Went in on a Friday to purchase a fridge, had some issues getting someone to help us but were finally assisted after 10 minutes or so. When we went to check out we had issues with a check that was made out to Lowe's. The manager on duty was anything but helpful however our cashier was trying her best to assist us within her job capabilities. We ended up leaving without making the purchase. Came back on Saturday, we spoke to the customer service assistant, Timeka, and she was incredibly accommodating and took her time to assist us. Between her and the head cashier, they are able to accept the check that was previously "not accepted there." We schedule delivery for the next day, Sunday. We were told someone would call us at 7am, we never received a call so we called Lowe's requesting a time frame. The delivery drivers arrive during said time with no issues. The fridge that was delivered to our home was the demo/floor model, when we paid full price for a brand new fridge. Delivery drivers handled the situation well and appropriately but we are beyond disappointed with Lowe's. Can not wait to be done with this fiasco so I can never step foot inside of a Lowe's again.
*updated to stay that, David, the appliance manger contacted us on Sunday, the day of our first attempted delivery of the used item. He discounted 10% of purchase price. We appreciate David, and Timeka at this location, whom we felt were outstanding service members. However we will still choose hardware stores over Lowe's*
