We had a really good experience when we had to purchase a new washer yesterday. A very helpful associate, I believe his name is Alan, not sure though, assisted us. We got in and out quickly. Our associate was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly!

Would like people in garden center to know about the plants. Would also have liked a warning that they were locking the doors closest to our car as well. Had to go inside to check out and walk a ways back to the car. Pricey, but I guess everything is pricey these days. Good selection of plants.

I am like many new to the area home owners, I'm here all the time. I received great service on Wednesday morning. Aaron is an awesome guy. He's always helpful and always friendly. Sometimes I think I'd go there just to say hi. However, if you go to Lowe's after 5 p.m., the level of service is significantly less efficient.

I come to this location often and never have any issues. Today I had such a good experience though that I had to write a review. Gustavo in plumbing was very informative and helpful. He saved me time and money with his product knowledge. I also had to use guest services on my visit and they were also very competent. All around great experience today. Thanks Forney Lowe’s team:)

Hubby and I stopped to see the outdoor furniture and storage units. We were both impressed by the cleanliness and stock of merchandise they have on hand. The plants looked healthy. The staff was polite and very helpful. A.J. a team member helped us find exactly what we were looking for. So we'll definitely be back to this store and give him our business. The absolute worst Lowe's in all of DFW. Need something delivered? Good luck ever actually getting it even thought you already paid for it and have a scheduled delivery date. Need an update on the delivery? Too bad, they don't care and will actually hang up on you mid conversation. AVOID THIS LOWES AT ALL COSTS

I've been by the store twice and all I get is "it hasn't been assembled" They want be to take it home & assembled it myself. The whole reason I bought from Lowe's was the free assembly, and now I find out itdon't exist.

Rude employee backed by rude store manager who treated me terribly. I drive to Lowes in other places or home depot or other stores rather than deal with Forney Lowes. In my 68 years I have seen scores of big retailers go out of business soon after they began no longer treating customers as king. It is predictably the result when customers are mistreated.

This lowes is a scam because they put out fake promotion in order to sell. Bought a washer and dryer set and we saw a $150 credit cash back if we purchase the two. The sales guy assisting us had no idea what it was and gave us a copy of the flyer and told us to call the number there which was the lowes corporate. Then when we called the corporate had no idea about the promotion. Until now, I called the local lowes and was told to call Bianca, but I still never got a call back. Do not believe any promotion they put out unless they will give you the cash back then and there. I will be posting photos of the flier they put out when I purchased $1800 worth of washer and dryer.

This has to be one of the most poorly ran companies in America. They brag about their customer service while thinking nothing of switching you to different departments and getting the wrong departments for over 20 minutes Did the store manager insist on something that is not entirely part of the process and act like there's nothing he can do about it Then the CEO of the company Marvin Ellison is getting the visionary award next year in Washington DC or New York Marvin what vision do you have how to tear apart your company and make it look crappy I will never do business there again I am done

June 6, 2023 We ordered 75 bags of mulch and scheduled delivery through our local Lowes #2441, 902 E US HIGHWAY 80, Forney, TX 75126. We requested that the delivery be moved around back by the patio.The pallet was delivered when we left for a quick lunch. It was delivered and set in a location which BLOCKED OUR GARAGE. We immediately contacted MIKE BETTIS at the Forney Lowes and he explained that no one would be available to come and move the blocking pallet until "one other day this week". I again explained that we couldn't get our cars in or out of the garage until that pallet was moved. He apologized but stated that the delivery schedule was very tight and that Lowes would be unable to move the pallet and unblock the garage until "another day later this week". I observed that the delivery truck couldn't be very far away because they had just made the delivery within the last 15-30 minutes. MIKE BETTIS again said that there was no way Lowes could move the pallet and UNBLOCK my garage before "someday later this week". I explained that this was unacceptable and extremely poor customer service. I then contacted Customer Service via telephone 800-445-6937 and spoke with "Shonna". Again, I explained that the moments ago Lowes delivery was BLOCKING our garage. "Shonna" (no last name) apologized and stated that there was nothing that could be done. I then requested to escalate my call and please allow me to speak with a District or Regional Manager. "Shonna" said, "Im sorry we are not set up that way. There is no procedure to contact them." After again explaining the situation, "Shonna" eventually agreed to "put in a request" to have the delivery moved "as soon as possible" "sometime this week". I thanked her and said that in light of this abysmal customer service that I would rather return the delivery and receive a full refund. "Shonna" told me that she would initiate the return process and send in the proper "request". A short time later, I received a call from MIKE BETTIS and he said that he was the manager at the Forney Lowes #2441 and that he had contacted the delivery truck and spoke with them. He said that the delivery crew told him that there were "too many cars parked" at the delivery location and that they had to leave the delivery where they did. I stated plainly to MIKE BETTIS that the statement made by the delivery crew was an OUTRIGHT BLATANT LIE. THERE WERE NO VEHICLES PARKED IN OUR DRIVEWAY WHEN THIS DELIVERY WAS MADE. We only have the two: one is in the garage and the other we drove to lunch. I told Mr. Bettis that there is now one car in our driveway because THE GARAGE IS BLOCKED BY THE LOWES DELIVERY. I asked Mr. Bettis why he thought the delivery crew felt the need to lie about this unless they were very much aware of their delivery failure. So either the delivery crew lied to the manager or the manager lied to me. MIKE BETTIS told me that the pallet that had been delivered earlier would be moved within a few hours. He was unable to to provide an exact time, or even a "no-later-than" time. I thanked him and explained that we just wanted to return the delivery and receive a full refund. He said that the pallet would be picked up and that a full refund would be issued. I just want to point out that we are returning the delivery and we are expecting a FULL REFUND solely because of the POOR SERVICE. Judging from the other reviews @https://www.corporate-office-headquarters.com/lowes this is not a one-off, isolated incident. Surely, Lowes can find a much better way to resolve these types of issues BEFORE they become a larger issue/complaint. Is it a management or a labor shortfall? There is a history and a culture of lying at this Lowe's. As for the promised "full refund" they lied about that as well. They charged us $80 for delivery (or $80 for BLOCKING our GARAGE). Lowe's delivery crew made the mistake but the customer pays for Lowes mistakes and poor service.

Whatever you do do not buy ANY appliance from Lowe's Forney. 3 weeks and still no washer and dryer. Terrible communications. Lies and broken promises Promised phone calls not returned. Dryer was destroyed in box and another in stock but 2 weeks and still no delivery. Washer terribly scratched in box, still no washer. And we got these models because they were in stock. Still never spoken to a manager. I will never buy another appliance from Lowe's. Period !

Lowe's promised a $100rebate and has not delivered nor will anyone return my calls. Lowe's is not timely with rebates. I was told 8 weeks for my $1000 rebate. It's been 4 months now I have had to resubmit my information a month and half ago because Lowe's rebate offer was known to have a processing issue. Lowe's if you new it was an issue why did you not advise to submit online in the first place. I have been hung up on several times when asking to speak with a supervisor. The lack of service and lack of sticking to your time frame on the $1000 you promised when I purchased an HVAC is ridiculous. It's almost as though your hope is that I will leave it alone and you won't have to pay me. Don't offer a rebate if you cannot deliver on your offer.

We purchased a new refrigerator and stove top two weeks ago from the mesquite store and scheduled delivery today. We received no confirmation and canceled all plans sitting and waiting all day with our stove disconnected. We called around noon and found out it is coming from the Forney store. It is now 8pm and no word we will be canceling our order and proceeding with purchasing the same equipment fro NFM since Lowes will not honor an agreement. We went into Forney and talked to Donna. She said they don't deliver on Sunday and it will have to wait till Wednesday. She told us to come back after it was delivered and she will provide a 10% discount. We missed they kept the receipt. 5-8-23 we came in to pay the bill and told them about the discount. The clerk called up Donna and she confirmed it. The clerk could not figure out how to do it and Kim said she couldn't contact Donna and couldn't give any discounts. We gave up and still have a bad taste from a major purchase from Lowes, that will never happen again.

After posting this disaster of customer care, I will be calling Lowes in Forney, Tx. to cancel my order and cut up my Lowes card. On March 10, 2023 I ordered a Husqvarna riding lawn mower on line. It was about $2,500.00 cost to me. The web page for the Forney store informed me that there were 2-3 available at the store and that I could expect delivery by the coming Sunday, As of this time, it has not been delivered. I filed a formal complaint about 3 days ago with the promise that the store manager would contact me. As of this time, Mr. Langford, the store manager, has not. I called the store about 7:30 a.m. this Friday morning 17Mar23 and talked with Eric. I related my displeasure and he assured me that someone would call shortly to offer an explanation. Some 4 hours after hearing nothing back, l again contact the store where I was referred to a person named Ethan. Ethan gave the same run around as Eric and then told me he had told Eric to call me back to update me. What a surprise, I have yet to hear from Eric. I then inquired who was the store manager to which he replied Mr. Langford. I told him that I should like to speak to Mr. Langford, but alas he had already gone home early for the day. I then found that a Mr. Hoover was the assistant store manager and I asked to speak with him. I was quite surprised to see he was still there on Friday afternoon and again, I relayed my problem with my long delayed order. Mr. Hoover advised me that "rest assured your order will be on the delivery truck and delivered today". As of 8:22 p.m. it is dark outside and NO DELIVERY. I called the Forney store again and was put in touch with the head cashier who informed me that the delivery was out of his control and could be delivered any time from 8 pm to 10 pm. As I began to ask another question, he hung up on me. Perhaps I could understand this if the delivery was for a garden hose, a bag of dirt, and a shovel. However, that is not the case. It was a high value and high cost item. I would not recommend Lowes home improvement store in Forney, Texas to my worst enemy. They are the epitome of incompetence.

Buying and installing appliances is a complete JOKE! I couldn't schedule for install with Lowe's until the dishwasher was delivered. Then I couldn't purchase our schedule install over the phone had to be done in-store. From delivery until now.. the dishwasher has been sitting in my garage waiting for install for 10 days waiting to be scheduled to be installed. Whoever the 3rd party contractor will not call...even Lowe's appliance line cannot get anyone to answer the phone. I just want services i paid for... I am so over this run around. I getting my refund and hiring an appliance shop to install!

Update: the legs on our dishwasher are broken.... Worst experience ever buying appliances. We bought a whole new kitchen suite when we bought our house. Delivery took over a week, when asked why so far out there was no real explanation given. When we finalized our purchase the lady told us they would haul off and install everything for us. When they finally arrived 9 days later (and wasting our whole day waiting because they didn't show up till five when we were told between 8-10 am)they told us no they don't install. So what did they do? Left everything in the boxes in our living room hooked up the fridge and left leaving all their trash behind them. Then we were installing we come to find that there is parts missing so if we want our appliances to work we have to go pay for what's missing. Never. Again

This store was a nightmare, one cashier open and one self checkout open on a Friday evening, employees walking around not being helpful, place was a nut house. I've been in two different Lowes stores in the past week, and both are suffering from lousy customer service and lazy employees, not sure why the service in these places have gotten so bad, it didn't use to be that way.

We bought some cabinets bases at the Lowes in Forney. Paid for them and wheeled them out to load them up. It was so hot out my husband and I were getting ready to load them into the bed of our truck and a young man named Hitesh spotted us and came out to help load them .... I know this is just customer service that should be expected anywhere but the truth is that now a days most of the time the workers just stand and watch especially if they don't think you see them. Customer service is a lost art and I think it's so important and definitely worth the mention... Hitesh was so polite and Happy to help. thank you to him! You are why we will continue shopping Here!

Fantastic experience here. We needed some help with some screws for a project and were assisted by 2 fun and delightful gentlemen. We then mozied into the outdoor light fixtures area where we needed something from the backstock and were helped immediately. He insisted, for our convenience, that we could leave the items at the customer service desk for pick up by our contractor the next morning. This is where everything went off the rails. The girl working the customer service counter was the rudest and most inhospitable person I have seen in awhile. My mom was met with attitude and lackadaisical intrest the entire time she was there. I had walked off to pick out a new weed eater and did not think my mom would need a chaperone for the customer service desk, but alas, I was wrong. When I confronted the person, she was just as crappy to me as she was to my mom. This location is legit and gives you that smal town service feel until the customer service desk.

Attempted to authorize my card twice for the same order. When the second authorization didn't go through (because the first one "took" the money) it declined. Because of this faulty system, Lowes canceled by order and refused to deliver the fridge.

I will never shop at Lowe's very pissed off with the employee that came and took our order for a shed we wanted he was more concerned on listening to my husband arguing with our bank we had told him we wanted an 8x10 shed he wrote it wrong on the paperwork and wrote 8x8 and when the people that build the shed did such a shitty job put it their way not the way my husband wanted Ithaca nails sticking out paint job was horrible a 6 year old probably would of done a better job painting it husband argued with Lowe's and the shed builders nothing was resolved now I'm stuck with a shed that was built in a hurry people don't spend your money at Lowe's they don't care about their customers the shed builders said that we had to talk to Lowe's and Lowe's said we had to talk to the shed builders they were blaming one another so I suggest hire a professional if you want a shed because these clowns don't know what the hell they are doing I will never spend a dime at Lowe's I was a good customer I spent four grand when I was got my patio built I got a lot of patio furniture but like I said never ever again

They advertise to have things ordered to be delivered in a certain time and they miss that timeline repeatedly! Sometimes by months! Last time we ordered an oven and when my item was supposed to already be here that the supplier didn't even know about it however the website said they had 86 in stock. We cancelled when they gave us 3 different delivery dates and it was going to be another 8 weeks! Called an appliance store in Terrell, they ordered that day installed it the next day AND it was the same price as Lowe's. Same oven!!! Have not been a fan of them for a while!

So bought a grill online. Pretty good deal, and free assembly to boot! I was happy. Bought on like a Thursday, they called and said would deliver on Monday. Come Saturday they call and said that their "assemblers" don't come in until Tuesday and the one they had on the floor is damaged. We can deliver on Thursday. Not happy, but fine. Come Thursday they deliver... damaged. I sent it back. I called and they say they don't have another one in stock, but they'll see what they can do and call back. Waiting... Update same day... They called back. I told them I wanted a new one built and delivered, but they don't have any more. The damage was screws missing from the burner lid. Guy says they can get screws and fix it and redeliver. I said fine, but I'm not happy. He said he'll give me a 10% credit for my trouble. That makes me happy. At least they're owning up to the mistake and trying to keep me as a customer. I know mistakes get made... it's how you recover from a customer service perspective that makes the difference. Hopefully I'll be grilling later tonight! Raising my rating by 2 stars for their efforts.

We bought a refrigerator, washer, dryer, and riding lawn mower for our new house. We spent over $7000. The refrigerator arrived damaged, so the delivery men had to take it back to the store. They did not have the same one in stock so we had to go to Lowe's and shell out another $600 to get the next model up. Otherwise we would be out a refrigerator for however long. The next refrigerator arrived fine. Here is the kicker and what prompted me to write this review. My husband cuts the grass on our $2000 John deer and the belt snaps! He calls Lowe's and Lowe's tells him come on up and get a free belt. They said they don't have anyone to work on them. He's outside in 100 degree heat trying to figure out how to put the new belt on. This is beyond ridiculous. He should not have to do this. They should be bringing out a brand new lawn mower. I am done with Lowe's. Shame on you, Lowe's.

I've asked to speak to a manager twice and she pickup last calls, explains the problem to the manager and the manager stays in the office and won't come speak to me. This is unacceptable, especially when I could have picked it all out myself faster.

This store has the worst customer service ever! In store you can never find a employee in the department you need, it's as if they are all on a break. You push the call button and no one ever responds so you have to go all the way to the customer service desk just to ask for help. When you do finally get someone to help you they seem oblivious as to what you need. I placed a order for some appliances, was told refrigerator would be delivered by 2:30pm on the delivery date and would receive a phone call prior to them coming, no call, no delivery. Called the store to find out where my order was and was hung up on twice while I was supposed to be on hold. Called back a third time only to have to explain the whole situation all over again. This time was told they would check on my delivery and call me back. I waited 30 minutes, no call. I then called customer service who then told me my delivery was not on today's schedule? Juan Gomes in sales was who scheduled my delivery and when I specifically asked for him. Conveniently, now he's at lunch. This place is a joke!

This Lowe's had employees ignore me. I feel it is because I am female. They only have one employee working in the plumbing department and no other employees can help because it is not their department. I waited 20 minutes for someone to wait on me. When I was finally waited on the man told me they couldn't cut pipe after another employee told me they could. Only after I said fine I'll go to Home Depot did he change his tune. I'm not happy with the service

I bought a dishwasher and stove on line. I paid to have the old ones removed and was told the stove would be installed. When I called about the dishwasher being installed they said I had to have a plumber do that. Nothing was said about not removing the old one, since I paid for it. They did not remove the dishwasher; they did not install the stove. Said I didn't purchase a cord for that. They even said the old cord would work but just threw it on top of the stove and walked away. When I called Lowe's about it, they just refunded the $20 for not removing the old dishwasher.Worst service ever!!! On line ordering needs to be clear about what they will and will not do.

We bought a grill online. When reading the reviews for the grill, we noted most people talked about having to put it together. That's what we wanted...the grill in the box...so we could fit it in our jeep. So, we drove to the store to pick it up. Note that right there at the register, it says they can help you load merchandise into the car/truck. We told the associate we wanted it in the box. She looked shocked and said she wasn't sure if they had one still in a box but would ask and then told us it would take longer for them to bring it up to us. We were fine with that. So, when they brought the grill up to my husband who, by the way, is on crutches because he has a broken leg, they just put the dolly with the big box by him and walked away. We had to ask for assistance to get it loaded in the jeep. When we did, the associate said, "I will see what I can do." So, after standing around for a while, the very sweet older gentleman who works there and who brought the grill up for us on the dolly, said he would try to help. As we get out to the jeep, finally, another very nice man had come out to help. So, we got the grill. But it really felt like we were inconveniencing the lady behind the counter. I felt we had done something wrong. I just expected a, "Sure we can help." So, I wasn't very impressed with the customer service associate, but I was super impressed by the willingness of the older gentleman to help us. His name was Al & Al is awesome. It is not that she was blatantly rude but, rather, that she was seemingly put out and made the experience of picking up the grill, that had been bought for my husband for Father's Day, less than exciting. It was a blah experience. I don't expect major enthusiasm, but a smile and a genuine willingness to help would have been great.

Went to buy refrigerator and dishwasher during Memorial Weekend and it was packed! Jerry, the store manager, came over and spent a long time helping me find a refrigerator. It was incredible to see a store manager help customers out. He spent over an hour working with us! Then Lee, the salesperson stepped in and finished the order he as also so helpful and friendly! I highly recommend going to Lowe's in Forney! Great place!

Mostly helpful people. Yet, the last two times I've been there about mid-morning, you can't find anyone working the aisles. I wondered through that entire store from one end to the other trying to get some help to offload 10 sheets of paneling. Altogether, took at least an hour longer than I had to waste. They usually have what I need. I'm just really hoping they get their staffing together. I'll certainly go back, but I don't know for how long. There are plenty of other stores with similar products who may have a more attentive staff to help you not waste time.

I shop at this Lowe's in Forney often. I bought a ladder and spar urethane yesterday and some plants the previous day. Store is usually clean and organized and I am able to find things here that their competitor is always out of. I needed a plumbing part today and John was very helpful. Home Depot is closer to me but, of course , they didn't have any in stock. It is great having a Lowes nearby when it is necessary to find a replacement part.

By far my one stop shop for everything. Yes it may be pricey at time but everyone here is amazing. Specially there flooring department managers Kory and Deon. My wife had plans to redo our homes flooring with new carpet and vinyl. We searched for the right type but obviously they don't carry every type in their store. We found the Stainmaster brand which I would like to say there advertisement with their samples displayed sure is not accurate with the 72 hour delivery for the carpet. The person who checked us out was not informed about the time frame and we were expecting the installation to be done by that time frame. Long story short, Deon stepped in and made a great deal of above and beyond to make sure we had everything corrected and that we come out of the situations satisfied. Kory backed Deon decision to make sure all mistakes were corrected. By far my favorite people to deal with at Lowes. Deon specially keeps in touch with the contractors to make sure they do as needed to make sure there's no new errors.

Horrible management. Friday 630 pm. 4 employees and they have a don't care attitude. No one to check out people. No one to help people. Screamed for help and no one responded. Don't waste your time and money at this store. Go to Home Depot in Terrell. Worth the drive. Was ready to spend 500 or 600 to finish remodeling bathroom and no one in plumbing, lighting or tools. Left basket at cashier area half full of stuff I could find while Long line of people waiting on one cashier. Needs new management ASAP'

We LOVE this store! We actually live closer to the Rockwall store but drive a little further because of the customer service at this store! We replaced our washer and dryer in June...refrigerator in July and microwave in Sept. Our salesperson was so kind and helpful... the delivery guys and techs are friendly and were very professional!! Thank you Lowe's for the best customer service in the DFW area!!!

If you're a woman and you want to disappear, GO TO LOWE'S! I've been there 3 times looking for a certain tool. Today, I asked that someone be paged to help me. When the guy came over, he WALKED BY ME AND WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO help a man. I WAS INVISIBLE.

Poor service AGAIN at lawn and garden in Forney, Texas. I went to register to buy mulch and top soil (16 bags). The male worker and female cashier were playing around. I made the purchase and told them that I would go get my truck. I did and nobody came out to load the bags. It was 100 degrees and I've had a heart problem. I loaded the bags, then went back to register to see if anyone wanted to count them. The male worker hesitated, then headed outside. I got tired of waiting. By the time he got outside I was already in my truck and I left. Bags weren't counted.

Excellent customer service. I have purchased many things here but had an issue with my trimmer. I hadn't purchased a protection plan so I had to go through the manufacture which was awful and blamed the oil and gas mixture (the oil came in the box...). After that experience Lowes ended up taking care of it and I'll make sure to buy their plan instead of dealing with manufactures which would rather make up excuses.

Purchased a washing machine the other night. It was a returned item but I was assured there was nothing wrong with it other than the scratch and scuff on the front. I purchased this machine because I needed a machine that night and this was the only one in that color readily available in that particular model. My husband and I took it home in the minivan because they couldn't deliver for two days. We got it home and installed it and the control panel had a short. I even had my father, an electrician, take a look at the machine. The panel didn't work properly, sometimes not at all, and the controls would go crazy. I went back in the next day to ask if Lowe's could send a repairman out so I didn't have to return the item and I was told I had to call Samsung and get the warranty repairs done myself. Lowe's wouldn't do anything to help me out. I had only 30-days from purchase to do so. I called Samsung immediately but they were too busy with a recall to deal with me. I loaded the heavy washing machine back into the minivan and returned it. I spoke to the manager to see if they'd be willing to work with me on a new machine because they had assured me there was nothing wrong with this one. I was told they could give me a loaner and request a repairman go out and look at the machine, but I would have to repurchase the defective item, take it back home, take the loaner home (no help was offered in transportation) and then it could take anywhere from 3-days to 2-months for me to be contacted about the repairs. I asked if I wouldn't be reliable for any service charge or repair charge because that would make me unhappy. I was told "no" but that he, the manager, could not guarantee I wouldn't be charged. (Huh?) I'm not going to re-buy a defective item if it could take 2-months for it to be repaired and there is no 100% guarantee I won't be charged for repairs of a defective item. The manager would not work with me on replacing the item even. I would have even been happy with a bit of a discount on a new unit, even if not an even exchange. When I told the manager I did not feel comfortable about repurchasing a defective item if he was not going to stand behind his merchandise and I would be purchasing somewhere else, I was told "sorry" with a 'screw you, your business doesn't mean anything to us' attitude. I was very taken back by the customer service of this store. I'll be taking my business elsewhere for appliances from now on.
