We're grateful that there was a table available for us eventhough we didn't make a reservation. The vegan options and allergens indications were clearly indicated on a separate menu card (ask the waiter). We had 2 delicious fresh pastas, a delicious steak & fried artichauts, vegan tofufish and chips, and desserts. An adorable place in Oltrano that we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Friendly staff, beautiful indoor seating (although we chose to sit outside), & wonderful food. We came for the vegan options.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We found a hair in one of the starters, and overall the food quality did not meet our expectations. Considering the high prices, we expected much better.

I hesitate to ding vegan concept Restaurants but flavors and focus matter and value for the price matters. La Osteria Vegeteriana in Florence offers a promising concept by providing a vegan and vegetarian menu, but unfortunately, they’ve also chosen to make it gluten-free. While being vegan or vegetarian is a lifestyle choice, gluten-free dining is a medical necessity for some, and the all-encompassing approach might not cater well to everyone. The menu is vast, ranging from Pad Thai to gnocchi, but this broad focus seems to spread the kitchen too thin, resulting in dishes that miss the mark. Our meal included fried mushroom, polenta cake, gnocchi, sausage and beans, quinoa cabbage roll, and pancetta. Sadly, each dish was easily forgettable. Portion sizes are incredibly small, especially considering the high prices. The wine list is not impressive, featuring only one subpar wine available by the glass. Service was ok, we asked for that said glass of wine and they completely forgot to deliver until prompted. Overall, while La Osteria Vegeteriana has the right idea in providing diverse vegan and vegetarian options, it needs to refine its focus and execution to truly stand out.

We where excited to experience this vegetarian restaurant. Unfortunately we couldn’t sit outside as this was all “reserved”. In the end, the tables remained empty. Inside nice ambiance, but the decoration of the walls and the lighting could be improved. Food was great, nice taste and portions were big enough. The service was oké, however the food was served to fast and the staff did had a lot of fun with their mobile phone. Some improvements to made, but overall good experience.

I LOVED this place! It’s definitely worth coming to if you want a nice dinner, regardless if you’re vegetarian or vegan, but definitely should come if you are veggie. I ordered a few things just to try for myself. I loved the pasta soya bolognese / ragu, while the eggplant dish was interesting I thought it was going to be more of a hot dish, baked but it wasn’t but still good, and the chocolate cake w hazelnuts I thought was also delicious. Service and ambiance were lovely. Highly recommend !!!

Very disspointing experience. If you’re looking for good vegan or vegeterian food; go somewhere else. First of all, the menu on website is not updated and differs a lot on the current menu. No mention in the website that they dont update it any longer.. We ordered two gnocchis: one vegan & one regular. There was a language barrier between us and the waiter as we do not speak Italian, and the waiter does not speak english very well. We anyway had the diacussion with the waiter that we will have one veg.gnocchi and one regular (parmesan included as stated in the menu and separately requested). When we got the food the vegan gnocchi was not gnocchi at all but some kind of penne with pesto. And the regular one did not have parmesan. As the waiter finally came to ask if everything was ok, we compalained ofc. The taste of the food did not save this experience either, because the dish was missing salt and variation of flavours.

The service in this restaurant was fantastic. The waitress was very attentive. I tried the Balinese satay and it was great! The gado gado was great with the peanut sauce. Would recommend. The atomosphere inside the restaurant is also very nice. A lot of plants and lights.
