What an amazing park! I wish we had found this place sooner. It is clean, fun for all ages, and has restrooms/water fountains. We spent hours here during our recent trip.

My 10 year old granddaughter had a blast playing on the pirate ship. The playground area and restrooms have always been clean when we’ve visited here. This is also the first time in multiple visits we’ve seen an alligator.

What a beautiful park! We loved this park. It was perfect for walking our dog. The landscaping is well-maintained, and there are several fountains. There's even a drinking fountain for dogs. With a great playground for kids, I feel like we wouldn't want to leave if we had children.

My sister and myself decided to do some biking again in Hilton Head and we actually met for a pickup for my sister's bike at the celebration Park This park is outstanding gorgeous I mean we didn't get enough time to spend their because we were on our bikes but I just found it to be so beautiful Definitely a place to stop and have a little picnic or to walk around

If you’re in Hilton Head Island and have young children with you… take them here! So many fun activities for the kids, including misting cannons on the pirate ship and a small splash pad with fountains. There are a ton of turtles in the water and the occasional crocodile. Beautifully done park. Plenty of cool seating options for adults and nice bathrooms. Most of the playground area has an extremely comfortable rubber floor. There’s also an area with swing sets in the sand. Highly recommend!

This year we decided to turn our normal “shopping day “ into an adventure day and this park did not disappoint ! I have 3 boys 2-11 and even my 11 year old was able to enjoy the rope course in the middle of the pirate ship . The park was large enough where the children did not crowd one another and the pirate ship is open enough to where you can get to your little one quickly if needed . The park also has two other sections . One smaller play ground and a water feature ! We spent a total of 1 hr there . Great way to spend the morning and hit the beach across the street right after.

We came with a 4 and 2 year old and they loved it. Great for older kids too. Fantastic community park with natural areas, an amazing pirate ship, and a unique splash pad. There is a lot of shade but it’s not fully shaded by trees. The water misters on the ship help cool it down and make for a fun feature. Bring a change of clothes/bathing suit/towel for the littles, they’re likely going to end up wet.

Yelp
Kids love the big pirate ship playground and the giant open area for soccer, football, baseball, etc. plenty of options for kids of all ages to burn off some energy at any time of the day

Yelp
This is such an awesome playground. So fun for kids! Easy parking. A gate at the entrance, which gave me ease of mind. We saw an alligator in the water under the bridge on the way to the park from the parking lot, which was neat.

Yelp
Great place to take the kids and reduce their energy levels. On hot days, the cannons on the lower level of the ship put out a mist, so you can cool off. This is just a block from the beach, making it easy to visit on the way to or from the beach. There are some benches in the shade for parents to sit. Not far from the play area is a kids museum. Just part of the family fun the city has available for locals and visitors.

Yelp
Great spot for kids to run around and burn off some energy. Playground is accommodating of a wide array of ages

Yelp
Tons of fun for the kids! Had misters to cool off and lots of shaded seating as well. Lots of green space for the kids to play as well. The children museum is right next to it so schedule a visit there before hand too! Will def be visiting again!

Yelp
Super Cool Kids Playground Area! My son calls this the Pirate Ship Park and loves this place for a twice a day visit when we are in the area. Really nice park, boardwalks though the swamp with gators and wildlife and of course fences to keep these guys out of the playground too. The pirate ship is pretty cool for kids and makes for one of the more memorable of playgrounds for the kids. Water features to cool the kiddies off in warm weather too, so wear water appropriate clothing if you plan to partake... Who are you kidding, your kids will play in the water even if you don't bring them the right clothes. All in all a great playground!

Yelp
Great park with lots of activities for the kids to enjoy. I love that there's a children's museum next to it.

Yelp
Congratulations Town of Hilton Head on funding such a stellar park for families to enjoy for years to come. The new Celebration Adventure Park is just jaw dropping. Well planned out, safe, forward thinking, State of the art Park. This space boasts areas for concerts, picnicking, sports, wellness, play, and fun. Other areas of Hilton Head should take notes from this development. The main attraction for us was the Adventure Park area. In this gated area there are Swings, Play Structures (Pirate Ship), Climbing Zones, Splash Pools, Restrooms, Wi-Fi, and Security Cameras. Pack snacks, you are going to end up spending more time here than you first plan. There is plenty of seating for those who need it. If you are going to the playground look for the orange sun statue and park after that along the lagoon. There are bridges over the lagoon to the playground.

Yelp
This is a really nice fenced-in park with ponds, bridges, bathrooms and water fountains, a playground, water features, swings, and more. We saw an alligator and a great blue heron. Our kids had a lot of fun and it was a nice stop during our vacation.

Yelp
This park is amazing! There's a huge pirate ship for kids to play on, swings, water splash area, smaller play structure for younger kids, sand area with a seesaw, swing benches and regular benches for adults and picnic tables. There's also bathrooms and water fountains, and a little walkway to check out the turtles swimming in the pond. Shade is hard to find later in the day but this place is honestly fantastic overall. Check it out!

Yelp
If you haven't been to Hilton Head Island in a while (or ever), I'm pleased to announce they have been busy! Some great changes have occurred throughout the island with the addition of some awesome new restaurants, hotels and the redevelopment of Shelter Cove and Coligny Beach Areas. LOWCOUNTRY CELEBRATION PARK is a true gift to families with children, fur babies or anyone who loves the great outdoors. There are two gorgeous structures which I believe are restroom facilities, a huge building soon to house a children's museum (not yet open), a large central lawn great for future festivals and an AMAZING PLAY AREA for young children. The play area features a wading pond, play equipment, plenty of seating , shade canopies, sand areas, and a SUPER COOL PIRATE SHIP!!! OFFICIAL FEATURES list: * The Adventure Playground named after the ship Captain William Hilton was on when he discovered Hilton Head Island which features a reimagined design of the ship, playground, wading pool and more. * An Open Pavilion and Lawn for fun events and festivals. * The Perimeter Walk subtly lighted for evening strolls around the park. * The Setting Sun Sculpture * Two Fitness Stations * Wi-Fi * Lights and Security Cameras * The Sandbox Children's Museum (Scheduled to open early 2021) * Restrooms Facilities * Parking FINAL THOUGHTS A wonderful addition to the already amazing family friendly atmosphere of the island. The Pope Avenue side of the island is one of the most walkable areas when choosing your accommodations. Shopping, groceries, restaurants and beach access are all seconds from this park. Hilton Head without a doubt is one of our favorite family destinations, and this new park is one of the many reasons we return, like Sea Turtles to their birthplace! ENJOY! 2020 / 116

Yelp
Kids had fun for a decent while. They seem to enjoy other parks for longer which was surprising with how cool the pirate ship is.

Yelp
We have been coming to Hilton head for 31 years and they have never had a wonderful park such as this! In the spring, summer and fall they have so much to do! Our little guy who is 3 LOVES the big pirate ‍ ship! I love the fact that even if it's dark and you wanted to play there ; the lights help light up the entire park still. There is a little adventure pool/creek thing and we loved finding the hidden seashells. We go multiple times when we are there! Right across the street a few blocks down is the best coffee shop to finish or start your day at the park with! We usually hit that on our way home

Yelp
Lowcountry Celebration Park is a terrific children's park with an awesome pirate ship playground and splash pad, surrounded by beautiful native plants and a lagoon with turtles and alligators (supposedly). There is lots of free parking surrounding the park, and it features clean restrooms. Our children loved playing at Lowcountry!

Yelp
18 month olds granddaughter really loved it. Took her many days. Did not want to leave

Yelp
This is a must-visit attraction for anyone with young kids. It's paradise for 2-5 year olds. There are multiple playground structures including a giant pirate ship with mist spraying cannons, swings, and a "river" that has a constantly flow of shallow water and jets. My 2.5 year old had the time of his life running back and forth through the water feature. I only wish we had gone sooner in the week so that we could've spent more time at this amazing spot. Definitely take an extra set of clothes, towel, and diapers if needed.

Yelp
This park sets the standard! If you're visiting the island with children, you absolutely must visit this before or after the beach. Our little ones love it so much, we learned it's an "after beach" treat, otherwise they'd rather play there than in the real ocean. It has everything you could need for every age. We love it!

Yelp
Even though it's a very hot day out, this playground was a success! Beautifully made and has so much to offer for many ages. There's even a walkway along a lagoon. They have misting water canons coming out of the ship that was my personal favorite:) If you are in the area and need something for the kiddos to do, check this out!

Yelp
Super fun park for the kids to play at. Has misters to help cool you off....turtles at the bridge that you can watch swim in the water. Large green space next to it that usually has events or live music
