On October 3rd, at approximately 7:30 PM, I entered Love and Dough Pizzeria. My uncle had just purchased a box of pizza, and within 10 minutes, I re-entered with two little girls, ages six, to use the restroom.
When I asked the manager, Stefon, if the children could use the bathroom, he was extremely rude and dismissive, despite me explaining that I was a paying customer. Hoping for help, I approached the waiter, Alex, but he looked me up and down and walked away without a word.
The cashier, Ri, was the only staff member who showed kindness. She listened politely, though she seemed embarrassed by her colleagues’ behavior. Because she could not resolve the issue, I purchased another slice of pizza ($5.25) just to be able to allow the children access to the bathroom. Only then did Stefon return and say we could use the restroom as though I had not already been a paying customer.
The entire interaction was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely lacking in customer service etiquette. The pizza itself was below average, but the bigger issue was the negative energy, dismissive attitude, and lack of basic courtesy from management and staff.
I told them to keep the slice I had purchased and suggested they give it to someone in need, as I refused to take it after such treatment. I will not return to this establishment and cannot recommend it to anyone not because of the food alone, but because of the appalling behavior and lack of respect for customers.
