Love's Travel Stop

Came to repair shop and was greeted when I entered. Alexia provided great details about the repairs requested. It didn't take long, but Mike & Charles took good care of my issues in a timely manner. Very satisfied with the service provided.

I normally am very happy with Love's for fueling up our RV as we travel. But today on a busy Sunday afternoon with lots of folks traveling, this location decided to close half of their gas fuel pumps for power washing around the fuel islands! It was pure chaos in the lot as vehicles blocked and jammed up. Who would close half of their fuel pumps for washing on a busy Sunday afternoon along a busy interstate highway! I went left after getting thru the nightmare lot traffic and went to a competitor.

Tamika at the register made our whole stop. She had Mrs. Claus on speed dial tonight (Christmas Eve night ) ensuring that Santa deliver gifts to our destination we were still several hours from. If you’re reading this our daughter kept talking about how awesome it was and how important your job must be to have access to Mrs. Claus. You truly made our night and I wish the other two children who were sleeping got to witness the same magic. Tamika is truly amazing and one of a kind! Thank you and Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Always a great experience at the shop!!! Wet PM....no waiting, let me walk my dogs while the service went on. Looked up my parts and prices, laughed and joked about the impatient idiots that are never satisfied with anything. Thanks guys for care and professionalism given to me and my truck. I've stopped in here a few times traveling through and the servi e was pretty good. Tonight 12-19-25 I stopped in for coffee there wasn't any sugar canisters out. I asked one of the workers it they had anymore she said I could use the sweeten low. I don't use that I want real sugar. then told me to ask the other people. I guess she was to busy stocking to help. Might have to find me another place to stop in from now on.

This seems to be your normal Loves. All of your drinks and snacks were there. Men’s room was pretty clean. They have both a Subway and a McDonalds, too. Overall, good place to stop.

When we arrived the parking lot and pumps were all very full, so I was concerned about lunes for the bathroom, however that was not the case. The bathrooms were clean, well lit, and well stocked. There were plenty of toilets to accommodate everyone. They had the typical fare including drinks, snacks, hot dog rollers, as well as a connected Subway and McDonalds. If you’re a trucker this is a good option due to a portion of the store being specifically tools and equipment, and shower stalls - which I did not use, so I cannot vouch for the cleanliness. But judging by the rest of the store, they’re probably quite nice.

Solid little stop in the middle of the night because I was running on empty in more ways than one. Gas was low, energy low, visibility low. I wasn't sure where to go and I remembered that phrase people like to post in their houses in the wall as a reminder: "Live, Laugh, Love's" If you're saying to yourself "it's LOVE, not LOVES" you're not wrong, but it's fitting so here we are. So there I was; Lo and behold, I happen upon Love's Travel Shop. I stopped, slammed gas and got hopped up on Mountain Dew. Suddenly I can see clearly Now the grime was wiped. I purchased some stickers and kept it moving onto the next few hours of driving. I'm thankful for the staff and had a good experience here. I stepped into the adjacent McDonalds and ate a burger. I consumed caffeine and protein and kept in keeping on.

Poorly designed Loves. Way too hard to exit out of. Can take 30 mins just to get out of the parking lot on busy days. 10 mins on non busy days.

Clean restrooms, friendly staff. I like to stop at truck stops for safety reasons. Loves are usually clean and safety when traveling. Will continue to use loves truck stops.

Greeted upon entrance. Clean store and restroom. Showers available for purchase or with diesel purchase. Pocket travel games and snacks available for purchase.

On this road trip we've seen some scary bathrooms. This bathroom was very nice and clean, and well stocked. Way to go. They also they have showed for the truckers! You can hear them call out what showers are ready and available. We got some waters for the road, and we were on our way. Grateful for clean bathrooms.

This particular Love's is a cool enough stop for gas. The gas is competitively priced and the inside has the usual convenience store items and if you are looking for something a bit more substantial than the snacks inside the Love's or one of their roller items like hot dogs, they also have a Subway and a McDonald's on property. The staff was friendly enough and the store was overall a clean and well kept place. Like most truck stops, it also had the usual trinkets for sale. Overall, I would definitely recommend this particular location of Love's.

Stopped here with my family to stretch and get gas. Outside there are lots of gas pumps. Inside has the usual convenient store items such as snacks and refrigerated drinks. They had a McDonald's and a Subway attached where you can get warm food. The store area was clean and well lit. The women's bathroom was okay but needs some cleaning up. There were only four stalls and there was a wait. The stall I had was a mess. It had a strong smell of urine, there was a lot of toilet paper on the floor, and there were no toilet seat covers. A positive is that the sink area was clean. There was push button soap and auto paper towel dispensers.

Busy travel plaza located close to I-10 in northwest Florida. Gas prices seemed reasonable. There's a huge truck servicing area as well as showers available for the long haul drivers. The convenience store offers many on-the-go food items like sandwiches, salads, wraps, chips, boiled peanuts, and drinks. Tee shirts, sun glasses, and other tourist-type kitsch were displayed on numerous racks throughout the store. The facilities in the store are dated and in need of serious overhaul however everything was clean. Subway and McDonald's are located on the property as well. I saw several employees assisting customers who were trying to locate items. The staff we had contact with were friendly. We were able to get back on the road quickly after filling up, using the rest rooms, and grabbing something cold to drink on a hot June day.

We go there just to buy Jerky. They have Robertson's jerky bottled under the Love's name. The cashiers are always friendly. They could do a LOT better keeping the place clean though. We would probably be tempted to buy other things. Or so far though.

This Loves in Mossy Head Florida has become a big joke. The Subway within this facility does not have half of the items on the menu. This has been an ongoing problem for well over a month now. The McDonald's (also within the facility) is usually dirty and very slow in getting orders out. It's franchise is owned by Costa who when called, does absolutely nothing. When I tried to call the Loves Corporate offices, I was led around to 2 different people that were hard to understand and then put through to the Mossy Head Loves again even after I told them that I did not want put through to them again.

I always enjoy stopping at Love's because it is usually clean but I am absolutely disgusted at the treatment we received at this location from Joshua Stokes on 4/4/2023 at 10:15 p.m. EST. My boyfriend purchased a packet of peanuts for $0.69, plus tax from a cashier named Alexis and used the bathroom. Then, he went outside to park his truck by the fuel pump and went back inside to purchase $288.88 of fuel from Joshua Stokes. While making this purchase, Joshua rudely snapped at him and said "you better pay for those peanuts, too". After my boyfriend explained that he had previously purchased the peanuts, Joshua refused to believe him and accused him of stealing. Joshua then went to the back and made contact with another employee via his radio to check if the peanuts were previously purchased. Alexis even confirmed that my boyfriend bought the peanuts from her. After twice receiving confirmation that the peanuts were already paid for, Joshua did not apologize for his mistake. As you can see in the video, he remained smug. Instead of trying to smooth over the situation, he made incendiary, racially charged comments and continued to imply my boyfriend was a thief. He even mentioned that he had a Black brother. I am not entirely sure of the reasoning behind this statement. I am very disappointed and I hope Love's takes the necessary steps to discipline this employee for his abhorrent behavior. There are other reviews of this location, one as recently as two weeks ago, that call out his racist behavior and apparently nothing has been done about it yet.

Since recently joining the "Diesel Club" my perspective had changed somewhat of these roadside truck stops. The diesel islands can be a quite a mess at a lot of the truck stops no matter the brand and if I had to point the finger it's going to be at trucker drivers, no I'm not anti-truck drivers it just that I've seen enough of their behavior to pass judgement without feeling any remorse. Today's truckers aren't the "good-buddies" of a few decades agos their rigs can testify to this - it seems the pride has for the most part is a thing of the past dirty trucks, disgusting roadside manners and a total disregard for those that share the road with them, blame it on regulations, the pay scale, more company poorly trained drivers, their mom and dad the list is endless. So judging from the cleanliness of this Love's Travel Stop I give all the credit to the employees and management team here - this place was spotless and the equipment appears to be well maintained. Diesel is dirty and DEF (diesel emissions fuel) isn't any better, most RV blogs recommend using gloves and an old pair of sneakers when fueling up because of the puddles of diesel fuel spilled around the pumps, it's a real mess and will track inside your RV and stain everything it comes in contact with besides being an environmental problem as well since all of this is washed into the storm water drains. Unless you have an account with these truck stops there is no "pay at the pump" you must estimate the total amount you plan to pump then pre-pay before dispensing. Example I estimated I could pump $225 worth of diesel so I swiped my card for that amount, I actually only pumped $205 so that was the actual amount charged to my card and I picked up my receipt showing that exact amount charged from the corresponding slot at the fuel counter, my pump was #17 so my receipt was in slot #17 of course this requires a second trip inside. If you want a full tank it's better to tell them a higher number or get really good at knowing how much fuel you have when your gauge reads a half a tank or what ever the fuel indicator shows and do the math taking into consideration the fuel price per gallon, my rig gets a little over 7 miles to the gallon so I want to fill the tank each time I stop to eliminate the fueling frequency. Being most trucks are buying hundreds of gallons there is no 10 minute fuel stops a lot of these truckers take their mandatory 30 minute break so traffic through the pumps can be slow. The staff here was very friendly and like others have stated they have just about anything you could ever want including "public showers" thankfully I have never had to take advantage of this perk. All in all this place does a lot of things right and I'll gladly stop in again when necessary and I'm in the area...

needs to be cleaned. the fountain drink machine - the hoses are black mildew, sludge . where they never have cleaned them. I wouldn't get ice from their it's not clean or sanitary need to call the health dept

Stopped to get propane. Lots of people working. Sat waiting for 25 minutes. When in the store requesting help 3 times. Each time being told someone would be right with us. Finally left in frustration I'm sure the guy that was dodging it was very happy. We saw you slacking

The people here are great nice amenities and right off the exit. But, one of the filthiest restrooms I have been in. Zero exhaust being pulled from it as well so horrible odor. This is consistent as I am forced to use this stop a few times a week. You can do better Love's. Make it a priority and fix the problems.

If you drive a diesel, you gotta like Love's travel stops. This particular location was a pain to maneuver in and out of hauling my fifth wheel. Not sure how the truckers manage without problems. Maybe it's just me. They have pretty much anything you may need while out on the road.

Kacie is the BEST!!! Me and my girlfriend were headed back to Florida and her and Tim helped us with our first truck stop shower -which we really needed after working all month in Longview TX at our haunted forest!!! They were above and beyond accommodating, even while helping other customers. Made our next ride comfortable and clean Thx

Easy access when traveling on I-10 from both east and west directions. Right off the interstate, so it makes for a quick stop to get gas, grab a bite, use the restroom, and walk the dog. The parking lot is quite large and is very well lit. It's open 24 hours and I feel very safe here at night. There are a ton of pumps, so you don't have to worry about waiting for one. Considering this is in the middle of the panhandle of Florida, this is one the few places with pretty reasonable gas prices. A McDonald's and a Subway are connected to the convenience store. They also have food items like hot dogs and sandwiches available in the convenience store. They have quite a few items for your traveling needs in case you forgot something at home. They have cell phone charges, car charges, headphones, and other items for your electronic devices. There's a good assortment of over-the-counter medicines for headaches, nausea, etc. You can also pick up DVDs, CDs, and Florida souvenirs here like t-shirts, shot glasses, etc. This place is almost like a mini-Walmart!! The restrooms are extremely clean.

All Love's location get five stars with me at all times. This is one of the best stations to stop at while on the road. They cater to your every need. They greet you when you walk in. They have a great store with plenty of doors, souvenirs and very clean bathrooms. They have more gas pumps than you need. I will always stop at any Love's over any other station while traveling on the road. They not only have their own hot food that they cook and sell, but they usually have at least one Restaurant connected to their business, sometimes they have two, one on each side. I highly recommend this business.

So happy to find this place! Marked it on our favorite road trip stops for gas, recharging, and a good stop for the pups!! They have a dog park which is such a thoughtful addition for us doggo parents (and it's clean!). We wouldn't eat at a subway outside of a late night gas fuel stop, but the subway was clean and quick. A+! The loves bathroom was extremely clean and had a button on the wall to rate the cleanliness which, again, I feel is just another thoughtful addition. Thanks loves!!!!! Oh boy this loves is doing it right it's hard enough being on the road with your pets but when you come into a travel plaza that has a dog park in it it makes me happy happy happy thank you loves for thinking about our for babies

Its funny how they all look almost exactly the same. The bathroom was mostly clean. One toilet had poop smear from some nasty person that doesnt know how to clean up after themselves. Well the rest of the bathroom was fine. The staff didnt greet us when we walked in. Theres a pretty busy flow of customers 7am om a Thursday.

Bathrooms are clean enough there was a phalic image they tried to clean off the women's bathroom floor in the stall I used. Spacious parking. The real reason I'm writing this review is to commend the customer service. Kathy is awesome! The nicest cashier I have ever run into at a love's travel stop. There is hot food in addition to the subway and McDonald's there along with a larger selection of electronics then you would find at your typical stop

The price of the showers went up and the water temperature has gone down. They're very close to their showers being a complete scam. I know they give most of them away free to truckers for buyng gas but charging someone 15 bucks for a lukewarm or cold shower is a bit much. It's happened to me multiple times now. And I'm guessing by their reaction, I'm not the first person to complain. Get your showers in order, Loves. It's a bad look.

This is a great location, just off Interstate 10 ; Mossyhead Fl. Exit . Clean and safe .

This is a wonderful truck stop... It's very clean and has all of your typical items that we are accustomed to being in a truck stop...They have a good variety of snacks, drinks and other food items... The entire store is kept very clean... The employees are super friendly...The shelves are well stocked.

Shower was great for me! But customer service from manager on duty Alexa or Alexis was extreamly awful. She was rudly knocking in the door and rushing me. Screaming at me : "normal shower can't take 4 hours". You know, I was traveling around all states. This one is the worst. Customer service is the key and if you had a bad day, please, don't ruin day for you customer. We re spending money in your place, you know. This is face of your business. Maybe time off will help her who knows?..

Very clean gas station right off I-10. It has lots of pumps and the gas prices are comparable to others around the area. There is a McDonald's and a Subway and they have lots of items for travelers. The bathrooms were very clean with plenty of soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Lots of areas to walk pets.

What a way to start our move with a broken AC. The service guys had us in, out and fixed in about an hour. They were very informative and knew their business. Thanks James your the best!

Pretty clean facility lots of options to choose from food drink etc. the negative is that the parking lot is difficult to navigate through and extremely chaotic during peak hours. Employees are pretty informative and helpful.

Very popular truck stop! My husband has to stop for their very own jerky! He has to get the bucket every time! Right off the interstate so it very convenient! Do not pass by this Loves stop! Car friendly

The employees at Love's helped me get my wallet back after I left it there. They were very accommodating in a stressful situation!

A weird thing to say....... but thy had the cutest lighters inside and I live about an hour away, can't ever find lighters with them cute designs ‍ Good for you loves, good for you!

My husband asked me to write this review and mention how *exceedingly NICE* the employees here at this gas station are. He was greeted with politeness every time he walked in and out of the building in taking the kids to the bathroom and then again to empty our car's trash can. He said it was clean inside too (for a gas station).

We heard they replaced the manager of the Subway, so we tried it again. I can't believe the health department hasn't closed this Subway down yet. Still, a filthy, uncovered food prep area and employees having zero clue of proper food handling safety procedures.

This is a great place to stop and refresh. However.. 11:20 pm and no coffee brewed in the convenience store. You're kidding, right? I have one of the Love's brand refillable mugs. What's the point of the mug if the folks at the store aren't keeping the coffee ready? Otherwise, it's clean, well-lit, and I'll be stopping by again. Hopefully, there will be coffee next time. Everything you need when traveling. Clean bathrooms, subway or mc Donald's and great customer service. A pleasant surprise. Only wish they had a better hot tea selection.
