DO NOT SCHEDULE ANYTHING FOR DELIVERY! Lowes Warehouse service is terrible. It is with great disappointment that I have to submit this review of the recent experience I have had with Lowes Home Improvement, specifically the appliance Warehouse or shipping services that supported my recent purchase and attempted delivery from the Lowes located at 3909 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28311. Although the ordering and purchase of the refrigerator at the store itself on December 8, 2025 was pleasant with the associate in the appliance section knowledgeable and helpful, the issue is with quality control and the poor attention to detail shown by the Warehouse staff and warehouse management shipping the refrigerator out for delivery on December 10, 2025. This appears to be a consistent, recurring issue as the store associate advised me to refuse delivery and call a customer service number he provided if the unit arrived damaged. It was almost as if he was predicting the future, or had some sort of bizarre insight that Lowes no longer maintains any sort of quality control, pride in service, or even care for the products entrusted to them by commercial companies as a distributor. Additionally, I was notified by the delivery team that they told warehouse personnel that the unit appeared to be damaged as the shipping box was damaged and went so far as to request a different unit for the delivery. The delivery team was told “no” at that time and that the unit was fine and told to proceed with the delivery. I took time off from work in order, using valuable time from my day, my paycheck, and my employer, to facilitate the delivery. Once the unit arrived at my home, the delivery team and I noticed severe damage to the refrigerator. I refused delivery of the damaged unit and immediately called the customer service line that the store associate had provided. Separately, the delivery team called the warehouse who attempted to get me to take the refrigerator until a replacement could be sent out. An exchange is reportedly on its way and will be delivered on Saturday 13 December 2025 once again requiring me to adjust my plans for the day in order to facilitate the delivery of a unit that should have been delivered and installed without issue earlier in the week. Not only has my valuable time been wasted, but Lowes wasted the additional assets and time of the delivery team. Through neglect and poor quality assurance and quality control Lowes also has a damaged unit that they will either hope someone buys at a cheaper price, or that they will have to write off. All of this could have been solved by the management and staff at their distribution warehouse practicing a modicum of pride and work ethic to provide the best service and product to their customers. Within the next two years I will be looking to buy quite a few appliances and other home improvement items as I build a new home. At this time I will likely seek a store other than Lowes to fulfill any needed appliances, supplies, or equipment needed to complete that home. Lowes used to stand as a pillar of home improvement, Lowes used to have a reputation that customers knew they could rely on. Lowes used to have a standard that other home improvement stores aspired to emulate. That isn’t the case now.

I went here earlier today around about 3-4pm. I had asked an associate for assistance near the power tools section and he just kept going like I wasn’t even there. I then look for another five minutes for another associate to help me find a manager and somehow bumped into a manager that was assisting another customer. I approached him and asked him could he help me and I told him it would be fine if he finished assisting the other customer before me, as I was already willing to wait for his assistance and address my complaint. After I spoke to him that same associate that ignored me seen that I was about to speak to him and came to ask could they assist me and I told them no , the manager said he would be back to assist me.I stood in that power tools section for about 30 minutes waiting after this occurred for this man to come back and he never did. I seen down an aisle where he was still assisting this other customer when I had first addressed him. I would like to say I receive very poor service from this location every time I go here . Today I was about to spend over 100 or 200 dollars but I decided to leave this horrible store. It seems they never have enough help or they just have rude associates. I was extremely disappointed and unpleased with my visit here today. The manager could’ve easily gave me to another to resolve my issue and hear my complaint but this wasn’t done. Instead I left empty handed and with a displeased visit from this store .

I don’t know if they are short handed at this store but when you need help, associates walk right by you. This happened the two times I been there. There won’t be a third time! When I finally got a chance to talk to an associate, she was rude and didn’t take time to listen to the customer before responding with curt remarks. She did this twice, she is light skin who has blondish dyed hair and wear glasses. The one bright star goes to Nathan who actually took time to assist my wife and I although he was busy, he exemplified good customer service.

These 5 stars are solely for Rasha- Rasha is a very helpful, customer service oriented employee. Once she identifies an issue with an order, she sticks around to solve it instead of handing it off to another employee or walking past the issue. Her attitude and helpfulness are beyond amazing. I’ve had the pleasure of being assisted by her twice now- Thank you Rasha!

With my son needing attention and distractions all around, Shauna who came from SC never skipped a beat. She made sure I had everything I needed, handled the moment with grace, and showed such genuine compassion. Today I had a delivery of a washing machine a whirlpool. The Ramsey Street Lowe’s delivery team was amazing. The driving skills of Antoine was especially notable as he was able to squeeze into a tight area and make the delivery seamless. His associate in the delivery Dwayne also was technically knowledgeable of the entire process and made everything understandable and practical. The team was courteous, professional, and fully confident, and whose personality from both was pleasing And extremely positive. They are true role models for Lowe’s and I make this assessment based on my 42 years of serving United States Army at Fort Bragg as a worker as a leader and as a senior administrator. I’m usually in and out of the store getting exactly what I need. Today I was needing help at self-check out with military verification, the original employee in self-checkout proceeded to help two other people who requested help after my register was already blinking red. I waited another 4-5 minutes when a different employee, Janie, came over who was very rude and unwilling to help or explain the situation. I’ve never had an issue with verifying my military status before, the employee input ‘No’ rather than ‘Yes’ to viewing my I.D, therefore my discount was not applied. I’m very disappointed in this store and will not be coming back for a while.

I went to the Lowe’s on Ramsey St today, in Fayetteville NC. I was immediately helped by Ron, a veteran employee. Ron went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I needed to complete my project. Ron set a very high standard, for how Lowe’s employees should perform. His performance reflects well on him, other employees, and on the entire Lowe’s community.

Absolutely terrible customer support and communication. I had scheduled for a pick up of material from my house on Monday. They no showed. Called and they said someone came. A lie, I was home All day. Rescheduled for Tuesday. No show. and when I called they said I wasn't scheduled until Wednesday. I have an automated voicemail saying otherwise. They will try to gaslight you and just keep pushing the schedule back. Do not order installations, deliveries, or house pick ups from this store.

We purchased a LG stove when it arrived it was damaged, the store wouldn't take it back until another stove was charged to My credit card. They installed the new stove and picked up the damaged one and the charges were not removed in 14 days as promised. Every time I called the store for help no one new what was going on. The 1st stove was purchased June 28th and We are still waiting on Aug 28th for this issue to be resolved VERY POOR SERVICE, WILL NEVER BY ANYTHING FROM LOWES AGAIN!!!!!!!

Newer lowes . Pretty nice . The setup is a good walk through . The vegetable plants were decent in comparison to other lowes but not a huge selection of tomato plants at all. The staff I interacted with were helpful

Good lord this is the worst Lowe's I've ever been in. Slowest service when ordering pick up, no one ever made it out to my car for my curbside order. Then spent 35 minutes in the line to pick up the order. One night they closed it down to one register for the last hour of being open. There were about 40 people in line that reached to the back aisles. Not super helpful or great when we're all supposed to be spaced out for the pandemic. No clue why they are running it as poorly as they are but across town that Lowe's seems to have it figured out.

We paid a lot of money to have our yard fenced. The day before their their contractor called and said he's going to push me back 3 weeks because lowes didn't deliver the concrete. He tells me to call them and take it up with them. I do, and lowes does not come through. The contractor does though, and goes to the store and picks it up himself to have it delivered. They way over estimated the supplies we needed, so I still have materials just laying in my yard that they were supposed to come pick up. They never did. Now, several weeks later I get a notice from code enforcement... they never got a permit to have the fence installed. And I can't get ahold of anyone!

TWICE I have placed simple pickup orders and BOTH times waited SO LONG, called SO MANY TIMES, till they insisted I come in, which I cannot do. The second order, I went home and said 'have someone call me when they're ready to bring my things out, I'll come back'. Nobody ever bothered. Saw many employees with masks around their chins. This place would be better run by actual primates. If you call, you get put in a hold loop forever and ever, nobody does a dang thing. What a total dump.

Just don't even bother. I've made the mistake more times than I'd like to admin. More than once I've driven out there for store pickups that I got notified were ready only to find out they hadn't pulled the items and sometimes they haven't even been in stock. I've been left outside by a gate waiting to get a larger item that they told me had to be picked up at the garden center and to wait outside the locked gate, only to have no one show up. They just kept telling me to wait. Finally someone happened to wander by and told me that wasn't even the procedure and no one had been called to help me. They ended up having my item at the customer service desk. Most recently, I schedule flooring to be installed. It was supposed to be done in about 3 weeks. Two months later and many calls to check on where my stuff was, it was finally delivered. Only, it wasn't my stuff. Part of what they delivered was mine and part of it had someone else's name on it. The rest of my stuff is missing. The installation still isn't scheduled. I finally gave up and tried to cancel and they want to charge me a restocking fee after their repeated mistakes. The store won't even return the installation team's calls yet they expect a customer to be able to get any assistance? I'm so done with this store.

Came here to buy a dryer after they sent me here from a different location I was told to come here and ask for the appliances service advisor when I came she denied that any one called her from a different location and she was very rude after 15 minutes she came back to me and told me to go pay for the dryer at customer service when she could of just charged me for it there came to customer service was there two unprofessional girls one talking on the phone for about 15 minutes then the second girl went to look at the cookies that was setting on a table then came back so mad and I don't know why she's mad and was talking to me in A very rude way never asked me if I'm a my lowes customer then after 4 times of giving her my number she finally charged me for the dryer then I'm outside for 45 minutes and haven't got my dryer yet I'll never come back to this location. And I'm advising anyone else not to come to this location.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I've had several bad experiences but kept going back but I've given up. Worse Lowe's ever. Customers service rep needs a class on customer service as she cuts you off over the phone and hangs up on you mid conversation. They sell you a product that they do not have on stock and then end up rescheduling your deliveries back to back. Fail to notify you that they will not deliver until you've missed half a day of work. They have lost me as a customer. Very dissatisfied with this store.

Well lets just say I wouldnt get windows from there anymore. They did a great job on 2 sets of windows but when you put in a hard days work and you come home to find a half dozen nails sitting outside your childs window. concrete chunk and foam laying on ur upstairs carpet torn out screens left behind along with other stuff in a disarra, pissed off is an understatement. You see when I go to work I stay there until the complete job is done and if I got to stay a little longer to make sure its done correctly then I stay longer. When I come home from said job and have to clean up the mess of someone I paid to do another job thats just unacceptable. I didnt pay some kid down the street 20$ to do this, I paid a team of people 3 grand to do this and it still wasnt done properly. You know what I do when a nail falls to the ground. I search until I find it cause I know my kid or my wife or my dog might step on it. I guess when your in a hurry to start the next job though just saying screw it and moving on is a way easier answer. Lowes called afterwards and the lady did apologize and said she would inform a manager but no word from them. Par for the course. Some folks want to just get a paycheck, I work to do a job, I guess I have different standards. Oh well I have 2 other sets of windows needing replaced that I guess will be going to someone else who will likely do a better job for cheaper.

I agree with a lot of reviewers here. Most of the employees treat you like you aren't worth their time. Laugh at you when you need help, mock you and that's when you can actually get their attention. It's not just one experience but multiple dealing with this Lowe's location

They have zero idea what's going on in this store. You place an order. No one calls you to inform you that the order has been fulfilled. You come to store. Then they tell you part of your is damaged and they're waiting on fulfillment. Another week goes by, no call, you to to the store. They tell you the order is not in. Then you get an email from Lowe's stating you have a partial order. You go back to the store. They are unable to find your items. Finally, you're told your order is complete, they just don't know where it's stored in the store?!? After an hour they find your order but it's delivery day and it'll be another hour before they get it out to you because it's blocked by other pallets. Ok. You return a few days later, they can't find your order. You ask for a refund at this point. The manager tells you've already been refunded. At this point you contact your bank and place dispute. If you have a project and need to order anything go anywhere but this Lowe's!!!!

I was on hold for 15 minutes, never making it to the appliance department and got hung up on. Called 3 more times and they hung up on me every time. I would NEVER buy anything from here.

I'm currently renovating my home and have spent thousands of dollars at lowes. One purchase I made was about $1200 for laminate flooring. It took us longer than 90 days to install the flooring. I'm in the military and currently in training away from home. After we finished the floor we had about 6 packages of flooring left, unopened. I called to make sure I would be able to return the floor with my receipt and the operator was pretty rude. She just told me it says on the back of my receipt you cant return anything after 90 days. I tried to explain my situation but she didnt care. Customer service is lacking. I will go to home depot

The Paint section needs more customer service training. There were three ladies working the paint section. The 2 older ladies were putting up products but there was another associate possibly a team lead that did not even acknowledge me. She left the section as soon as she saw me. No "I will be with you shortly," nothing. She came back and still did not acknowledge me standing there waiting for her services. I simply left everything at the paint section counter and left the store. I didn't buy anything and probably will never return to this Lowe's ever. Please train your staff on customer service, this is imperative.

This has been a horrible experience with getting carpet installed in my rental property. Lowe's has made mistake after mistake. They sent the contract to the outside agency but never marked it as a 72 hr install. When I called them they had me call the install coordinator who then had me call the actual install company. On the third day of a 72 hr install, they said they need the power on for carpet to acclimatize. I has the power on that day and three more days they are not sure when they will install. They have to call on Monday. Meanwhile I have tenants waiting to move in. Lowe's takes the money quickly buy offers no support after they have your $1,000 of dollars. Please go to Home Depot!

The only reason I am giving it a 2 is because of the lady who works in the paint department. I went in today and was ignored by employees, anytime I asked for help was told I don't work in that department or put their head down and walked by. Tried to look at tile for our kitchen remodel but they left power equipment sitting in the aisle and blocking it. Guess I will drive the extra distance to Home Depot since we are remodeling a whole house.

Went in on a Friday to purchase a fridge, had some issues getting someone to help us but were finally assisted after 10 minutes or so. When we went to check out we had issues with a check that was made out to Lowe's. The manager on duty was anything but helpful however our cashier was trying her best to assist us within her job capabilities. We ended up leaving without making the purchase. Came back on Saturday, we spoke to the customer service assistant, Timeka, and she was incredibly accommodating and took her time to assist us. Between her and the head cashier, they are able to accept the check that was previously "not accepted there." We schedule delivery for the next day, Sunday. We were told someone would call us at 7am, we never received a call so we called Lowe's requesting a time frame. The delivery drivers arrive during said time with no issues. The fridge that was delivered to our home was the demo/floor model, when we paid full price for a brand new fridge. Delivery drivers handled the situation well and appropriately but we are beyond disappointed with Lowe's. Can not wait to be done with this fiasco so I can never step foot inside of a Lowe's again. *updated to stay that, David, the appliance manger contacted us on Sunday, the day of our first attempted delivery of the used item. He discounted 10% of purchase price. We appreciate David, and Timeka at this location, whom we felt were outstanding service members. However we will still choose hardware stores over Lowe's*

I have to agree with another reviewer, the people who work here seem to care less about customers and they give little help. Many seem to just show up for their paycheck. There is a nice older blonde lady who works up by the registers, so she seems to be their best and nicest employee. I always look for her to check out. I recently had an issue and contacted a manager twice--and it was never resolved.

Take the trip down Ramsey for this Lowes instead of the one on Skibo. We have lived here 3 years and we have NEVER had bad service at this Lowes, however the Lowes on Skibo consistently has terrible service!

Quick applause for Ms. Liz at Lowe's Ramsey Street. Just received an email from our tenants this morning that our thousand dollar fridge (delivered YESTERDAY) had a dent in it! OmG! After a few tries, finally got Ms. Liz on the phone, and no questions asked, she ordered another from their warehouse and will have it delivered as soon as they get it in. THANK YOU and thank goodness there's still good, quality customer service here in America! This place has always been good to us, and especially to the military community. Good 'ole Lowe's.

A friend and I experienced the worst customer service I have dealt with on 26 May 17 at approximately 6 pm at the Ramsey St. Lowes. Basically, after paying for an item, 2 different employees wouldn't help us look for the item (railroad ties) and told us to look behind the store (isn't that their job?). We found some up front that were convienent to load, but were told by 2 different employees we couldn't have those. They wanted us to choose from a pile of busted up railroad ties. The manager agreed that we couldn't choose the specific railroad ties. Finally, they said we could take the ones we wanted... so 3 employees watched us struggle to bust the steel bands with a screwdriver and a wrench instead of helping us. As a DIY kind of a guy who has spent $5k plus at this store in the last 6 months, I am disappointed. Lowes has lost my business.

I just called and made my order over the phone with this store. Victor was great he got right to the item and ask if I needed a couple of other things to go with my order. If I had needed them I most certainly would have appreciated him reminding me. When I needed to pay I got a young lady named Taylor and she was great as well. I could tell I wasn't bothering her but she actually wanted to help me. She is even going to send me the receipt so I don't have to wait for it until pickup time. Lowe's- These two really need raises so they will stick around and you can have good customer service and return customers. It makes sense, just think about it!

We purchased a hot water heater on a Saturday morning (month ago) from the store at this location. We paid the Mercy Fee to have them install it the same day, because it was leaking. Later that evening we received a call advising they did not have anyone available to come out. They agreed to take off the mercy fee and would have someone come out early that Monday morning. I called the store around 10:30 am on Monday and was told the entire purchase had been refunded and that no one was coming out. They said we had to go back to the store to re-purchase the hot water heater. I live out of town and had gone back by then and my mother had to go back to the store. They ended up getting a 3rd party vendor to come out the next day. He did installed the heater, but the water was only lukewarm. We called for three days to have him come back out. The first 2 days the installer said he would come back and on the 3rd day he said "Sorry, I just install them and do not go back to homes". We contacted Lowes and they had someone else (supervisor) come out who found the thermostat was set too low or just not high enough. Lowes home office agreed to alter the bill for the inconvenience and said he would relay that to the store manager. For some reason that was not done. We now have 2 charges for 2 water heaters on the Lowes Credit Card. It seems this would be a simple fix, but that is not the case. I've called several times over past 2 weeks to have them correct this and it still has not been corrected. The store manager is aware of the problem and even though the mistake was made at her store she claims she does not have the authority to make those changes. I have escalated this issue with the Marketing Director who is to call me back with 24 hours. I have been promised return calls on numerous occasions and I always end up calling back to again be told "Someone will call you back in 24 hours". This has been a "TOTAL NIGHTMARE" for a simple purchase and installation from a company that promises great Customer Service. I expected more than this from Lowes.
