My sister and I just returned home from staying at this idyllic Hotel. The atmosphere, rooms, outdoor areas and beach front location are all perfect. The beach was deserted every morning and evening and the food was so fresh and delicious we didn't want to eat anywhere else! The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. What really made it a perfect getaway was the staff. Quetzal at the front desk went out of his way to help us with everything. I would return to stay at the hotel again for sure but I especially hope to see Quetzal again.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we will come back here every time! Quetzal was amazing and had the best recommendations on food and is very Knowledgeable about the history of the island and just all around a cool guy. It felt like a scavenger hunt trying to find his recommended food spots which was so fun for us. The plunge pool and hammock were the cherry on top of this beautiful room for us. I could go on and on they definitely went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel and it was even more amazing this trip! For this vacation we booked 3 rooms for family to join us and they LOVED this boutique hotel! It is so dreamy to wake up on Playa Norte and take in all of it's beauty and peacefulness before the crowds arrive. Karen worked with me to get a golf cart rental and have a prosecco welcome set up in each room as well as decorate with rose petals for my daughter & son in law's 2nd anniversary. She made sure everything was expertly taken care of for our arrival. She was so lovely to communicate with and see each day at the hotel! Thank you Karen for pampering all 6 of us! You made this a WONDERFUL and memorable vacation! The food and drinks at the adjoining restaurant/beach club, GURU, is fresh and delicious and the service is AMAZING! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! We all felt safe and comfortable with our rooms and service! This beautiful hotel is such a gem and we can't wait to go back!

So this is a 12 room hotel with sister hotel s next to it.It is definitely a rustic,hippy vibe. The location is the best part as it is on the famous north beach.Breakfast is included but it was not good.We had just different eggs options with toast and or salad. One day we were given a fruit cup as well.You are better off going out to get food as you have so many opportunities close buy 10 min walk if even.The rooms are ok,nothing special, our first room the plunge pool was dirty and we were given another room.The 2nd room our sink faucet sprayed everywhere when trying to use it.Definet signs of whare and tear.For the price we paid, we expected more than this. The plunge pool with the room never got used as it was so uninviting. If you want a great location, this is it but,I would suggest a reg room.The staff were amazing and very helpful with giving us suggestions on places to go and eat,got a golf cart for us for the day.It was pricey though 2200 pesos. $120usd.As much as we liked the location,we didnt feel you get a good value for your money.

As a return visitor, I absolutely love this spot. However there has been a change in management that I am very concerned will affect the experience at this hotel. We love all the staff at this hotel they are incredible. However they have outsourced their breakfast to the hotel next to called Oceanvs- and we had not won but two poor experiences in that restaurant where the same surveyor ripped us off multiple times. There was one server that was incredible but it really affected our overall experience with the Hotel making me question if I would book it again.

I booked this Hotel for my 60 th birthday. There was a hiccup with my booking but Alex made it work. We love the hotel ! The resort has a sophisticated elegance I appreciate. Karen went above and beyond during our stay. Helped with bags , taxi and a lovely birthday surprise. She was always ready with a beautiful smile on her face. The best part of the resort is really the staff!!!

A lovely place to stay. The staff, Quetzel in particular, were amazing and made our stay special. I brought my sister for a birthday trip and it was great. Thanks to everyone there.

We had the most amazing experience at Lotus. From when we first walked it felt tranquil and welcoming. Alex and his amazing team truly made our 30th anniversary perfect. From Karen at the front desk to all of our amazing servers always went above and beyond Leo, Juan and Clara helped us make lifelong memories and can’t wait to come back, next year!
