Dolphin watching in Lovina is the best activity in North Bali. The trip starts in the morning at 6 a.m. You can also go snorkeling or diving with dolphins. The price is around 200,000 rupiahs per person.

Beautiful trip, lovely guide. Need to be lucky to see the dolphins - but when you do you see plenty of them. We had over 30 spinner dolphins including several baby dolphins and it was magically. Could swim close to them and hear and see them play. Be aware that this is a tourist attraction - even though it is quite animal friendly - for Southeast Asian standard - it’s still a bit crowded. When you finally see a dolphin there will be 10-15 boats chasing them. It is not a “I’ll find myself in the nature event”. If you simply want to see wild dolphins 3 meters away and don’t expect a karthasis it is perfect for you

I did the dolphin watching experience at Lovina Beach, and it was interesting, but definitely not what I expected. The overall feel was less peaceful nature encounter and more like a game of hide-and-seek at sea, with lots of boats rushing toward any dolphin sighting the moment one appeared. As soon as a dolphin popped up, dozens of boats would speed in that direction so their guests could get footage. To be fair, it was exciting the first few times we spotted dolphins — they are beautiful to see in the wild, and catching those moments when they surfaced felt special. But the constant boat movement and competition to chase sightings took away from what could have been a serene wildlife experience. Instead of quietly observing dolphins in their natural environment, it felt a bit chaotic and almost like a race. If you’re someone who just wants that quick “I saw wild dolphins” moment, you’ll probably enjoy it and walk away happy. If you’re hoping for a calm, nature-driven encounter where the focus is more on respecting the animals and less on chasing them for video, this may not be the experience for you. All in all, it was memorable and worth doing once for the sake of the experience, but I’d recommend going in with realistic expectations — it’s energetic, busy, and geared toward photo and video opportunities rather than a peaceful wildlife viewing.

What an amazing morning! We left at 6 a.m. by boat and watched the most beautiful sunrise over the ocean absolutely breathtaking. Shortly after, we were surrounded by dolphins everywhere! 🐬 They swam alongside the boat, jumped out of the water, and seemed just as curious about us as we were about them. The highlight was definitely swimming with the dolphins. Holding onto the boat and looking underwater while these incredible animals swam around us was truly magical. The guides were friendly, professional, and made sure everything was safe and respectful towards the dolphins. A mustdo experience for anyone visiting bali, Lovina. It was simply unforgettable!

The experience was fantastic. The early morning was really worth to wake up to in order to see hundreds of dolphins. The captain of the boat, if you can call him that, really knows where to go and even though you have to take the trip of around an hour, it is still worth it. It's well thought through, providing the snorkel and also a trapezium-like device to hang onto the boat. So like this you can really enjoy looking at the dolphins from close by. You see them both from the boat and from under the water. Highly recommend.

We did a private tour with Ketut and it was amazing! He took us to see the dolphins, and while we were swimming with them, he made sure that both my husband and I got to see them up close. Afterwards, we went snorkeling, which was another beautiful underwater experience. I definitely recommend this company! 🌊🐬

We had an amazing morning with Ketut. We were able to spot many dolphins, and seeing them under the water swimming and playing was just fantastic. We also did the snorkeling part, which I very much recommend!! Communication with Ketut was quick and smooth, he gave us clear instructions and was there on time. I was shocked by the amount of boats running behind or even into the dolphins coming at surface. Whenever the dolphins would come out the boats would go on top of them, it was pretty bad and raised our concerns,…However, Ketut was very respectful with the animals and did not get close to those crowds and respected the space of the animals. We patiently waited until all those people left and we were able to enjoy the experience. I definitely recommend, but not with any company, only with those that respect the dolphins like it is the case of Ketut!!

We had a great morning watching dolphins, The weather was amazing and as always the ocean is beautiful clean and warm. It's a bit crazy the number of boats chasing the dolphins, it's like a rally. witness some boats drive directly into a group of dolphins. More could be done by the boat drivers in general to protect and keep a distance from the animals themselves. Also, it'll be awesome to get a few nets for the passages to hold, and as you drive the boats around you can get the guests to catch trash floating in the water. The location is so beautiful it'll be nice to give back by cleaning the water. Thanks for a great experience 👍🏼

We had a truly amazing experience, we got to see the dolphins and swim with them. We got to see a large group of dolphins including a baby with parents. On the way to snorkelling at the coral reef we also saw pilot whales. I would definitely recommend paying extra as we did to have the boat all to ourselves giving us a much better experience. Communication with booking the trip was easy and Ketut managed to get us very close to the dolphins. Thank you.
