Guide: Letchworth State Park

"Situated directly in the park, Lower Falls Restaurant offers a more limited, quick-serve menu featuring items like burgers and sandwiches for visitors seeking a casual bite near the falls." - Kelsey Fowler Kelsey Fowler Kelsey Fowler is a New York City-based journalist who specializes in covering travel, business, and news. The prices have come up-( what hasn't!?) but the portion size and quality are still top notch! I love the fries! Huge portion enough for two- or three! Beef on Weck not on the menu but it is served here!

Definitely not what I was expecting when the sign says "restaurant". Although there are tables to sit at the space was very small and orders are placed at a counter and then you are called. The staff there was not very friendly but on the plus side the restrooms were very well maintained and the food was fairly standard fast food fare albeit pricy.

This was a nice restaurant to grab a quick lunch after our hike. The food was tasty and the booths were comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

They have a homemade veggie burger😍. Rice/bean/corn and very delicious! Highly recommend!

This was the best state park food I have ever had. Even though it was simple sandwiches, they were filling and of decent quality. Even the salads were pretty good. I would eat here again if I was in the area.

I’ve eaten here twice. Both times it was raining. The first time we were told they were only taking ice cream orders and the staff was less than cordial. It was 90 minutes before closing. When pressed as to why they were not taking food orders they changed their mind. We ate and then ordered ice cream but we were told they were no longer taking orders. It was 45 minutes before closing. When asked why, we were told the internet goes out when it rains. ?? We weren’t given the option to pay cash. Apparently they wanted to close early. The second time we ate there it was also raining and the internet was out but we were offered the option to pay in cash. There should be a sign on the door CASH ONLY when the internet is out or how about get a better internet provider. Food was good. Maybe the owners should look into cash only options instead of closing up early.

This isn't really a restaurant. It's more like a gift shop with a few dining tables and a register up front to order and pick up the usual fast food offerings. I got a burger and fries and my daughter had chicken fingers and fries. The burger was so thin it was almost invisible. They use much larger buns so it appears more substantial. The burger was NOT good and I struggled to eat a third of it. Luckily I didn't eat more because it screwed my stomach up for two days. Also, the fries were visibly coated in salt. They were the absolute most salty fries I've ever had. It was so bad they aren't even edible. My daughter also thought the fries were disgusting. She said the chicken fingers were just ok. You're better off avoiding this place.
