Amazing food! Best pho and salt & pepper chicken ever! The pho broth is super clear, rich and flavorful – you can tell it’s been simmered for hours. Beef is tender and juicy, noodles are perfect. The fried chicken is crispy outside, juicy inside, and the basil flavor is on point! Super friendly staff, fast service, great price. Will definitely come back! Highly recommend! 🔥

I had the grilled pork pho at Lotus Pho in Tahoe, and it was absolutely superb—rich, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. It’s a perfect choice for a cold day. Although the restaurant was full, the service was still fine. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving a warm, satisfying bowl of pho.

A generous plate of herbs arrives alongside, crisp bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeños, and lime that let you tune every bowl to your exact mood. The bun platter holds its own too. This place is a machine. An awesome machine. We stopped by, they found us room at a table during tourist mayhem, and we absolutely loved our meal. I didn't catch the name of our server, because different people brought you different things. And, that was ok, because everything came out perfectly. I got the P2, and wife got the P4, and we loved them both. She got a Thai Tea and I just had a Diet Coke. P2 is the rare steak pho, and P4 is the rare steak pho with meatballs. My meal was incredible, and pictured below. Huge bowl, but I destroyed it. I was too hasty in diving into mine to take a picture of hers, I guess. Wife loved hers, but ended up just making a dent in it. Nice sized portions. I saw people come in and have to wait, but that wait was brief, even with a packed house. The place has a very energetic atmosphere, with fun music and cool walls in the dining area. You might think you are walking into tourist-quality, just OK food, but I, and the other 75 people in there, would beg to differ. You are discovering a gem within the multitude of places that might be that average tourist food. I am no pho expert, but my wife is, and she said it was stellar. Parking was tough for us, but it was worth the fight in finding a spot. I highly recommend this place for a nice warm meal to warm you up from outside, and see you there (the next time we are in the area)...

Super delicious and busy spot! We ordered the fresh spring rolls with grilled chicken, sweet and sour tofu, salt and pepper shrimp, lotus pho egg noodle soup, and shrimp noodle soup — everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. A great place to warm up and enjoy comforting, authentic Vietnamese food in Tahoe.

Cold outside but my soul got a warm hug from this place. Showed up sometime between breakfast and lunch and got seated right away. The pho arrived quickly — hot, comforting, and possibly blessed by the noodle gods. Friendly and quick service. Only feedback: I wish there were a bit more noodles to match the generous portion of meat. 10/10 would let this place emotionally support me again on a chilly day.

Awesome food! The owners aré very fríendly and kind , perfecto when you are starving 'cause the are really fast. Delicious noodles , orange chicken our fav. And stir tenderloin really really tasty.

Upon arriving, we were met with the warm tones of holiday music. The host whisked us to our seats with a cat like swiftness. Our food was delicious and came out within minutes. 10/10 #nocap #merrychristmas

First meal in Lake Tahoe and this was a blessing!! I'm a little biased to Vietnamese food but a great bowl of pho will warm you right up in this cold weather! Can't recommend this enough!!

Surprisingly was really good, I went in with low expectations but they had a vegan broth and vegetarian options which were actually great. The staff was also helpful and attentive, we got seated quick and our food also came out quick and was yummy and fresh. Definitely a great warm meal after snowboarding! The portion sizes were also very generous.

Chose this place because they were open until 11 pm on Saturdays. We ordered the combination stir fried chow fun, seafood & mixed vegetables with rice, general chicken with rice and chicken wings. I didnt know those were rice meals so I ended up eating a lot. The chicken in the chow fun was dry and not tender. The seafood & mixed vegetables was seasoned just right. The general chicken was flavorful and the chicken wings were slightly spicy and delicious. The service was okay. I was surprised with how extremely fast our food came out considering we ordered a lot (we were a big group and some of the orders I didn't mention anymore since I didn't try them). They don't clean the tables properly though.

This is fairly mediocre Vietnamese fare. I agree with other reviewers that Tahoe doesn't offer many options, and coming from an area with abundant Vietnamese restaurants, this place wouldn't stand a chance. I'm glad to have it as an option while in Tahoe, but we don't plan to return. Cafeteria‑style ambiance, with people bringing in non‑service dogs and carrying on FaceTime conversations at full volume. Service was difficult to flag down.

I ordered Bun chicken eggs rolls and Thai tea. The presentation was great but chicken was severely overcooked and tough. Salad was fresh and egg rolls very yummy. I liked the Thai tea, not overly sweet and flavorful. Perhaps, I ordered a wrong dish to begin with since this is a Pho restaurant. Will give it another try when in Heavenly. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious, great for big company. Service was friendly and quick!

You came to the right review if you're looking for the Phō-one-one ...or should i say, for the vegans out there, the "faux-one-one" bwah haha ha ha . Get it? like faux meats substitutes. That goes over better in reviews for restaurants that have faux meat products i guess. Anyway. In my experience few Phō places bother either vegan broth but these folks claim to have it. I will be back to test that if they have brown rice. Personally i had to go for Chow Fun so i dont know what the phō is glong on w/their pho anyway The noodles kicked ass the server was prompt and kept water topped up too price out the door was about $24 which isnt bad in heavenly village area. The interior is super cute with parasols making up their ceiling decor. they had xmas music playing as appropriate for the season My only complaint about them is that they don't have any faux meats. but at least there's tofu for a small $4 additional fee. oh yeah, and if you are a local and can show I.D they have 10% discount for ya

Wonderful spot when you're in Tahoe. Tons of people and still they accommodated a party of 18 for us. We called ahead. They were so patient and friendly. The food was super fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!

This place is delicious. It is one of the best pho I have had and the staff is friendly. We don't go into town too often but we are always willing to go in for this place.

We dined at this restaurant during our visit to South Lake Tahoe. (1/16/2026). Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When we politely asked the server for an extra plate of vegetables for one order of pho, he said that only one plate was allowed for two pho orders and then walked away without further explanation. The staff did not seem approachable or welcoming--there were no smiles, and the interaction felt rushed and unenthusiastic. On top of that, the pho was only warm, not hot, and did not meet our expectations in terms of taste or quality. Overall, the experience fell short.

So good! First night I had the beef ribs and steak pho. It was meaty and salty and delicious Great service, and ambiance. We came back the next day and I had the filet pho and veggie pho, spring rolls and potstickers! Must go!!!

Excellent pho bowl. Meat was tender and brith flavorful. Also had Thai tea with crystal brown sugar Boba! OMG! Another level! Love the bahn Mei sandwich also. No one else in town makes it! What can I say, I love everything I have tried.

Service could be better. I asked for a banh mi and the waiter straight up said "No!" aggressively. Then I asked a friend what'd they recommend for me and the waiter said to my table, "good thing youre here because he doesnt know how to order." I took offense to that because of the way he treated me compared to the other people at my table. After eating, the charged us for 2 groups twice overcharging us, then saying we had to pay "gratuity" and on top of that, asked for a tip.

We almost decided not to go here due to some of the reviews. I am glad we decided to check for ourselves. First was the service. We came here at 3:30pm. We sat outside and found all the workers including our server to be very friendly and helpful. The server knowing we were fans of peanut sauce brought us extra and even told us how it was usually made. Next was our food. I Ordered a W1 dry noodles with steak. My wife ordered a W4 Pad Thai with chicken. Both meals came out very fast and both were very fresh!!! I always love how the dry noodles plates take a bit for the sauce to soak into the noodles. This plate was done very well. My wife's plate had excellent flavor and her chicken was cooked right. I would highly recommend at least giving them a chance with a meal of your choice. The ambiance outside was quiet and sunny. Just a perfect experience all the way around.

Delicious! Pho here is amazing, service is amazing. We got the spicy noodle soup and the chicken pho and both were very filling. The chicken wings here are a must try! Will be back.

Very lively Viet restaurant that was cutely decorated. The food was mediocre. I had the grilled pork rice dish and pretty much that's all you get, rice and pork. Most viet restaurants have other side items that come with a rice dish. The pork was a bit dry and under seasoned. One my companions said he chicken was a tough in his soup. I live in an area with an abundance of Vietnamese food so my standards are a bit higher. This restaurant wouldn't survive if it had a lot of Viet competition but it's Tahoe so 3 stars it is.

I love Pho especially when it's authentic southern pho. The portion of meat is a little less but the broth was good, especially for around this area. Pricing is not to high either. I wasn't expecting good, but they are a solid 7/10. It's good for this area.

Not sure why this place has bad reviews. The pho tasted amazing: broth and all. Waiters checked on us frequently and refilled our waters. Highly recommend if you're looking for something to warm you up in the cold weather. 10/10

Ambiance seems very busy, but food wise is average at best. Now...for the service...lack of communication and service is provided with a lot of attitude. There was a customer that waited over 30 minutes and no one answered her question about her to go order. I had to ask for my to go order for them to look into my order. I get it...not a lot of pho places in Lake Tahoe, but the service needs to improve.

EAT HERE! We wandered around Stateline looking for a restaurant or brew pub to have something to eat. Went into a couple spots, had an app at one of them - knew we wouldn't be eating there. So we kept walking and found Lotus Pho. We sat outside on an inclement evening and were waited on immediately. The salt and pepper calamari was different - in a good way, a real treat. Followed by chow fun with grilled shrimp, which was quite good. We'll be back.

A surprisingly reliable barometer for a great Asian restaurant is a modest 3 or 3.5-star rating on Yelp, and Lotus Pho fits the bill perfectly. After a long day of snowboarding, the family, famished but hopeful, stumbled upon the unassuming Lotus Pho. The interior immediately makes an impression for sure: multicolored umbrellas hang from the ceiling and wallpaper is boldly adorned with the word "noodles" among Vietnamese words I wouldn't be able to translate to you. Anyway, service was prompt as water and menus arrived as soon as we got seated. After ordering, the food followed within ten minutes too. We started out with the salt and pepper calamari which was pretty crispy, peppery, and savory. Def ideal for replenishing post-slope appetites. I also ordered the grilled chicken banh mi, and while the chicken itself could have used more seasoning, the inclusion of pâté (unexpected and typically accompanied with a surcharge) brings the sandwich to another level. The portion sizes are all generous too. My dad had the wonton soup (another highlight). The broth was exceptionally clean and easily among the best clear broths I've had in recent memory. The wontons were hearty, and the abundance of vegetables inside added a bright balance. I will note that prices are admittedly on the higher side, but understandable given the restaurant's prime location (just two min from the Heavenly Gondola). For me, Lotus Pho is absolutely worth a visit--and I'll definitely be returning. In this neck of the woods where good Asian food remains scarce, it's an easy 5 star pho restaurant.

The love style and vibe of the place. The price isn't outrageous and I've found more expensive in Sacramento!!! Definitely recommend. Broth is smooth and rich and the meat was tender and flavored so well. I would come back here if I was ever to come back to Tahoe please please take the chance here it taste so good

The servers were very kind upon walking in, and the smell was amazing. We ordered the P1 pho, and chicken wings which were recommended to us. Killed wings! Some of the best garlic deep fried wings I had, beats so many popular chains I've been to. The pho was so flavorful and I made it extra spicy for myself, and really felt that kick. Great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend here for a warm and delicious bite! Especially right after snowboarding.

We visited during peak season, so the wait time was quite long, but at least we were able to wait inside, which was nice. You know how people talk about a chef's special touch? Well, this chef definitely has it! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The flavors were incredible. Plus, the fact that they are dog-friendly was a huge bonus for me. The only downside was that the dishes didn't arrive in order, wouldn't have wanted my appetizer to come last. But given how busy it was, that was probably the reason. We loved it so much that we're planning to come back on the other days of our stay!

Visited LT for the first time and was looking for a Pho spot and all I can say is this place did not disappoint. The beef noodles had an amazing flavor and the service was 10/10. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Lotus Pho in South Lake Tahoe is fantastic! The service is fast and very friendly. The pho has a rich, flavorful broth that tastes amazing, and the garlic chicken wings are a must-try. Highly recommend!

Seems to be the only pho place around, came around 11am! Wasn't busy, got sat down quickly. Server came, took our order, took a minute to get our waters, and a bit to get our food. Other than that, food was great. Ordered two #1's and springrolls My only thing I hate about these restaurants is that they refuse to get soda machines, $4 for a can soda is a bit ridiculous... but they had a nice clean bathroom at least

The pho here was pretty fantastic. The broth is solid and the greens that come on the side were fresh and plentiful. It took a really long time for my noodles to soften up enough to eat which was kind of a bummer because I was famished but after about 15 minutes of wiggling them and helping the broth get inside the noodle ball, they softened up enough to separate and eat. I was a little sad that there were virtually no veggies in the soup itself. I'm used to onions, broccoli, carrots and maybe cauliflower. Even zucchini sometimes, but this pho was pretty much just meat, noodles, broth and whatever you added from the plate of herbs, beans sprouts, lime and noodles that you traditionally get with pho. I really wish there were more veggies. Next time I'll see if I can request that they be added. The ambience is nice. It's cute and casual with lots of tables and space. Could be a cute (and budget) date night spot if it's not a special occasion.

You might see bad reviews of this place and then you might see reviews that say "I have no idea why they have bad reviews I'm glad I didn't listen to them" I'm here to tell you.. listen to them! We too did not listen. The pho had absolutely no flavor it was hot water with flavorless toppings. Even the green onions had no flavor. It was quite sad! The spring rolls were not bad and I am assuming other dishes would probably be better. The staff were very nice and the inside has a friendly atmosphere.

Healing soup here!!! Service was attentive and bathroom was really clean. I had the pork and shrimp vermicelli bowl which was hellllla good. Great salad-adjacent choice and it had really wonderful lemongrass tumeric shrimp. My gf got the pho #1. Super flavorful and well seasoned! She loved it and I was very impressed by how good it smelled from across the table. But the beef was not rare so all you weirdos who freaked out when you saw that and left negative reviews because of it won :( Stands up to any pho restaurant in the bay otherwise!

I've now eaten here twice. First time in the restaurant and second time to go. My experience in the restaurant was not good as the woman serving us brought my pho to the wrong table and served it to someone. When she realized she went over to the other table, that she had just served, and brought it back to me. REALLY? First of all DO NOT order the calamari, what a joke for $15 it literally had about 11 pieces in it and it tastes smoked. I dont feel like the broth in the pho is very flavorful and trying to park in their parking lot is horrible. I called and asked if they could bring it out to me because I had been circling the lot for over 20 minutes and he said no. I had to double park, suggested by the person on the phone, to run in and pick up my order. There are other much better Pho restaurants in the area.

Came here with my friends to end our trip in Tahoe and I was very disappointed. I got the Bun Thit Nuong w Egg Rolls (grilled pork) and the noodles tasted like they were undercooked. They were crunchy, when they shouldn't have been. The noodles itself looked dry, like al dente pasta...but this isn't suppose to be pasta. The egg rolls had an interesting texture of the wrapper (and not in a good way) it was hard to chew. I also took a sip of my friends pho broth and it was very salty. If you are looking for a good Viet restaurant this is not the place to go.

The vibe is uber cool and food quality is on point ! I had vegan pho here. It was piping hot, delicious and came with standard side of sprouts, basil, lemon wedge which was perfect for cold Tahoe afternoon! I got the seating fast and food service was quick! Staff did check on me for water and gave hot water as requested. Would definitely go there again for pho and try other vegetarian options! PS- Vegan pho is not listed in their menu but they do serve it.

I don't know why this place has such low ratings. Every time we come here - the pho is on point and the service is great. 13 yr old son ordered Spicy Beef Noodles which he dug into too fast to take a picture but he said it was delicious!

Ambiance was good. Larger restaurant, plenty of seating early on a Saturday, no wait. Service was average - 20% gratuity included for our party of 7 (5 kids). We ordered two combo phos and one meatball/steak pho. Also wonton soup and fried egg rolls. Food was okay. Women's restroom did not have hand soap. Would return but wouldn't go out of our way.
