"11 Mile Beach Beginning at Palmetto Point, at the southeastern most tip of the island, and separating the rough Atlantic waters from the quiet tranquility that is Codrington Lagoon, is a narrow swath of barrier land that runs north for 11-miles, and on one side includes one of the most stunning and isolated beaches in the Caribbean. A strip of pillow soft pink sand runs parallel to the calm turquoise, crystal-clear lagoon and apart from the Lighthouse Bay Resort, there is nothing here but sand and sea. Low Bay Barbuda Island Un incredibile lunghissima striscia di sabbia bianca circa 20 Km sul lato OVEST di Barbuda, con tantissimi sfumature rosa un, luogo incontaminato dove è veramente difficile incontrare anima viva. Si accede da Codrington in barca dal mare sempre che non ci sia lo Swell un fenomeno di onda lunga che avvicinandosi alla spiaggia si eleva con grandi frammenti, generalmente un fenomeno invernale che rende quasi impossibile spiaggiare anche con un gommone, oppure con un water taxi attraversando la laguna, oppure a pie da Palmeto Point,dopo l’uragano Irma cat 5 la lunghissima strscia di sabbia è stata interrotta per qualche centinaio di mt all’altezza del dismesso resort Light House..Per me una delle spiagge più belle al mondo.
