Pleasant experience! It's a simple and fuss free outlet. Service was very fast and the shop owner was helpful and eager to help us take group photos too 😄 Took a bus and alighted at Joo Chiat complex and walked halfway through the entire Joo Chiat Road! The food turned out really tasty and tasted very close to what the real thing would have tasted!

I have only been here once but it is one of my favorite vegan restaurants. The food is very affordable and is great value for the portions you get. We got a variety of dishes and the food came out promptly. The food was delicious and we ended up getting a couple more dishes.

Very very very nice vegetarian food. I only tried one set meal. The flavor was awesome just like how my aunty cooks. Truly South East Asian food. Wonderful to cycle past this place and give it a try. A bit pricey but we'll worth it for their efforts in making the meals. Staff very friendly even top up my soup for me. Definitely will try again with Friends

Been looking for a good Nasi Goreng and who knew I would find it in a vegetarian bistro. Love the spice to the rice, and the satay sauce was wonderfully done as well. The toasted peanuts added some crunch and the small bowl of soup balanced out the heat. I think Loving Hut has so much potential to look like a hip Taiwan or Bali vegan hang out. They just need to tweak their interior, menu, and plating just a little. So much potential!

Google
Amazing vegetarian food that can be catered to vegan options as well, ordered the famous char kway teow and laksa and didn't disappoint! Laksa was more spices than milky style, good portions and variety of tofu used. Flavorful! Char kway teow was full of wokhey and more towards sweeter side. I suspect it was prepared earlier as they served it very fast and was alittle soggy but flavor 10/10. Maybe if you order without onion/garlics it may be freshly prepared ;) almost as good as the non-veg version outside! Apart from that, prices for drinks are alittle steep and prices of sides are way too expensive. Maybe to increase trial and offtake, owner can look into reducing portion size and prices to make it more affordable.

Had the char siew not bad, too sweet to my liking. Fish is good. However the service is disappointing. Given an order we didn’t order the waitress actually come and confronted us, saying we ordered and show her displeasure and bad services. Place the food loudly on the table. We were also charged the fish we didn’t ordered and eat. Didnt even offer a refund. Disappointed. will not visit.

Google
Consistently delicious vegan food at this restaurant. Place is almost always crowded so best to make reservations. Their local dishes are much tastier than the Western. Our favorites are the char kway teow, bean sprouts, ngo hiang, laksa and mee siam. Service staff are responsive and accommodating.

Specially made a trip down to Loving Hut to try their food after seeing many good reviews on Google, but the experience was rather disappointing with both the food and service, especially when there’s a 10% service charge. For two person, we ordered the banana leaf nasi campur set, tomyam ocean hotpot set, 5 spice Teochew roll, Thai tofu and a vegan beer. Most of the food was not bad, except the Tom yam hotpot ingredient look nowhere close to what was shown in the menu, the spring roll that came with it have very little filling and the skin was thick, it was also soft and cold when served. On the service aspect, there’s totally no eye contact from the staff and cashier, when food was served, it was just placed on the side of the table (seated on a table for 4 pax) and walked off. The staff also started to clear our table including our soup when we were still eating without checking whether we still want the soup. When come to payment, the cashier just mentioned the amount for payment without getting me to check the receipt to confirm on the items ordered.

Yelp
DELICIOUS vegan Singaporean fare! So happy to find this place. As someone who moved overseas, and now vegan, I was craving all the local Singaporean food. The laksa was excellent- super creamy and coconutty and LEMAK! My favorite was the char kway teow- wow! So delicious and flavorful. Even my non vegan friends loved the taste and flavor. HUGE portions. Come hungry!! I wish I could have tried everything.

Yelp
The vegan laksa soup was excellent, do yourself a favor and order it! While I really loved this soup I'll likely ask them to exclude all the fake fish meat next time because this type of mock meat does not mesh with me. However, the soup was slightly spicy, flavored well overall, and the tofu was excellent. One of the cooks (maybe the owner) had just finished making a durian cake (and cupcakes) and walked around to every table asking if anyone wanted to try it. I've always heard stories about durian so I was prepared to try it...ohhhhhhhhh myyyyyyyy....not for me. The cake tasted good but the frosting was durian, which smelled and tasted like a natural gas leak. Well, at least I gave it a shot... Lastly, I had to take an Uber to Loving Hut from Downtown, which was reasonably priced. I was able to get an Uber back because Loving Hut offered free wifi as well--high five to them since it's impossible to find wifi anywhere in Singapore. Overall, easy to get to, reasonably priced, excellent food, and super nice employees. I will return.

Yelp
It was another Weekend and one of my family members suggested that we should be in Joo Chiat for vegetarian. We were there at dinner timing and the place was already full house and we had to wait awhile for seats to be available. Interior was cosy and simple, just like entering into a trendy modern place. By taking steps nearer to the cashier counter, they do also have vegetarian beverages available for your selection. There is a good varieties of food available and an extensive selection of beverages for diners. Be surprised by the number of dishes from a vegetarian stall as you flip through the pages of the menu. I was rather surprised by the way the utensils was given in a small pouch with serviette. By chance, we got sittings at a big dining table in front of the cashier and interestingly the stools were craved with meaningful and inspirational quotes. Besides the available bottle of beverages at the counter, you can choose to have smoothie, flower tea and even some other refreshing drinks. Great presentation from the local delights of these Teochew Hand Made roll in 5 spices. Fragrantly prepared with sweet savoury dipping sauce and pairing with pickles aka "achar". 5-Spice Roll (Teochew Ngoh Hiang) - $9.90 6 Sticks of Satay were deliciously paired with a bowl of fragrant peanut sauce, ketupat, cucumber and pineapple cubes. It was real satisfying with the chewy texture of these Royal Satay. Royal Satay - $12.90 Unbelievable appearance as one would have thought it was real meat instead. Aromatic dish sprinkled with roasted sesame that boast the "roasted" fragrance from the dish. Feel the crispy texture and enjoy a plate of homemade Vegan Char Siew like this. Homemade Vegan Char Siew - $8 Looks like this dish is quite popular and luckily we had the final last bowl from the shop. It was really a big portion and if you are sharing other dishes, it is best to share this bowl of Laksa Lemak too. The white bee hoon is hidden in the spicy broth garnished with vegetables. Nyonya Laksa Lemak - $9.90 These deep fried tofu were generally drizzled with tangy and spicy chilli sauce . Tofu Tod - $6.90 A stomach filling set meal with a bowl of healthy grains and mushroom were are well marinated in black pepper sauce in combination of brocoli, bell peppers, carrot and cauliflower, all served in sizzling hot plate. Black Pepper Mushroom Hotpot Set - $12.90 The entire set looked rather grand as they were served in a wooden board with little popiah as side. An interesting find to know of such popular vegetarian place and also my first time ever caught in a queue for this cuisine. With healthy living on the rise, we can see more and more of vegetarian eateries coming up and this is definitely worth a travel from the West!

Yelp
Have started to go for more vegetarian/vegan food nowadays. First got to know about Loving Hut a few years ago from one of my friends' posting. Today is my 4th visit with my 1st being in Dec 2015. Organised a Xmas Eve Dinner here last year for 15pax. The manager in charge was most accommodating and reserved a vantage corner (with window view) specially for our big group. Xmas eve set dinner was $38 per pax - a very good price for a special occasion when most eateries will bank in on this and charge much higher prices. My friends have nothing but praises for the good quality and ambience. Visited the outlet last month with my hubby for dinner (his first time here). He was very pleasantly surprised by the food quality as he did not expect vegan food to taste so good. For today I'm having laksa Lemak - a very big bowl! I'm not sure whether I can finish it! Wish me luck lol. I'm giving it a 5 stars because the food quality is great and reasonably priced, very comfy ambience, efficient and friendly service from the wait staff. Just one minor point (like what Michelle M pointed out), service can be a bit slower during weekend dinner peak hours. But, I'm ok with that as the service here is already much better than a lot of other places in SG. Will be back to sample more foods for sure in the future, especially since it's in my hood.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch and surprisingly loved the food even though it's all vegan. They have house crafted juices and a menus that is well balanced to East/West cuisine preferences. Not to mention the prices are actually reasonable for the quality! This is a must try and would be a great place to introduce out of town guests to some local menu options (Nasi Lemak, Rendang, etc). Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Excellent local and western food, all healthy, vegan. Service is impeccable, reservation is necessary for weekends. We had a Char Kway Teow set, a Tofu tod, and a Sesame Chickin Claypot Rice. For two it was plenty and DELICIOUS!

Yelp
Quite surprised not much people talked about this yet. My wife is vegan and I am a meat eater. But the food here is pretty nice, even for a meat eater. Try the vegan Lasagna... the first one I have seen in Singapore! Brought a few friends here and they loved it! Except for my parents who are very traditional Chinese food people. Price point: Around $10 to $20 for a meal.

Yelp
Vegan or not, this place is wonderful-good quality, great prices and there's something to please just about anybody's tastes.
