Löwenburg

It's a small yet beautiful castle. Sadly couldn't get the tour, because the tickets were sold out and didn't knew I had to reserve in advance. Still it's a beautiful place to visit

First time in the park, we'll be back in the spring! Stunning views, terrain. We climbed the stone stairs from Wilhelmshöhe Palace, the castle in the haze, very impressive. Restrooms are open The interactive video presentation in the tower is free for everyone and without visiting the museum. Very simple and easy to understand with a child))

The castle is very small. It looks bigger in the pictures online. located in the park and within walking distance of the Hercules monument and fountain. for some reason Google maps does not show the route to get to the park. use 1 tram it goes straight from the station to the park. it will take about 3 hours to visit the park

Visited while on family vacation. Totally amazing place with plenty of beautiful views and tracks to enjoy on the grounds. Definitely well worth a small hike up, now I haven't seen any track or sign for buggies or wheelchair users. As there are a good few stairs to claim up at the final part. But there might be an alternative road, that I'm not aware of.

You have to be ready to walk up and down for at least 3 hours. Good for walking

No signs on how to find this place, the gps lead us to a locked off section in the forest so we drove around the entire area til we found a parking lot on the other side that seemed reserved for hotel guests. We then hiked our way there through a park but still not a single sign pointing us in the right direction and had to rely entirley on the gps. Once we reached the castle it was closed, we arrived about 18:00. Still, It was worth it though, never seen anything like it before.

A nice little castle in an area with many walking paths through woodlands. Worth a stop if you need to stretch your legs on a long drive 👌 There's a free bathroom and a restaurant right by it if you need food as well.
