Lovina Beach Hotel

We had comfortable stay here. Rooms are clean and neat. Staff is friendly and nice. It has good Complimentary breakfast. It’s really a good location with beautiful beach view.

Black sand beach, some sewers that openly flowed into the sea, I didn't have the courage to swim there. Beach frequented for old people. Hotel should be great if they keep the clean and basic maintenance, because it is front of the beach, (even it is not my style) where the boats are to take guests to see dolphins. Staff are so kind, they really do the best but the building is old.

I’m usually not giving bad recommendations but I must here. After a long day of traveling I wanted to do quick shower. When showering something bite me to the arm. I thought it was mosquito but when I turn around there was a cockcrouch hanging on my leg. Crazy experience. I went to tell the story to reception. Overall it was the worst night in the hotel I ever had. Not anymore there.

You will probably get Bali belly if you drink the coffee or juice or eat pancakes as they use tap water to make everything (at the time of this review- I hope they will change it). The staff is nice at first but evening staff got confused and rude. They were honest about their processes and said they will make a coffee with mineral water for me but be careful and avoid drinking the juice or coffee which comes with the bars. It’s a nice quiet place to sit in the morning and although there are still annoying people selling its a lot less than the other places. I just came for the breakfast so idk about the rooms. Gluten free pancakes available but staff ruined the experience at the end trying to charge extra when they were wrong

The rooms are a bit outdated and could use an update. only the staff is friendly and the location is very nice close to the beach and to the center of lovina. The pool is also a great addition especially for the price.

We have a love affair with Lovina Beach Hotel and won't stay anywhere else.. came here first time many years ago, then another few times with our two kids, and now back again and were so relieved to see it is still up and running and PLEASE DON'T CHANGE Lovina Beach hotel, it is iconic, staff are so friendly and caring, primo location for 6pm sunset in outside area of the restaurant basically beachfront. Loved the ground level conjoined style rooms with deck sitting area like the good old days, quiet and peaceful. Sure don't expect this place to be super modern or top facilities, it has heart and absolutely great energy on this land and is affordable as it is. X The breakfast is good for value, the restaurant on site menu is actually so good, different options so much that we simply did our sunset drinks, then had dinner in, didn't even feel like leaving the hotel and never got bored with the menu.. their dadar gulung traditional dessert is the best we have ever had in our over 25 years of coming to Bali, and made by the chef himself.. and prices were affordable for hotel food, which is normally not the case. We love everything about Lovina Beach hotel, and can highly recommend it for great value for beach front location, and be happy that it hasn't been transformed into a concrete jungle of blocks of rooms with no heart or soul. we will be back for sure... didn't want to leave. they organise your massage in your room, so actually i was so happy to stay on site... and you can walk along the beach to a nearby bar where they have fire dancers at night and live music..

Had a really good experience. The staff are amazing and incredibly friendly. The first room had a broken air-conditioner and they were more than happy to help us move to another room. Location wise it’s great as well, beautiful view out to the beach. I would definitely recommend 👍🏼

Such a pretty hotel, we arrived late in the evening and we were able to rest properly after the hustle and bustle of Ubud and Uluwatu! The staff is very very helpful and attentive to any request. After the dolphins we stayed at the swimming pool which is very pretty and calm so very good for resting, then headed to the beach (direct access from the hotel) for the incredible sunset. In the evening we decided not to worry and had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was very good. The breakfast is also super good and above all, with an incredible view. We were able to leave our belongings at the hotel even after checkout so that we could continue our visit. Awesome, beautiful, nice room. In the top !
