Lotus Hotel

This is a very nice mod range hotel within walking distance of fort jesus. It has a bar with football on, if that's your thing, but it closes not too late. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I hurt my knee and they immediately found me some ice to put on it. Breakfast was good and we ate on the restaurant one evening which was fine for vegetarians.

Staff are friendly and kind but the facility seems stuck in the 80s. It is in urgent need of an upgrade if it is to compete against modern-day hotels and Air Bnbs'. The rooms are tiny, and have very aged furniture and fittings. They could keep the old look but with a present-day touch.

I stayed at the Lotus Hotel during a recent business trip. First, the people at the front desk, restaurant, and those caring for the rooms are excellent. Their hospitality and professionalism should be commended. ||The hotel itself is old and needs some renovation. The rooms are very, very basic. I never had a hot shower the entire time I was there. The beds were very hard, as were the pillows. They also don’t provide shampoo in the bathrooms. ||It was a quiet hotel, which was a pleasant surprise in a busy downtown city. It’s also very safe. The U.S. former President Obama stayed there when he was in college. Food was good but very basic. I was surprised they didn’t have any hot water kettle in the rooms. ||For as wonderful as the staff were, the facilities could definitely be improved. Overall a good stay.

Oooh man! The environment is so peaceful and the rooms are spacious!! I swear I slept like a baby! Very comfy beds. The reception is a bit off , wish they can change their deco otherwise I was very happy. Good breakfast too

If you're looking for a quiet business hotel smack dab in Mombasa. I would highly recommend the place no frills. Great price and amazing food. The bar is to die for to unwind after a long day.

Nice atmosphere for having a private chat. Service is acceptable if you only want a drink, the food takes too long and the presentation is so-so. Overall easy to get to if you want a quick drink after work. It's one of those places where you could go where everybody knows your name!

The rooms are clean and very comfortable. And the staff are lovely and help you with everything you can need. We needed to have breakfast at 6am and they prepared it for us perfectly in time. It's very close to the center. A great place to stay!

Lotus hotel is a Very great hotel. The area is extremely quiet and the rooms are well kept and Very clean. The rooms have amenities that are essential for use. There is a TV also. The WiFi is strong. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast and others meals. There is also a bar area that opens at 10am going forward. Security at the area is great. The hotel has been decorated with great arts that are evenly spread out across the hotel along the walls. It is a beautiful place to stay in and pocket friendly.
