Löwen Hotel Montafon

This is our favorite hotel, and we visit almost every season for a few days. Our beloved Schruns would not be the same without staying here. We love absolutely everything about this place. The staff is amazing, the rooms are cozy, even the standard comfort room feels warm and inviting with its beautiful wooden interior. The management is always excellent. They remember you, they truly care, and after a few visits, you start feeling like you are coming home. The food is simply outstanding. We always book half board, which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast is fantastic, and the five-course dinner menu is always full of creative and exciting dishes. We are beyond happy with this hotel, the team, and everything they offer for the price. We will always come back!

The Loewen hotel is quite simply the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. Everything about it is first class, from the welcoming staff to the amazing food and beautiful rooms. Whilst it is clearly a five star set up, there is nothing snooty about it. I’m looking forward to returning here very soon.

Had a night in this hotel, jumped to my top 3 favorite hotels worldwide: Room was big, mega clean, elegant and with lovely fireplace. Service is just EXCELLENT, taking care continuously of our drinks and bringing all food just in time. Fully recommended, will repeat !

This hotel is wonderful. The staff are fantastic. The rooms are spacious and comfy and there is so much storage - it's perfectly designed. The food is unbelievably good. This is our second time there and we will definitely be back. Shout out to Isabel who went above and beyond to get our passports Fed Exed from Germany where we accidentally left them in a hotel safe! Isobel took all the pain away and communicated with the other hotel to make sure they arrived with us safely. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

today 01/23/24 I had lunch with my friends, the food was excellent, the restaurant is very nice and tidy. Great selection of wines! we were served by Sebastian, very professional, attentive and dedicated to his work, he made our stay beautiful! the burger with avocado was delicious, we will definitely come again. thank you

This hotel was a real find. We found the whole experience from arriving and checking in to our departure four days later 5*++++. The staff were so friendly - even with the language barrier between German and our English - from the housekeeping staff to the Manager. Everyone seemed really happy to be working there.||We arrived by EV and were able to charge our car fully in one of the bays in the huge car ark beneath hotel.||The room was superb with everything so well thought out - absolutely everything was really well appointed and considered.||The Spa was incredible. Outside pool was fantastic and warm compared to the English Channel in February. The inside pool was huge and wonderful areas of jets soothed the aching muscles from skiing. We also had wonderful massages from Agnes. Highly recommend!||As for the food - it was sensational. After skiing in France, we always come back bloated from all the bread and cheese. The food was very beautiful and delicious but also felt healthy and lacked the stodge of French Alpine cuisine. Dinner every night was an absolute joy. Breakfast was also great with a plentiful buffet where it was easy to make healthy choices if you so wished. They also served Prosecco for breakfast. ||I hesitated to write this review as I don't want too many people to know about it - it's very special. Will definitely be back next year for longer!

It is always such a pleasure to stay here. A rare dedication to style, quality and comfort is evident is every detail. I only know Hotel Löwen from frequent business trips. The new conference facilities are by far the best in the region: welcoming, efficient, versatile and straightforward. The function rooms are equipped with the latest presentation and conference calling facilities - truly I've never seen anywhere which works better. The snacks and drinks offered during breaks were highly praised for their creativity and healthiness. The rooms are done in the classic contemporary alpine style - think wood and felt. Sleep quality is high, there is abundant storage and the internet connection is fast. Every room has a beautiful view across the surrounding Alps. Some weak points may be worth mentioning: the disadvantages of the hotel's sheer size, and the aging wellness facilities. This is simply a very large, understaffed hotel, so the service is based on an impersonal and industrialized style. The restaurant is so huge that I only found the hot breakfast food area on the second day. All the staff is friendly and reliable, but too overworked to have time to build real rapport. Then there's the spa area. It's hard to believe this is the same hotel. Loungers are arranged shoulder-to-shoulder along the pool, so it gets loud and crowded at peak times. The gym was is a poor state of repair, with key cardio and weight equipment unusable. The limited opening hours of 7-20 for pool and fitness make them difficult to use before/after a busy day. So in short, the Löwen is always enjoyable but if a relaxing spa and personal service are important to you, then you might be disappointed.
