Lough Inagh Lodge

We stayed for 3 nights during the recent storms and the hotel was so nice and comfortable. The fire in the Bar was so warm, so we decided to eat in the Bar. The food was very good but the smoked salmon was excellent. For rest and relaxation there is no better place, the rooms were super. We will be back in July. Breathtaking! Right in the middle of the valley. Stunning views. A perfect place to switch off and relax. Rooms are big and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely staff. Breakfast can be delivered to the room and enjoyed with the view from bed. I wish I stayed longer! Will definitely be back

We stayed for a weekend in Lough Inagh Lodge and couldn’t compliment it enough. We were treated to the James Joyce suite as we had our dog with us. The room was spacious and had a doorway very close by which we appreciated for bringing our dog out. Each and every member of the staff was friendly, attentive and made us feel at home for the entire stay. They served delicious breakfast and dinner and provided warming tea in front of an open fire later in the evening. The location of the lodge is perfect also. Situated in a remote area surrounded by beautiful nature. We can’t wait to return to the lodge soon to explore some more.

Beautiful people, atmosphere and service||Visited with extended family for our Dad’s 80th, 10 adults and 6 kids. Were treated like royalty from the moment we landed Saturday afternoon until we left Sunday lunchtime. Delicious food and kind and thoughtful service from beginning to end. Thank you to Maire, Dominic and the rest of the family and staff, would recommend for any occasion. Fabulous experience .

We stayed at the Lodge two nights and wish we had booked for a week. It rained our whole stay but we were treated so warmly, with tea and scones in front of a roaring fire each night, that it hardly mattered. Arthur was so charming, regaling us with wonderful stories. The other guests were all Irish, including a large family celebrating an 80th birthday with songs and laughter. We loved every minute here. You will, too.

Without beating about the bush just go. Amazing place to relax with friends and family. Maura and co are fantastic hosts you will be made feel incredibly welcome. Food is out of this world and all the staff go out of their way to make your stay unforgettable. 10/10

We stayed for two nights in Inagh Lodge with dinner one of the nights for €660 and we brought our dog Bert. Maire, Thomas, Dominic, the gentleman in the dining room and the girls at breakfast were so kind to us. My husband had a tooth infection and was in huge pain. Thomas was waiting with salt in hot water for him to bring up to bed. The dinner was delicious - very generous servings of tasty monkfish. We had the seafood platter in the sitting room and it was lovely too. Thank you all at the Lodge for the warm hospitality

We had the pleasure of staying at this love lodge while walking the Western Way. The warm welcome, beautiful vistas, large and comfortable room and the delicious food made this a special stop. |We highly recommend the toasted sandwiches, the oysters and the baked salmon.

This place was a lifesaver during my 2009 hike near the Connemara Way. Friends dropped me off so I could hike the tallest peak in Galway, gave me a brightly colored vest, and suggested I hitchhike back. I was never comfortable with that idea, so I trudged along the country roads, passing beautiful rain drizzled scenery, and many painted sheep. Eventually, I had to give up. I came across the Lough Inagh Lodge and it seemed the perfect resting spot. Perhaps they would have a phone? They did. Perhaps I could get food? Hearty brown Irish bread, delicious butter, soup, and a celebratory Irish cheese plate. It's a wonderful life trekking through Ireland.
