We Will find another bar tomorrow for our night cap.

We had a total of 5-nights here split at the beginning and the end (3&2) of a package holiday. ||Overall the hotel was superb. On both occasions we were upgraded to river view rooms. The rooms are spacious and very well furnished.||Thanks to Nabie on our end of holiday visit that she was able to give us an early check in (circa 12:30pm) in a river view room.||Special mentions to Joy, Nicholas and Thomas; all hotel concierge. Joy for her research into options for travel to Vung Tau. Nicholas for making it all happen seamlessly for us and his restaurant recommendations and to Thomas for both ensuring a tour excursion company was put straight after an attempt to take advantage and to getting us a table in the amazing Xu restaurant.||The breakfast options in the Canvas restaurant were amazing; from sushi and sashimi, Korean, Pho, Banh Mi, and too many other Vietnamese options to mention. Of course there were Western options, but we didn’t really want those as that’s how we eat at home. Everything was very fresh and kept replenished. ||My only feedback for the hotel to reflect on is as follows. I respect you run wedding functions out by the pool when it’s open to guests. However, to close the pool bar 2 hours early for your paying guests, without warning, is not really fair. We are paying to enjoy all the facilities, including the privilege to sit out by the pool and purchase more drinks from the bar to enjoy by the pool.||What would be even better would be to encourage a bit more initiative. I asked if my partner could have an Aperol Spritz at the pool bar. I was told it was not on the menu; but as I pointed out to the bar man, there was a bottle of Aperol proudly behind him on the bar shelf.||Overall I would still happily give this hotel a 5-star review. We would definitely come back again.

Lotte Hotel Saigon is truly an amazing place to stay. Unlike many other 5-star hotels where staff are still “imitating” good services, Lotte feels authentic and the staff and services they provided flows out quite naturally. Everyone shows a high degree of awareness and attention to the guests' needs. Before you finish your drink, a refill is quickly and quietly slipped onto your table; when you feel at loss and before you wonder what to do, a friendly staff gracefully shows up by your side quietly offering you the exact help you need. All the staff seem to have the ability to read your mind from a distance. They make you feel really at home, and nothing pretentious at all. When we reported to the reception desk that our room was too cold and the technician was unable to fix the problem, they immediately moved us to a bigger corner room on a higher floor; when we reported that the new room had some drainage issue, they ungraded our hotel benefits - all of a sudden we found that we could enjoy food and drink all day long in the exclusive Executive Lounge - FREE. We felt spoiled by the hotel’s hospitality. I decided not to report my stomach problem. I wondered what else they would do for me.😊

On the whole, it was an excellent experience that we all were very satisfied with your service. |In addition, the breakfast was so much more than we expected. Both the variety and quality are so good that we were so looking forward to it every morning. |The staffs at the reception and in the restaurant were super kind and we received a great hospitality. |Thank you so much. |I would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful hotel located right on the river, Great location for access to the local sites. The breakfast buffet the pool the ambiance all good. Looking for a place to stay as a tourist in Saigon you can’t go wrong with this hotel. The rooms with the river view of Mekong river are the best,
