I found a pair of jeans at Jem, but the Chinese sales assistant at the counter checked and said there was only one left, a display is the last piece, and told me to go to Funan or Orchard. Later, I checked the website and found that Jem still had stock, so I went back to ask another sales assistant to check again. Sure enough, there were a few left. Otherwise, I would have wasted a trip to another location, which is a waste of customers' time. The company should properly train its staff so they don't rush and fumble, or give customers the runaround!
