We stayed for two weeks over Xmas and have only good things to say about the hotel and the great people working there. The wifi is without password, so be careful to not use it for email and banking. The breakfast is nice and has fresh fruit and a good variation of treats to enjoy.

We've stayed a few times now at this property , and what is apparent is that the same staff continue to work there - which is usually a positive sign that things are going okay! They take pride in making sure that everything is cared for. The welcome is always warm & friendly. |The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the breakfast selection is perfectly adequate.|There is a bar in the hotel, and Armando is a great host. |The town centre, with a large variety of shops & restaurants, is only 5 mins walk away.

Extremely disappointed. Arrived to this hotel for a weekend stay. After one hour in our room found a bed bug on the headboard. Called reception and they came to look at it and they confirmed it was a bed bug. I was panicking and asking if they could find us another room which they could not. I asked if they had any contacts to local hotels or anything to help, which the receptionist laughed at and said no. I had to call local hotels in the area and eventually found somewhere to sleep for 150 euro for one night. We were told to return the following morning at 11am to speak with the manager and see how to proceed. When we arrived we were met with a receptionist who didn't really seem to care what the situation was and told us we could check in again at 3pm. We asked if there would be any compensation and he said they would deduct the price of one night (because we didn't sleep there). Complete nightmare beginning to our holiday, no apologies, no compensation, no help for an issue which was on their hands to resolve. |I decided to book a hotel in vilamoura and asked for a full refund. Really disappointed in how the receptionist handled our concerns and I don't really trust that the matter was taken seriously in regard to inspecting the surrounding rooms for bed bugs etc. maybe this hotel is usually perfect and lovely but based on this hellish experience I cannot recommend anyone to stay here. I hope that the management team can learn to handle these situations better so that guests feel at ease after a potential exposure to parasites, massive health risk.||I understand this review may seem like an exaggeration but this was my only holiday this year, after working so hard for so long and for this to happen it really really upset us, especially when it was laughed off and ignored.

Very nice hotel for the price and located in the lovely town of Loule. Several restaurants were nearby. Bocage was very nice with authentic Portuguese cuisine. Staff were very nice at the hotel. The room was large. and very clean. The only negative would be the pillows but you can choose to rent better ones. Very nice shops were located nearby including those that only sold items made in Portugal. We truly enjoyed our stay in Loule.

Hotel location is at quiet area near a very small park and it is in walking distance to city center. There are plenty of free parking slots around the small park. Our room has large windows facing the small park, very pleased. Room has computer desk, round table, bed table, a single sofa and a big bed. Lots of space to move around and store stuff. Bathroom is big too. There is an air heater in the bathroom so it can be warmed very quickly before shower. The light system for the bathroom is stupid though, need to follow certain sequence to turn on and off the lights using the 4 switches on the wall. Took us quite a while to figure it out. There is a nice roof with terrace and an indoor swimming pool. Although we Didnot use the pool but the room for the swimming pool felt very warm in winter. We did enjoy the sunshine and the view on the terrace. The breakfast room on the ground floor is very nice in a sunroom with greens. Breakfast is great, many options. There are also nice sitting area on the ground floor next to the breakfast room. It is nearly perfect but one thing we did find annoyed: there is coffee machine in the room but we need to buy the capsules (1euro each) separately from the front desk. It is not a common type of capsules (called Delta) so not worthwhile to buy from supermarket, although I do know the price is around 4 euro for 10 capsules from supermarket. I donot think it is worthwhile to cause inconvenience and hence negative impression from guests for 0.6 euro margin. This was the only unpleasant moment we had there. Could easily be avoided.

Our 3rd visit here, stayed for a week this time. Friendly check in. Very large comfy bed. We used the gym, stepper very squeaky! Great breakfast, wish the fresh raspberries were on each day! Different items at breakfast, nice cod fritters one morning, and tasty almond biscuits which appeared to be home made. Be aware that there are virtually nothing open on a Sunday, we ended up going into Quarteira for our meal. There is a local bus 87 which goes into Quarteira during the day which stops a couple of minutes from the hotel. Not far from the bus stop is a nice little cafe called Reis do Pao, served very nice toasties and sandwiches. You can ask in reception for a drink at the hotel bar, prices Very reasonable. Will stay again.

I was really disappointed with this hotel. For the price I paid for my room it was absolutely tiny. Barely able to walk around the bed. No water provided in the room either. |Photos from the website and instagram were significantly different than what I saw anywhere in the hotel. The pool area badly needs a revamp, in particular the beds by the pool were old, rock hard and very uncomfortable. |Location wise it’s close to Loule centre. |Breakfast was good. Good choice in their continental style breakfast. |However I feel let down by the hotel. I don’t feel I got value for the price I paid and I think they need to re look at their website pictures or else bring the hotel up to standard.
