We got more attention from the cat roaming the inside restaurant than from the staff. What put us off: - we were sat at a dirty table - the supplied cutlery was dirt (very dirty) - the waiter threw the menus at the next door table once we had ordered. - would not supply butter for bread when requested (“Olive oil is better!”) - Seasonal greens were served way earlier than the meal and was only just warm when they arrived, cold but the time that the meal arrived. - wine order was forgotten and we had to prompt for it. - wine was grumpily dropped on the table with tumblers and we had to ask for wine glasses. - finished plates sat on our table for 20 minutes with attention from the waiters. - the waiter were all dressed like they were homeless. - we had to ask twice to pay the bill. ….and much, much more. Thankfully the food was okay.

Cosy taverna well located close to Vouliagmeni beachfront and the best choice if you’re looking for fresh fish. The staff is friendly and any table gets watermelon for free, very refreshing for both, ahold as well as kids, especially on hot summer days. Just one thing: I prefer longer breaks between the courses - when I’m in holiday I don’t wanna rush my food.

Our first meal in Greece - we got a recommendation from a car parking attendant. 10/10 Try the Home cooked section of the menu. Baked eggplant Lemon chicken Sardines Fava Greek salad Greens So lovely / Thankyou

Welcoming and very professional staff, high quality cuisine 🇬🇷👌. For our part, we ate seafood.🦐🐟 We recommend without hesitation.

We were warmly welcomed to our table and served bread and bottled water promptly. Beautiful authentic Greek cuisine with a traditional atmosphere. Everything was lovely especially the eggplant dish and octopus. The service is warm and friendly 🇬🇷

Got served old stale sardines which i find unacceptable for a place with such a history. This used to be the go-to tavern for fresh fish, it’s really disappointing how basic and even stale were the dishes I got. Really good location however I think it’s not worth it unless you get a salad, fries and a drink. All in all it’s probably good for basic tourism. I hope it goes back to its former good standards.

I have no idea how long I've been coming to this restaurant but it has been close to four decades and it has never ever disappointed me I have taken friend of mine from almost every country in the world America United Kingdom Italy France Cayman Islands Brazil Argentina Puerto Rico Germany Malta China and a plethora of other countries that I'm currently not able to remember because I just can't. So one thing that I remember very very well is the impeccable service I have received upon every single visit another thing I can remember is how delicious everything I tasted was and still is like I said I've been coming to this place for a really long time there are dishes that they no longer serve that I wish they did but they have replaced them with maybe even better ones. This is truly a spectacular restaurant with delicious food of impeccable quality without its needing to pretend to be something which it is not it is just pure taste flavor and ecstasy. I guess I can consider myself lucky to be living around the corner from this uniquely wonderful place. For all you vegans out there this place most definitely can cater after your likes I said at least one third of the menu is vegan I say this because I have many vegan friends I am not vegan but they are and if they tell me it is one of the best meals I've ever had I guess you too will enjoy it. 11/27/22 update everything is still amazing, and the fish soup is divine!!!!
