This Is the No. 1 Country to Travel to For Luxury Shopping

"France, home to the Louis Vuitton, Hermès, and Chanel flagship stores, means you can often get a much better price in Paris than if you were to buy elsewhere using local pricing strategies. France also has its own tax refund scheme, where tourists can get up to a 20 percent refund." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. Beautiful exhibition and lovely chocolate. Staff in the door and chocolatier were nice and friendly, but not in the actual store. A grown man scolding me for a misunderstanding is an embarrassment to the store and the brand. Kindness and clear communication will take you farther 😉

In my photos, these are 2 different locations but across from each other. I had no idea I waited in line for the LV Cafe (and whatever else is inside). I was getting a pair of shoes and had to walk across the way. Luckily, I was waiting for it to open and not in the 45min+ line in the afternoon. This LV location was the ONLY one that had my size in the trainers I wanted (a half size, which is rare to find....it was meant to be). I fell in love with these shoes at the Saint Germain location. They were a gift to myself for my 45th birthday 🤩 I was greeted by THE kindest young gentleman named Max. I truly enjoyed having a conversation about various things with him. I was very impressed with him. He helped me purchase my shoes, explained the VAT tax, and what to do at the airport. I really hope to see Max again in my future visit. I'll go back to just say hi to him. Merci Beaucoup Max!!! You're a 10 out of 10 for kindness

My girlfriend and I spent the afternoon in this store with Chia-Ling. She was delightful. It's hard to describe our whole experience, however, if I could give 10 stars I would. Miss Ling brought out coats for me to try on, different bags for my friend. She went to another floor and got a pair of boots I was looking for. She ordered from another store two coats for me to try. She ordered a belt for me that was being released in a couple days. And it wasn't just Miss Ling, another SA kept stopping by and adding his thoughts. When I went to pick up my belt, another SA was just as delightful he wrapped my belt up in a pretty box and bow, got my paperwork together and had me sit and relax with some sparkling water. Miss Ling's communication was spot on from confirming my appt the day before to her follow up after I left the store. I will definitely be back!!

Thank you guys especially YAHUI PAN! You guys are best. I didn't have a bad time here like others said. Actually had a good time. Not crowded at all as the Champs Elysees's one

This is the epitome of retail therapy. This amazing team would make you feel like VIP even when I’m only purchasing a bottle of fragrance. From the store director to housekeeping everyone would treat you like royalty. Nonetheless, Siriwong and Arnauld are my to go to people. They genuinely care about their customers. Besides who needs the hustle bustle of Champs Elysees sorry (Tom :) or Place Vendôme when you can have a full retreat & amazing experience at la Samaritaine. Besides the team of Dallas, TX I have yet to meet a more dedicating and hardworking team.

Rude Thai salesperson named Siriwong in the men’s section on the 3rd floor is the one to avoid. She totally ruins the image of luxury brand with her cold and arrogant personality. Unlike the other LV salespersons in the others store, this person in particular has no interest in conversation. A lady who sold me a cheap croissant in the subway’s convenient store even impressed me more. I had submitted a complaint to the LV headquarter and yet received no feedback. So i reckon they want their LV brand to be perceived that way. Shame!
