We visited Loula's multiple times on a 4 day stay from Calgary. Service was wonderful. All the staff are a pleasure to deal with and a smile on their faces. Both times we had to wait but it was only about 15 minutes and there was plenty of seating available during this time. The food was fresh and delicious. My wife and daughter both agreed the French toast was a 10. We enjoyed everything and have recommended it to friends already. We'll be back.

Google
This was such a neat restaurant inside a beautiful historic building. The service was amazing and quick despite having a full house. We were helped by almost everyone on staff and each of them were so sweet! The eggs benedict, caramel latte, and pie were all absolutely delicious!

Rachael Thatcher

Google
The food was fresh but the flavor was bland. When I was here 6 years ago everything seemed better. Disappointing compared to my last visit.

Google
Do not pass this place up. So delicious. The eggs Benedict and lemon stuffed French toast are to die for. Everything is made from scratch and the price is so reasonable.

Ann Mabry

Google
Excellent place for breakfast. Fresh ingredients, great service and lovely people! Big portions so come hungry!

Google
This place was delicious! The biscuits and gravy were delicious and so was the the breakfast burrito. The pancakes were huge and fluffy and had that nice crispy edge to them! Was a great little place! Heard it can get pretty busy on the weekend so could possibly have a wait. But would definitely come back and try more!!!

Google
Cannot complain about the food. We got the lemon stuffed French toast and breakfast burrito. Both excellent. We waited an hour and to get in, and then waited 45 minutes after ordering to get our food. Our waitress felt sorry though and sent us home with some pie on the house which was really nice.

Google
All pies are good. The huckleberry peach pie at Loula’s is truly perfection. The best pie I have ever had. Awesome crust. Peaches not overcooked. Huckleberries add a little zing. (Lunch was also great and worth the wait).

Yelp
Thanks Yelp for a delicious breakfast spot in downtown Whitefish! We visited here twice for breakfast, it's that good! My favorite was the cherry boysenberry pie, loved the tart juicy cherries and slightly sweet berries, the crust was light with a sugar layer! Must try!!! The poached eggs on the Benedict were perfectly runny and creamy, the sauce was only slightly buttery and ham was shaved and slightly browned! Another must try! The service was great, my coffee was always topped off! Tip- get here early or expect a wait (worth it)!

Yelp
To is place was a charming little artsy diner. Everything was great and the service was super friendly. I ordered eggs with a side of veggies and Cajun sausage. The Cajun sausage was sooooo good. Def get that if you can handle a bit of heat. Boyfriend got the breakfast patty melt. Wow! This sandwhich is genius to me I can't believe more places don't make this. It was soooooo good. We took a slice of chocolate cream pie and huckle/mixed Berry pie home. The filling for the chocolate cream was GREAT. I just wished there was more crust. The crust to filling ratio seemed off. The huckle berry pie was our first time trying it and it was sooooo delicious. This no place is a gem for breakfast

Michael R.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Service food and PIE. Are always the best. We go here every time we are in Whitefish.

Bethany G.

Yelp
Tasty breakfast in a cool setting! Good service even when it seemed the staff was slim.

Yelp
Wow! What a great restaurant. We came here by recommendation from a local and it exceeded our expectations. I ordered the ruben on gluten free bread, delicious! My partner ordered the burger with their wavy fries & a local beer. I had the famous huckleberry lemonade. They are famous for their pies. Thrilled they offer gluten free desserts too. Most of the desserts were sold out but closing time. Service was great! Everyone was kind to offer assistance. Our server was super cool & hip, funny and helpful. Loved the high ceilings & historical charm of this restaurant. Hard wood floors & lots of light made the place cheerful. We highly recommend and look forward to eating here next time we are in town

Yelp
Wonderful place to have brunch! Shauna was our server and greeted us with a smile! She was super sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. Inside Loula's cafe is full of funky positive vibes with local artwork on the walls and lots of families eating together. Not too noisy and very relaxed. A huge butterfly was hanging in one corner and the other had a beautiful live Christmas tree. There were 4 of us and we ordered the stuffed French toast as an appetizer. We devoured it so fast (split it 4 ways) that I forgot to take a photo first. All of us loved it and it did not need syrup. The raspberry sauce was sweet and tart and the lemon cheese balanced those flavors. Devine. We ordered the following afterwards: The Big Horn- loaded with eggs, sausage bites and veggies. Healthy and hearty. The Eggs Benedict- this was the BEST! The ham was soft and shaved, piled high on two english muffins layered with over easy eggs and truffle oil Hollandaise sauce. 5 stars. Cheesy Grits- these were not thin but thick with a cheddar flavor and tasted like stone ground grits (slightly crunchy). Breakfast Enchiladas- hearty with super crispy hash browns (yum) and pinto beans (just ok) and a thick tortilla filled with sausage, scrambled eggs, veggies and cheese. The red sauce on top was the perfect level of spice. Soooo good! Overall, a great experience and lives up to all the hype by the locals!

Yelp
We've been eating at Loula's for over 20 years and it's always good and consistent. Breakfast and lunch are both good but the pie is the star of the show there. They have about 15 different pies and all are wonderful! This last trip we had the huckleberry/cherry and the huckleberry/blackberry warmed with vanilla ice cream and although both were great, we both preferred the huckleberry/cherry. Always a must stop when in Whitefish!

Maggie A.

Yelp
After a week in Whitefish, this was our final meal on a Friday morning. We put our name in on the yelp waitlist and it was pretty busy when we walked in, but were greeted immediately and sat shortly after. The space is very open and welcoming and the food is very classic breakfast. The four of us ordered a breakfast burrito (has beans in it - love the addition), an omelet, eggs Benedict (hollandaise sauce, I believe, has truffle in it, which we found a smidge overwhelming), French toast, coffees, and my personal favorite - a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Such a cozy meal, would recommend & would visit again!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly The various options on the menu make it hard to pick what to order

Shane P.

Yelp
I have heard so much good things about this Cafe since I moved to Whitefish and today I finally tried paid this nice establishment a visit. They had a nice selection on their menu so the decision was tough, but I ended up ordering the biscuits and gravy, it was delicious. The service was good even though they were super busy. I'm glad that I was able to try this place and I'll definitely be back.

almina k.

Yelp
HORRIBLE customer service. We were traveling and had my kitten with us, I specifically asked the host if we could slide the carrier under the table (otherwise why would I put my name down) and he said it'd be fine. After waiting 40min for a table and being seated this extremely disrespectful, horrible manager of a woman told us no pets allowed in the rudest tone. Saying things along the lines of "i don't know who told you otherwise, no one would say that, i make the rules here" implying we lied.... disgusting behavior. will never return.

Mabel L.

Yelp
This is a nice breakfast place and it gets busy. Therefore make sure you add yourself onto the Yelp waitlist before you arrive so you don't have to wait too long. The pies are DELICIOUS!!!! I did order the Benny and thought it was average. Nothing amazingly special about it. However come for the pie!

Toni L.

Yelp
Good food, we had a burger, chicken strips, biscuits and gravy!, friendly staff and the best home made pies

Jhunelyn T.

Yelp
I never fail to stop at Loula's Cafe whenever I am in town. Everything I have ever eaten here has been amazing. The cafe is settled in center of downtown Whitefish. There is always a 15-20 min wait but it's definitely worth it. I always check in and stroll around town until my table is ready. The interior is always hustling and bustling. I love the homey feel it gives me. The service is always nice. As far as food goes, I always try whatever huckleberry special they have that day. I've had their huckleberry coffee cake, pancake, and pie. They are all very delicious! The huckleberry is almost like if a blueberry and a cherry had a baby. I highly recommend trying anything huckleberry when you are in Montana because it's one of their regional specialties! Loula's Cafe is a lovely place for breakfast and brunch. I highly recommend stopping by if you have a chance to!

Aditi G.

Yelp
Amazing food and pleasant service Lemon stuffed french toast 5/5 French toast never tasted so delicious! Keylime pie with huckleberry sauce 5/5 When a restaurant suggests keeping room for their fresh desserts, you take them seriously. The pie was delicious: perfectly balanced fruit filling with a nice crust. Thr sauce complemented it quite well.

Brian B.

Yelp
Cozy spot with great breakfast and warm, attentive service. Hashbrowns are crispy/crunchy and stringy, not fluffy in the middle. Hit the spot but pretty oily. Coffee was not great but hot refills kept on coming. Portions are very good for what you pay. Didn't try the pie but it looks like if you want the good stuff you need to arrive early since they were out of almost everything.

Lissa T.

Yelp
Most delicious stuffed French toast anywhere. The eggs Benedict were also perfection.

Sami S.

Yelp
Well worth the wait.. you walk downstairs into a small town cafe. We have never tried huckleberry until Loula's and it did not disappoint. If you love eggs, I would highly recommend the Eggs Benedict. They were cooked to perfection and filled with flavor.

Amy W.

Yelp
According to fellow Yelpers, we had to try Loula's Cafe in Whitefish. We chose to dine here on our last day visiting Glacier National Park on the way to the airport. I am so glad I made reservations that morning. I highly recommend doing so if you are planning on visiting. We did have to wait a few minutes for a table once we checked in at the host stand. There is a diner type setting with stools and then tables scattered around the restaurant. I really struggled with ordering breakfast or lunch as we were sitting down around 11:00 am. I ended up ordering the Lemon Stuffed French Toast, and it was so tasty and decadent. Everyone really liked their entrees as well. Service was quick and efficient even though it was very busy. We also got a Mixed Berry with Hucks piece of pie to go. Highly recommend Loula's Cafe if in the area!

Sarah B.

Yelp
I'm such a fan of this food and place! It's a quick little trip into memory lane if you ate at a small diner growing up. I highly recommend. Just get something simple. Also, a lot of GF options!

Michelle B.

Yelp
You are greeted with a smile. Everyone is sweet, kind and hard working. Food is so yummy and can't forget their pie!!! Oh my!

Jessi B.

Yelp
We love Loula's! This was our second time there while on vacation...5 years apart and still amazing!! Especially the huckleberry pie!!

Michael D.

Yelp
We have tried Loula's for both breakfast and lunch. Staff is courteous and professional, food is amazing. I had the 3rd St burrito and hot beef sandwich. Everything tasty and freshly made. And the pue. It's a must. Huckleberry mixed berry. Enough said

Nicole L.

Yelp
A great home cooked breakfast! This place was fast, cozy and delicious. We ate here twice during our stay in Whitefish. We went on a Monday and Wednesday and were added to the waitlist and seated after a short wait. We both ordered the breakfast patty melt and loved it. We also got pie to go! Will definitely come back if we ever visit again.

Dan D.

Yelp
We arrived in town and needed lunch! Loula's Cafe was on our must try list. It didn't disappoint. Everyone found a sandwich off their liking and they were all great. Only one of us saved room for pie though several tastes were sampled. Cute spot, super friendly staff and great food. Who could ask for more?

Jennifer V.

Yelp
All I can say is WOW! The food here is the best breakfast I have ever had. The hollandaise is out of this world... lemony and bright. Eggs perfectly poached. Servings are perfectly portioned... left feeling satiated and not stuffed. Bottomless coffee was smooth. You will wait for a table but the waitlist was accurate. Do not miss this treasure! It will be our new "go to"!

Lori D.

Yelp
Worth the wait! Join the wait list ahead of time here on yelp. Save room for pie. Service and ambience were great

Nick F.

Yelp
I went on a first date here almost a year ago, and we're still together today, so shout out to Loula's for being that cafe. It was morning and the place was packed, so there was a 10 minute wait, and we waited in the back. I was a little nervous for the first date, so I microdosed some mushrooms for social lubricant and to better relate. We were seated and I got coffee, she got juice. Immediately I noticed she had a nice caboose. It was her eyes though that drew me in and kept me loose. We both ordered the eggs Benedict off of her suggestion, as both had that predilection, and soon the conversation flowed in such a direction that it was like we had know each other before and in each other, saw much reflection. Naturally I got a mini erection. We finished our food, well at least I did mine. Of hers she ate half, then the rest I imbibed. This place has great ambiance and lots of artwork and the service was friendly.

SK K.

Yelp
Heard about Loula's from the owner of our Airbnb. Was so good the first day we came back the next morning. Loved everything about this place. From Maria and her great smile and friendly personality to the delicious pies, and great omelets and egg combo's. A must try for breakfast when in town!

Kelley B.

Yelp
What a great place for breakfast! We absolutely loved it here with the cozy diner feel and great food; so much that we went twice, which we never do. I will say I loved the savory items but the sweet ones (pancakes, stuffed French toast) were too overwhelming sweet for me. The pies we good! I preferred the chocolate and the apple over the cherry blackberry since they left the blackberry seeds in it. The wait list option is great and I highly recommend it! The staff was nice as well. Would definitely return here if we visit again.

Erin H.

Yelp
A great cafe right in Whitefish. Absolutely packed on a Sunday mid morning. The food was fantastic, and well worth the wait. Our waitress was very friendly.

Mahsius S.

Yelp
Awesome food, cordial service, lovely ambience. One of the best breakfasts we had during our Glacier National Park tour!

Whitney M.

Yelp
Best breakfast I had in Whitefish while there. The burrito was amazing. I ordered it with bacon instead of sausage. Also tried the French Toast which was delicious as well. Definitely worth the unavoidable wait for a table.

Rolly T.

Yelp
Great to find this place for brunch. Big selection in menu. But must make room for pies. For starters I had an huckleberry peach pie with whipped cream. Glad I did, didn't want to miss out of dessert. Great pie. They have a great selection of pies. Since I had pie for starter. Went for their salad with blackened salmon. Perfect light dressing. Their omelets were really good as well. The beef barley soup is really hearty and flavorful. My friend is vegetarian and was able to get great salad with three bean Patty. We shared a raspberry lemon stuffed French toast. Amazing flavors. Service is helpful. Bathroom is very clean. Lots of street parking.

Leslie N.

Yelp
A quintessential small town Café. Service was great. I had the lemon stuffed French toast which was to die for. Caution I would get the half serving as it is huge.

Brooke G.

Yelp
Such a great breakfast spot! The staff was incredibly kind to us and set my little boys up with everything they needed without me even having to ask . They put a candle in the pie at the end for my son's third birthday too- and that PIE! Key lime with huckleberry on top- so delicious! We will be back before we continue our road trip!

Rene B.

Yelp
Food portions were generous. And tasty as well. Serve hardy cups of coffee or cocoa. Friendly service and in this size town there appears to be regulars. The ambiance is casual. Music playing in the background but no loud enough you can't have a pleasant conversation with someone. If I am ever in this area again I would like to come here again.

Scott R.

Yelp
I love this place. Every time I visit Whitefish, I have breakfast here. I can't wait to come back.

Kendall N.

Yelp
Yelp recommend so I had to go while I was in town. MAKE RESERVATIONS, even for breakfast! Great old building, cool space but a little loud. I don't know if there's an elevator so be careful because it is in a basement. A very nice basement. The guy who greeted us was a bit cranky but I am glad we kept a stiff upper lip and stayed despite him. Our waitress was lovely and attentive even though she was running her but off. Our food was amazing, really stellar. I only wish we lived in the area to bring home a pot pie for dinner. Pricing was reasonable for the quality. You will not be disappointed!

Randi W.

Yelp
Good food; good coffee and mimosas; very efficient and super friendly, really great staff!

Mike B.

Yelp
Great meals! I had the breakfast enchilada. Interesting twist on the breakfast burrito. Spicy enough to be interesting but not so hot that it would be uncomfortable for those unused to spicy food. Wife had the daily special, basically bread pudding with bacon. Always an adherent to "bacon improves anything " and this proves it. Service was prompt and attentive but never annoying. Portions generous but not overwhelming. (Too large portions a problem for me who was raised to finish everything on my plate) Was pleased to see open spacing between tables. Very comfortable, clean and well maintained.

Darryl T.

Yelp
Decent food with large portions but service is extremely poor. The waitress was rude and condescending. She was also seen trying to rush other patrons out before they were done eating.

Matt W.

Yelp
Came here for brunch when visiting from out of state. Amazing! Best grilled cheese I've had in a long time! Also, get the huckleberry peach pie here, it's to die for!

Ann D.

Yelp
My family loves this place! It's a required stop whenever we are near Whitefish. Items from the breakfast and lunch menus are all delicious and solid. But the star of the show is always the pies. Today we had the raspberry peach, chocolate cream, and Dutch apple. Each was perfection in their own way. The service is very friendly and welcoming.

taylor m.

Yelp
Loula's is always a must when we visit Whitefish! We look forward to getting a slice of pie. This time it was the key lime pie with huckleberry sauce - absolutely delicious! Service was great and its a cozy little downstairs spot.

Chris Z.

Yelp
Food was good. Don't be tempted by Huckleberry Lemonade, it's very sweet and has very little Huckleberry flavor. The Huckleberry chutney however is amazing and I highly recommend trying that with whatever you order. The Huckleberry pie was good, but $7 a slice gets a bit spendy. I spent about $85 to feed our family of four, however we were on vacation and didn't really hold back on our order since we had read such great reviews. Service was a bit slow but it was very busy. The atmosphere is good, it's not a very big place and it's in the basement of the building so you have to go down to get on the list, we waited about 10-15 minutes. It was a little loud but not too bad.

Jim G.

Yelp
This place gets packed because the food is amazing. Everything they make is good but I definitely recommend trying the lemon stuffed French toast.

Janice S.

Yelp
So happy we found Loula's while visiting Whitefish. The long wait for a table was well worth it!

Savannah F.

Yelp
Great food, amazing service. And get a slice of the huckleberry pie to go. You won't regret it. The ambiance is very cute as well. If we ever come back to Whitefish, we will definitely eat breakfast here!

Brian S.

Yelp
Great spot. Will make this my 'go to' spot in Whitefish when I pass thru again. Lively, active and lots of smiling patrons. Service was excellent. My coffee cup never revealed it's bottom to me. Breakfast is my fav meal of the day and my omelet was delicious loaded with fresh ingredients. I know it's hard to screw up bacon but mine was crispy, fresh and delish. Will be back ! I guess I'm crushing on Loula right now!
