Loughcrew Estate, Coffee Shop and Gardens

I didn't do the walk as I think it's too expensive, especially when you pay money in the cafe and then have to pay full price, could do some discount Not overly busy (a few did come in for the mass in an hour or so ) but a bit messy. Things like no milk sugar etc on the tablets adding to the workload of busy staff. Lovely smell of I think bacon cooking and the menu looked good Tasty coffee and the girlfriend enjoyed her hot chocolate with a tasty coconut (I think) cookie for average prices Not too fair from loughcrew cairns in a car, so if visiting the cairns then worthwhile visiting (just watch the roads)

Having our wedding at Loughcrew Estate was a dream come true, everything was so beautiful. I still can’t get over all the amazing pictures, the people we got to work with, the accommodations, everything. If you’re considering having your wedding here, I highly recommend doing it. Our day was filled with so much love and care, especially from the team that made it all happen. Thank you to, Emily, Margy, Roisin, Rose, Aisling, Ash, Dermot, Cylir, and Diana. You are all amazing people and we will miss you!

I recently visited a beautiful and peaceful place that is perfect for leisurely family walks. The surroundings are picturesque, with well-maintained paths, plenty of greenery, and charming spots to sit and relax. Everything is clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle, offering a serene atmosphere for spending quality time with loved ones. I truly enjoyed every moment there.

I visited Loughcrew Estate, Coffee Shop and Gardens on a weekend and had a pleasant experience. The place is very beautiful, with a calm atmosphere and surrounded by nature. The food is simple but good, and the staff are friendly and polite. However, the service was a bit slow, and my order took quite a while to arrive. I understand this can happen on busy days. I’m planning to go back soon to explore the gardens more, as the location is definitely worth a visit.

Family Day Out The Fairy Trail is an exciting interactive sensory trail which gets children exploring Loughcrew Gardens and it is now open all year round! To complete the treasure hunt-style trail, they will get an activity booklet and map and will have to solve clues and answer questions in order to get to the next part of it. Fairy houses, giant ants and a fairy forest await! There is plenty of room for children to play on the garden’s lawns at Loughcrew. Children are welcome to bring their bikes and if they get a little peckish, the coffee shop will satisfy all appetites. There is a little play area next to the coffee shop too.

Loughcrew offers a wide range of different walks on offer which will take you over a range of different vistas including woodland, lakes and ponds, rolling hills and curated landscape gardens. Choose from multiple trails or explore landscape gardens for varied vistas and preferred terrain. Gardens are great for buggies, families, and flat terrain lovers, while adventure and lakeside trails offer more challenge. Lovely place. Found it on Google maps by chance. Spent a couple of hours in the afternoon with the family looking around. Although it is a lovely place, when you add the entrance fees and the costs of drinks and a sandwich in the cafe, it soon mounted up. I would return again, especially as you can bring your dog. I'd probably bring a picnic next time though to keep costs down.

Beautiful gardens. Nice for s short walk. The forest walk is there for a bit of a longer walk. Fairy trail appeals to younger kids and it is fun to walk around readying the fair trail. The coffee shop is nice and the sandwiches and coffees were lovely. There are also a range of deserts to try.
