Loving Hut is an exquisite establishment with a full vegan menu. This was my third visit, and all cusines were on point. The quality of the ingredients was superb and fresh, and each staff member was friendly and welcoming. This restaurant is definitely a spot to try while being in the area. All vegetarians and vegans will have several options to choose from and for all those who want to experience something new.

Google
Outstanding service by Finley! We felt very much welcome. We stopped at this lovely restaurant on our way out of Phoenix. The burgers were great. I had the tofu teriyaki burger. It was very juicy and tasty. Only thing I didn’t like were the fries. They were a bit dry. Sadly didn’t try and of the desserts. But they looked great! Would definitely recommend this place to any vegans passing by in the area.

I thought the food and service were just alright. I wished there was more sauce and flavor in the BBQ noodles, it felt bland to me. I was disappointed since this dish seemed like their specialty. The Pad Thai was just okay too, I've definitely had much better. Thai tea was refreshing and delicious. I think this restaurant is a great option for vegans and vegetarians who can't most of the menu at other restaurants. However, I am not vegetarian so I don't think this place is my cup of tea and I won't be returning. I'd prefer to eat somewhere else where I'm guaranteed more flavorful noodles.

When we arrived, there four four tables seated, who had not yet been served, and a take-out order of 5 or 6 grocery bags being assembled. This phone order pretty much overwhelmed the place, and it didnt recover while we were there. One table asked for its food to go, having waited 40 mins. Door Dashers waited a half hour. We waited a half hour, and got two dishes befor the table of 6 (seated before us) even got appetizers. the two-person staff was courteous, efficient, harried, running back and forth and generally apologetic. It was a bad situation of being "over booked" but they acknowledged this and were sorry for it. Our noodle dishes were perfect (chow fun, pad thai.) the eggroll appetizer (two rolls cut in half) was not worth the cost. there was no spicy sauce (sriracha, e.g.) but there was hot mustard, and that was super tasty. we enjoyed out meal. atmosphere is zero.

Google
Food was good. But for the price I can make the same thing at home for less. So we will only go here if I don't feel like cooking. But the food was fresh, went down well, we didn't have to wait as long as some people are saying. Keep in mind also, fresh food takes longer so waiting is ok. The guy and lady were very polite and looked like hard-working people that care. The restaurant is pretty clean, the only thing that needed attention was the ceiling but it looks like an old building.

Google
A great vegan spot to come to for the much loved Loving Hut genius! We’ve been to a number of Loving Huts across the USA (and Europe) and this one doesn’t disappoint! A great menu selection, super friendly staff and tasty food - what more could you want

Google
I used to love this restaurant until I found a long Brown Hair fried into my spring rolls... I spent over $50 to be grossed out all night. I'm so disappointed and I will be delivering this back to Loving Hut as soon as they open tomorrow because it's closed

Google
Ordered a Hawaiian burger thinking it would be like other loving Hut. It's not they had the plant based chicken with mayo. Odd combo with pineapple. The fries were cold and old. I ordered to go, and the store has so much for sale stuff with no prices in it. Won't be going back to this location.

Yelp
New to the area, so happy to see & excited to finally visit. Did not disappoint. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly & the food is delicious. Had the pan fried dumplings [onion rings next time, so wonderful to know food isn't fried in the same oil as wings & calamari], I love ginger & can definitely taste it in the filling, Pad Thai, saucier than most & more of a curry flavor, different to me & delicious as well. Meat eater friend had the Mongolian Wok, said the vegan protein was "really good". Slice of blueberry cheese cake to go, very tasty. Oh, one of the staff noticed me shooing away a fly he came over, caught it & released it outside. Most def will be back.

Yelp
I'm not a vegan, but I enjoy the variety on the menu, and tonight's experience was better than my first visit. I started with the sizzling rice soup, which was really good and fresh. The clay pot dish did not look appetizing in photos, but it turned out to be delicious! The fake meat reminded me a bit of pork belly. Very unique flavor. The rainbow side salad was good, though the dressing was a bit too light for my taste. I also would have enjoyed more lettuce and not having everything shredded. The moonshot appetizer crepe was disappointing. I only ate one and saved the rest to bring home and doctor up with protein and sauces. I also tried the garlic sensation with steamed white rice, which was good, but I didn't really taste the garlic. The sauce was a little too thick, and I would have enjoyed more vegetables and flavor. That said, the protein in the dish was great. Loved the texture. The service is kind, though tend to zip by quickly. The staff is very nice, and they do bring you exactly what you ask for once you can catch their attention. Overall, a solid spot with great options, especially for vegans.

Yelp
I haven't tried all the menu items, just the Pad Thai and Burgers so far, but everything has been very good.
google avatar

Kemlyn B.

Yelp
Vegan never tasted so good! Beverage: one sip of the rose lemonade, and I was a hummingbird tasting nectar. Entree: The Purplelicious Eggplant was tender and tasty. The smooth texture was flavored with a sauce that brought the tofu and eggplant together. The brown rice was al dente. Dessert: I felt like I was eating a pandan carrot cake. I want another slice now! Service: 5 stars. They didn't rush us even those they had closed. They didn't even discourage us from having dessert. I will be back!

Yelp
Loving huts burgers are the bomb. I try to go whenever I'm near one. Highly recommend

Yelp
Great vegan option. The golden vermicelli bowl and Thai Tea are my go tos here. Love coming here with friends and sharing different plates-the serving sizes are pretty good.

Yelp
Service: I ordered takeout and they were very nice Ambiance: cute place with unique decor, nothing fancy Food: I ordered the pad Thai and it was super good but def not like your traditional pad Thai. I had an open mind knowing it might be different and it was delicious. More like a savory coconut milk sauce than tamarind sauce. Parking: have their own lot Prices: fair and great portions!!
google avatar

Yelp
very bad service. they rush around without letting you say anything and they don't even come back to check on you. the bill was slammed down on my table before i was even halfway through my meal. i'm allergic to nuts so i always request no nuts (no stuffing on thanksgiving dinner they serve) and yet there were still walnuts on my plate. first when i sat down and was served water, there was a hair stuck to the bottom of my glass, then halfway through my meal im pretty sure i found a fingernail in my mashed potatoes. love supporting vegan places but this one is definitely pretty gross, bummer because the food is yummyyyy but if you like clean places i don't recommend it. wont be returning
google avatar

Don P.

Yelp
The cream cheese wontons were the best I've ever tried because it had veggies in there as well. I really liked the pad Thai because it was different than your traditional pad Thai. This one had coconut cream and peanut sauce .
google avatar

Nadeen L.

Yelp
The purple eggplant was delicious! The crispy rolls was also very good. The panda cake is smaller than I thought and I can't share it hahaha. Small rainbow salad is very tasty. The only thing is you need to buy the rice separately. For that, I took off 1 star. Everything I ordered was tasty. My first time here and I'd love to try their other menu items. I was surprised it wasn't busier because the food is very tasty.

Yelp
We love it here! We had a first date here and come back for anniversaries. Low maintenance, sustainable, satiating foods. The staff is so friendly and the food is great, every single time. Love the citrus water, the Pad Thai sauce and the yummy spring roles. Everything is labeled gluten-free or not, spicy/ not spicy and protein options. We always get a shake and the Clay Pot. The pandan cake is yummy and earthy.
google avatar

Amara J.

Yelp
This place was packed at like 11am on Wednesday lol. That should tell you how good the food is. I had the bbq noodles which was so yum! loved the spring rolls. I also had the wonton soup, Thai iced tea, and tiramisu! Everything was great. I'll be back next time I'm in Pheonix.

Yelp
Loving Hut is great! A must-order menu item is the BBQ Noodles - they pack a ton of flavor in one modest bowl. The recommended method of eating is to pour the sauce over top and mix everything together, but I loooove keeping ingredients separate and building perfect bites. A bite of bbq protein, then a bite of carrot, circle back to the rice noodles and end the mouthful with a cucumber. Yum. It's honestly fun to eat in addition to being delicious :) My only gripe is please give us chopsticks; forks kill the vibe. BBQ Noods come with golden spring rolls, so the portion size is enough to leave you full and satisfied. I actually didn't finish all of it I was so full! So the price, quality, and quantity all add up. Oh, and the lemon lime water is delicious too! The only thing stopping me from eating here all the time is the distance. Definitely check out this vegan option!!
google avatar

Kat H.

Yelp
Place is soooo good! Got their vegetable soup which was fresh and full of flavor. Just wish they had more gluten-free options. Not a lot I can choose from but will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved their BBQ noodles. Everything we have tried was satisfying. The sizzling rice soup is very good. The spicy cha cha was delicious. The purpulicious Eggplant is one of my favorites with fried tofu. Their coconut curry with brown rice was on point. I love that they have citrus water. Their strawberry cake was very moist and not too sweet. Our server is always smiling and very friendly. It's a nice cozy atmosphere that's not loud and can enjoy your meal.

Yelp
Came here for a MeetUp event. I'm not vegan or vegetarian so I tried to find an option closest to a meat protein I'd eat. I went for the Western burger. I chose the beyond meat patty which was thicker than the Gardein patty and it did taste like beef. The patty even looked like beef too. The burger overall tasted very good. The patty was smaller than the bun yet it didn't matter in the end. I loved it. My burger came with fries which seemed a bit too greasy for my liking. The onion rings were fabulous. I highly recommend them.
google avatar

Yelp
I generally do plant-based without the faux meat substitutes, but Loving Hut has made a believer out of me. Their BBQ BEEFLESS PROTEIN will make you do a double take. You can buy it and take it home ... and it's ready to add to any meal. My approach to plant-based eating is pretty simple...I do mushrooms and egg plant...when I need a meat-like texture...but this protein has me making changes to my line up!
google avatar

Yelp
I was very happy to try loving hut in phoenix since I frequent the one in Orange County (California). I ordered the pad Thai gluten free and I was so happy with it! It was delicious and they used a slightly different recipe than I typically experience (They used a slight "cream" sauce) will always come back to Loving Hut!

Brooklynn B.

Yelp
I truly appreciate the hospitality, and earnest efforts the staff displayed in making my dining experience memorable! the food was so satisfying, delicious, and timely! Staff enlightened us on what sauces compliment the meal we were eating, checking in while we were eating , and letting us know what's popular! The venue reminded me of a vacation! Clean, spacious, and inviting! thank you for the hospitality Loving Hut!

Yelp
I'm obsessed with the food served at loving hut. I have only been there twice, but I looooove the vermicelli bowl with the plant beef protein! This time around we ordered that dish and the Mongolian 'beef' with a side of white rice. Both dishes were phenomenal and completely devoured. If you are plant based and in the area, definitely give Loving Huy a try!!

Yelp
soy beans are GMO ! they are using monosodium glutamate (MSG) in the food! This is same as any cheap asian food restaurant. I have tasted the MSG as i am extremely sensitive to it. i almost never eat outside but this time I gave in to my tiredness as I was on the road. NEVER AGAiN! Shame on you the owner of this place for using MSG & GMO pesticide full soy! ! I bet it's more profitable? I feel violated! perhaps someone will sue them for the uninformed GMO & MSG - then they may stop USING THEM. currently YOU HAVE NO INFORMATION that you are eating these on your food at this restaurant chain. I assume eating tortured cow & eating abused gmo soy: more or less have same energy :( Will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN oh; waiter / cashier also was clipping his nails (as we were hearing the sound) @Gelandale location.

Yelp
Enjoyable Phoenix location that never misses on our meals. We visit this location as the dishes are great portions, tasty and fulfilling.

Yelp
food is bad. so bad i'm going to have to buy something else for dinner. don't get takeout from here! save your money!
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite vegan restaurants! The menu at each loving hut is different, but the one in Phoenix is centered around asian food. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and filling. The environment is peaceful, it's always quiet and at ease. The staff are quick and come to refill your drinks without asking. 10/10 would recommend

Yelp
For Thanksgiving we wanted to venture out,eat great food, and dine with lots of people whom we've never met or knew existed. ThanksLiving at Loving Hut was the exact place that offered us all of the above. I had signed up for a meetup that was going to be meeting and dining at Loving Hut with an all Vegan experience. For starters, we had the butternut squash soup with a side salad with a not too sweet onion dressing. Both were delicious. Next the main course consisted of a glazed vegan roast, cranberry- walnut herbed stuffing, rosemary-garlic mashed potatoes with mushrooms & sage gravy, fried Brussels sprouts, sweet corn, sweet potatoes, and caramelized sliced apples. All this wonderful goodness got washed down with sparkling apple cider. For dessert we had vegan chocolate ice cream with chocolate cake. Extra bonus points! Wow, I was stuffed about half way through the meal. But the good kind of stuffed, not the kind that makes you not want to move off the couch. We loved every bit of the food and dessert, we even made new friends and found another vegan restaurant that does it right so you leave wanting more! We will be back to taste the items off of the extensive regular menu. There were several items which caught my eye. We will be back sooner than later!

Yelp
I wanted something warm, tasty, and crunchy and this did the trick. So good! I came alone, got warmly welcomed and immediately seated. My service was kind and fast and my bill isn't too much I'm very pleased with my dining experience.

Quynh N.

Yelp
Love it, good food, cute decoration inside and friendly service. I ordered BBQ noodles and I like it! I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I recently switch to vegetarian for few weeks just changing flavor/diet. If you're meat consumer and just want to try something new, come to this restaurant!

Katherine G.

Yelp
Well damn. I guess I won't be returning to Lovin' Hut anytime soon. I've been vegetarian for about 8 years and have loved getting takeout from this place. I totally get that this company has an agenda...but today my mom went to pick up the food and the server very kindly told her that she was going to hell because she still eats meat. You're obviously going to run your business however you see fit, and we'll just spend our money elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
Loving Hut is my go to spot for take out when I'm craving something warm, filling, and flavorful. I have yet to try something that I don't like. I'm vegetarian and quite used to eating alternative meat substitutes and I really enjoy the ones that this Loving Hut location uses. One thing I also like about this location is that they have a wide variety of protein options - tofu, beyond burgers, veg protein, and soy alternative meats. My favorite meals (in order) are the pho, BBQ noodles, bahn mi and sizzling rice soup. The cakes as well are AMAZING. Don't leave without getting a slice of lemon cake! The location is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly and give great service. I would recommend grabbing takeout here however as they do play a vegan news channel on tv that can be...slightly off putting (this happened on one occasion). That could just be a me thing though. Overall great food, great service, great mission, and great location.

Yelp
Incredible. Why is this place not packed? Good and experience were excellent. Very unassuming and clearly family owned but don't let the low external profile turn you away. Felt like I was going to a friends house for dinner. Happy rice rolls were made fresh to order and with FRESH ingredients. Beautifully wrapped and presented they packed the crunch of the freshest carrot, jicama, with a killer peanut sauce along side. Could have made a meal out of those. Love banh mi and the Philly cheesesteak style did nit disappoint. All the crunch and spice of traditional banh mi but with a heavy soy soaked vegan protein. Crunchy and flaky baguette. Fries were fine and not too many. Sandwich was rightfully the star. Ate like a king with my cholesterol fully in check. I had never heard of Pandan leaf cake. Shame on me but this superfood makes a great cake. Has a nutty flavor and won't bowl you over but also not too sweet as many Asian desserts can be sometimes. It was delicious. Service was extremely gracious and sincere. Felt appreciated and treated like honored guests. Family restaurant ambiance but really diverse crowd from a table of college girls to a gentleman who spoke little English. Great overall vibe and experience. Go there. Go often. Don't take my place in line though. Support this great local vegan and super healthy restaurant!!

Yelp
The first time we ate here we had two dishes that were very good: the sweet & sour, and also the "pad thai" which at this restaurant is a coconut lemongrass dish (delicious, but not pad thai). We also thought the wonton soup was good. Dishes we wouldn't have again because they were only ok were the heaven rolls, the Mongolian beef, and the Nobel broccoli (has fake beef). The second time we got delivery and it was disappointing. No rice came with our order, to our surprise. The sweet & sour came with the sauce already poured on it, which makes it soggy and not as good. We tried the eggplant and it was too bland, the chow mein was bland with the noodles soggy, and the teriyaki tofu was only ok.

Yelp
DELICIOUS!! What do you call vegans supporting vegan businesses ?? The start to a Foooooodd REVOLUTION!! I LOVE helping spread the vegan E-COMMERCE!!! Now on to the business. I am making a habit of bringing clean Tupperware with me when I KNOW I will be eating out!! I am Vegan because of environmental issues and I want to ensure that my purchases don't harm the planet, I.e. tons of plastic waste. They were not able to take my Tupperware behind the counter due to safety reasons but I was able to take my order and place it in my Tupperware on my table. I had these wide rice nooodles with vegetables and tofu. It was sooooo good!!! It was like having my favorite Thai pad see eww!!! Soooooo %#£€?! Delicious!!!! I wish I worked close to this store so I can continue to eat here. It is amazing to find great vegan eats and this is definitely one of them!! Thank youuuuu Loving Hut!!!
google avatar

Yelp
If you are looking for 100% Vietnamese vegan spot this is the place! This is my second time being here and my second experience was better than the first. The location of the restaurant looks a bit off because it looks like a house off on Indian school bend with a green and yellow sign. Arrived during lunch time on a Saturday around 1130am and they serve lentil soup as a complementary. My friend who is vegan got the spicy cha cha and I got the bbq noodle with egg roll bowl. I am not vegan, however the texture of the vegan meat/seafood was similar yet different to how real beef and shrimp would be. I was very surprise how delicious, flavorful and healthy our entree was! The pricing of the meal was decent for the amount/portion that they serve! The spicy cha cha and the curry are they only 2 entrees that come with rice with no extra charge. There is an extra charge for a side of rice. The owners we're very kind and helpful. They infused their water with orange slices, yummy!
google avatar

Yelp
Just wanted to add a photo- sautéed eggplant was amazing - as was the chow fun and Thai tea.
google avatar

Camy C.

Yelp
Delicious and guilt-free!!! You don't need to be vegan to enjoy this restaurant. I will be bringing my meat-eating friends here to show them the light soon too
google avatar

Ashley V.

Yelp
I've been to the other 2 locations but tonight was my first time at this particular one. We were warmly greeted upon walking in and told we could sit wherever we'd like. This location is different than the other ones in that a server comes to your table and you don't order from the counter, which I liked. It gave it a nice sit down restaurant feeling. I also really liked the decor and overall look of the place. I felt very calm and happy while there. I forgot to take pictures of our food because I was so hungry but it was DELICIOUS. I had the Sweet and sour divine and the pandan cake. I'll be back very soon!

Yelp
Loving Hut is great! I heard about these family vegan restaurants forever ago and finally made it out to one of their locations, all thanks to Tigra. I checked out the menu online in advance so I could see what dishes they have and what I'd want to order. I appreciate that they accompany their list of items with pictures, it helped a lot. I zoned in on the BBQ noodles plate that comes with golden spring rolls cut on top and it was a great choice. The only thing I didn't like was the pickled topping of carrots and daikon but everything else was tasty. The fake beef (veg protein) was seasoned well and the rolls were crunchy and flavorful. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their picks and I got to try the spicy cha cha and the guru rice (DEFINITELY getting this next time!). 1 star off because our food took a long time, although mine somehow came out before everyone else's but after the appetizers. I'd come back for sure! They've got three other locations, one of which is in Tempe.
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
I always enjoy the food that I have at Loving Hut! This location is no different! The building is a bit non-descript and the door a little bit odd, but not a big deal. We were greeted and immediately seated upon our entrance. We had the sweet and sour "chicken" and the "BBQ" noodle bowl. What I find odd is when rice is no longer included in a main entree order...Like of course I want to have some type of carb with my saucy "chicken"!!! Both dishes were delicious. The BBQ goal came with plenty of egg rolls that we were able to share between the two of us. Great food at a great price...really have no complaints about this one!
google avatar

Yelp
This is the BEST of all the Loving Huts. Definitely the most flavor. I like the inside cozy and clean. I have been to many LH from Seattle to Atlanta to California. I have been to 4 of the 5 in Phoenix over the years.... and this one is the tastiest and best owners! :-) Thank you!

Yelp
I have enjoyed the Phoenix Loving Hut since it was formerly called the Vegetarian House. So I guess I have been a patron for at least 20 yrs. Although I am not a vegan or vegetarian, I enjoy their food immensely. It is always a treat to go there. This location gives every dish the extra love that is unparalleled at any of the other valley locations. I love everything they serve and I also love the specialty vegan grocery items that they sell, like VeriSoy TVP. Vegan shrimps, vegan ham, etc! All the good stuff! I am actually not vegan or vegetarian, but my husband and best friend are and this place inspires me to eat more plant-based because everything is so delicious and it makes me feel good eating it. My favorite go-to menu items are the Spicy Cha Cha Shrimp, the Rainbow Salad, and the Heavenly Rice Rolls! Sometimes, when I am extra lucky, they will make my most favorite thing that has not been on the menu for probably 10 yrs or more--the Stuffed Tomatoes!! The tomatoes are extra special little umami bombs and I wish they would make a comeback on the menu. Everything on the menu is really good. There are many more menu items that I love, but I just can't think of them all. It is also good to know that you can call a day ahead for celebrations and order a bigger spread! I do this for my husband's birthday sometimes and our mid-western meat-eating family happily devours these meatless masterpieces. I kinda wish they taught vegan cooking classes, because if I could make food like this everyday, I think I could go entirely plant-based! It truly is a joy to have this place in the valley and I hope they continue to thrive!
google avatar

Patricia J.

Yelp
Love it! So happy they are close by my house. Vegan Asian food, yum!!! Vegan shrimp was so good
google avatar

Chanele R.

Yelp
This is a delicious spot with very friendly owners. The menu is large and diverse, so you can grab a noodle dish, a mock meat Asian-style dish, or even a vegan burger and fries. Everything I've had has been top quality and delicious, from the fried won tons to the clay pot entree, which had a really interesting flavor. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they made pick up very easy during the covid times. Just thinking about our most recent dinner makes me tempted to make another order right now!
google avatar

Yelp
Incredible vegan food - very tasty and delicious, we love this place and go often! Favorite dish is the spicy cha cha with brown rice (and/or with veggies) - so good!

Yelp
My husband and I ordered take out from Loving Hut's Phoenix location. We were excited to try this restaurant, but a few bites into my husband's sandwich, his tooth split up to the nerve. He had to have emergency surgery on the tooth and still has a long road ahead. When I called the restaurant to discuss this with the manager, he stated that this has happened before when using a Beyond Meat Patty and told me to contact Costco or Beyond Meat. He then said if I come up there, he'll give me a refund on the food. He took zero responsibility for his product breaking my husband's tooth. We tried to resolve the issue again and my husband was spoken to rudely and hung up on. Stay away from this location. That burger has costed us $6k so far.
google avatar

Jenn B.

Yelp
What a great meal. The fried won tons were amazing. The spicy cha cha was outstanding. I think I will be eating here a couple times a week. There was a small bowl of soup presented also, luke many Asian restaurants do. The prices are appropriate. I am a fan. I must try much more of the menu.

Ankush A.

Yelp
If you are Vegan, this is a pretty good place. I'm not a Vegan or vegetarian but wanted to give it a try and found it pretty ok. Am I gonna come back, mostly no but will come for Vegan friends. Let's talk food now Spring rolls - oily but yum French fries - oily but yum Loving hut gardine burger - tastes little different but not bad Sizzling rice soup - good Pad Thai - good Sizzling rice veg - ok Sweet and sour Divine - very good Veggie delight - meh
google avatar

Jared M.

Yelp
My friend and I got take out for her birthday and we ordered 3 entrees to share. Amazed and astonished by the quality and taste. I will definitely have this restaurant on my regular places to go. As a vegan, I am so thankful For this place. I particularly loved the coconut curry dish with the rice noodles.

Yelp
Such a staple place for me! I usually always order the wontons, egg rolls, sweet and sour divine. Amazing Thai tea!!! Love this spot! Friendly owners and staff!
