Got the $20 Ruben expecting it to be the best one I had ever had, however it was mediocre at best. The service was great, but the sandwich was definitely not worth the money. The amount of meat was acceptable but it hardly had and sauerkraut or sauce.

I'm a foodie snob and I've been trying fried chicken sandwiches all over the place and the Lincoln Park is absolutely my favorite one out of every one I've had anywhere. Nobody else even comes close. Carry out or eat at the seating in the Market Hall.

I got the pastrami reubin it tasted ok, but the sandwich was so small for 20.00. It was a complete rip off. I will not visit or recommend this establishment to anyone. I wish I could post a picture of my sandwich. Lox, Stock, and Brisket you need to do better!

Love this place best breakfast sandwich around. It’s takes five minutes to prepare but worth every minute of it. I love the Constanta on a bagel as the bagel is grilled to perfection. The sausage is their own blend of spices that gives it a special taste. Always friendly and some times you wait but you will not be disappointed

I rarely walk away from a restaurant thinking "WOW, I have to return!", but Lox, Stock, and Brisket has won me over. Great customer service, great sandwiches, and a great low-key atmosphere for dine-in, but they seem well set up (and popular) for takeout too. Try the #3 "Lincoln Park" – it might be the best sandwich in Cleveland.

I cannot believe enshitification has come to this place too. It's like private equity came and bought this joint, jacked up the prices, made the food worse, and it will soon be done. I've been to the old location many times and this one. I probably hadn't had it in more than six months came in today and it was brutal. I've always got The Roz. Now the turkey is sliced lunchmeat and it's half the size. What a sell out. If you want to jack the prices, fine. But for that nonsense? It's like the MELT business model without the expansion. Just a worse product, and judging from recent reviews, I'm not alone. Never again.

Wow how can one place have so many hits. Their brisket is mouth watering, sells out on some days so go early. Their chicken sandwich is next level, and don’t get me started in their turkey club. I’m obsessed. Going again today. 😋

Wasn’t super impressed with this place. I had high hopes but we waited a long time for 2 bagels and no one else was there. Pretty overpriced for decent bagels. I got extra bacon and they were really generous with that, though.

Food is always hot delicious and fresh made to order, always solid! Can't wait to try the breakfast.

I'm done with this place. Sunday morning, 30+ minutes to get my order and the kicker was two (breakfast bowls) of the four items ordered, waited on the counter for over 25 minutes for the two sandwiches (AND they came out ten minutes apart). This was the third strike for me against Lox Stock and Brisket. The first two strikes were; a few weeks ago they failed to bag one of my sandwiches and did not believe me, twice ordering bagels and receiving a barely visible amount of cream cheese both times after asking them to make sure they put a reasonable amount on it. I explained my frustration with the ridiculous timing and lukewarm items at best and the cook told me to take my food, "it's here". As one final parting shot, they ran out of "20lb bags" and didn't have a bag for the order. Their suggestion was that I take one from Banter.

As usual every bite was perfection at Chef Anthony Zappola's Lox, Stock & Brisket located in the Van Aken Market Hall! Highly recommend the #2 Lincoln Park Buttermilk Chicken Schnitzel with Aioli, Lettuce & Pickles with a side of Slaw! Fast and friendly service with great recommendations! Ordered a Reuben for 20.00. Compared to other places the sandwich was small. Only one person behind the counter who appeared to do everything made to order. Wait time wasn't long. The location was good for everyone whether working or shopping. Nice place.

Pretty disappointed. First off, I told them multiple times no tomatoes because I'm allergic....even the receptionist thanked me for reminding her..... and my sandwich had tomatoes on it. Also, watching the prep....the gentleman who is making sandwich, put gloves on, which is a good thing. Then proceeded to fiddle around with shipping boxes, which were certainly not sanitary, opening them up to retrieve the bread. Never changing his gloves and proceeded to make my sandwich. Pretty unappetizing. So, all in all .....it doesn't seem like they take food prep seriously and don't listen to requests. That's $20 and I'll never see again....won't be back....

I lived in NYC, and am Jewish - and a NY pastrami - THIS AIN'T! I would have accepted average, but this SUCKS. It had a funky taste and was full of fat. My dinner partner, is Jewish and from NYC. I ordered "The Upper East Side" and my partner ordered a plain pastrami. We both hated it. All in the garbage. YUCK! Pick another place in the mall and hope that this place goes out of business and is replaced by something good.

Lox stock and brisket is SO good. The food came out very hot, but we did have to wait a while. Still well worth the wait, and it's nice to be able to walk around in the building.

Their no. 6, lox and bagel, with pickled onion and cucumber was the perfect blend of tastes. It's hard to find good gravlax. (Vs smoked salmon.) Delish!

We come here a it, in fact we're here now. Ordered a sandwich and potatoes salad. The sandwich was pretty good, very over priced though, the potato salad? Very very bland. It needs salt, which they do not have. Actually, come to find out they have a salt and pepper mix in the back that they don't want to share! So, I'll go elsewhere from now on and if your business fails, it might be from the very unfriendly guy working in the back. The guy on the register was very nice by the way!

Don't come here unless you have an hour to blow. The service is slow and impolite. There's a lack of urgency and organization. He's always behind and over charges for an average sandwich.

I just ate what was the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever eaten in my entire life. I never eat pickles and I normally ask for them to be left off my sandwiches. I am so glad I forgot to ask them to hold the pickles because they were amazing. When a restaurant makes you love a food that you normally detest, that's when you know they are the real deal. Thanks for a great meal!

some places make a very skimpy BLT and this is not one of them. amazing sandwich, great portion, the breakfast bowl was great too but i'm just a BLT fiend so that was my main interest and i was not disappointed

Why did they get rid of their homemade smoked brisket on the Rueben? It was previously the best brisket in the city now it has standard deli corned beef... Would be 5 stars if they brought back their brisket.

NOT cheap, but worth it! I got the Upper Eastside, and it was so big that I could only eat half (the rest is coming to work with me tomorrow).

Ive been to Van Aken so many times and never paid any mind to Lox, Stock and Brisket, but I'm glad I stopped by to pick up lunch this time because it was SO good. The staff was so friendly and helped us make our choice by giving us recommendations. He also cut both sandwiches in half for us when he learned we were sharing, which was very nice. We ordered the two most popular sandwiches: the Reuben and the chicken sandwich. The Reuben wasn't mind blowing but it came with a lot of meat and the bread was perfectly toasted. Had good flavor when eaten with the pickle it came with. The chicken sandwich was DELICIOUS. soft bread, packed full of flavor, yummy pickles. Definitely a great choice if you're in the area or want to pick up a quick lunch! I will be back!

We had the chance to try out Lox, Stock and Brisket not too long ago and, I have to say, it was yet another great find in Van Aken Market Hall. We got the Upper East Side and the Lincoln Park sandwiches. If you like Brisket, the Upper East Side is for you - generous portions of melty beef complemented by a tangy mustard. But the real star was the Lincoln Park sandwich. The crispy chicken schnitzel was so much better than the average fried chicken. This was true comfort food balanced with a nice slaw. I only wish the prices were lower or that these sandwiches came with a side. $15 for a modestly sized sandwich was a bit much. Nevertheless, I have every intention of coming back and trying all their other sandwiches hopefully in the near future.

Wow, could you spare the cream cheese and red onions? I certainly don't mind paying for a good sandwich but this one was not it.

Look...I needed a lox bagel desperately on a Sunday. Cleveland Bagel (which is MUCH closer to me) was sold out. So I went on Yelp and ended up here. I TRAVELED for this bagel, okay. Have never been in the area so that was great. The bagel...was meh. The bagel was thin and average, the schmear felt non-existent but at least the lox wasn't bad. Just for reference, I wasn't neccesarily looking for Cleveland Bagel-level amount of schmear or even close to that amount...but I wanted more than the delicate spread. Overall, it wasn't bad but there are better in the area.

This restaurant is located in a food hall. The ambiance was pleasant. The brisket was delicious, and the sandwich overall was tasty. I also appreciated the fast service!

Meh, not what I expected. It was not traditional melt in your mouth brisket. More like a processed corned beef.

Van Aken Market Hall has so many great places to eat and this is one of my favorites! Small stand cranking out great sandwiches for a great price. The Lincoln Park was awesome, the roll was soft and perfectly held the tangy and spicy hot sauce aioli, crunchy and sweet bread and butter pickles, and fresh slaw which paired amazingly with the buttermilk chicken schnitzel which was so crispy, crunchy, and juicy. The sandwich was super hot and wrapped very well in paper, they were also very generous with the aioli which I appreciate. Love the look of the place, everyone was super nice, and you can tell that they put time and effort into making good food.

Came here for a trip from California. The food in Cleveland is disgusting. Except for this sandwich spot. So I ate here 3 days in a row. Maybe it will be disgusting if I eat it 5 days in a row. But so far dem sandwiches are hella good.

Lox, Stock and Brisket is now at Van Aken Market Hall and I could not be happier for them. It's no secret how much I love this business. If you know me, you know I am always quick to recommend this local business (and anything by local Chef Anthony Zappola). I love their new location inside the Van Aken Market Hall, because it gives you ample opportunity to explore other small businesses while you wait for your food. Literally, if I am anywhere near the Market Hall, I'll probably try to a find way to convince you to come here with me. The brisket here is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and their creative takes on sandwiches are so crave-worthy. My favorite sandwich is the #1 Upper East Side, made with smoked brisket, cucumbers, dill, mustard and rye. It hits the spot every time with a side of matzo ball soup (the size is generous for a side). If you're craving breakfast, they have excellent breakfast sandwiches. Any of them are delicious, but I'll always opt for the Ridge Lane, made with lox, cream cheese and cucumbers on a bagel. The staff is so friendly here and are always happy to chat about the menu, and if you catch Chef Anthony, you can always see him working so hard to make sure every single item that leaves his kitchen is perfection. The quality is always consistent, the food is amazing, and you just can't beat the experience! Give them a try!

Love Lox, Stock, and Brisket! Located in the Van Aken District, a chic boutique mall with plenty of options, seating, and outdoor space. The food here is great, and I often find myself craving their brisket sandwiches. Cleveland has some of the best corned beef, and this place is up there with some of the best in the area for sandwiches!

Delicious breakfast sandwich with a rather dense chewy bagel sandwiching an omelet filled with brisket and cheese. It was dry and needed mayo but they gave me some which helped the sandwich flow better.

I kept hearing good things about this place so I was happy to have a day off so I could drive over to Cle Hts and eat me some good food. I came in right after the lunch crowd so it was pretty empty inside, but I'm cool with eating my food in peace. This also offered more attention from staff so I could ask them questions. Turns out the owner of Lox also owns The Rice Shop found inside Ohio City Galley. Also, this spot used to be Ribsticks BBQ which did not last long. So anyway, the food. I got the fried chicken sandwich (Lincoln Park $11) with a side of the potato salad. My sandwich was huge with coleslaw and a nice fried chicken breast. I immediately picked up on salt since I am sensitive to it, but not overwhelming so I could still enjoy my meal. Probably tastes just fine to those who consume salt normally. I really enjoyed the potato salad which was more like creamy cold mashed potatoes with chunks of potato mixed in. The pickle spear between bites of chicken was a great accompaniment. I took home the The Reuben $12 with the same potato salad side, but this time I added a side of their homemade dill sliced cucumbers. No picture of this meal because I ate it late at night and once I started I could not stop. All I kept thinking was buttery. Does that make sense? Like the meat was just a smooth delight to my mouth and adding the dill cucumbers to the sandwich just elevated things and the creamy potato salad... yum so good. My body hated me for stuffing myself, but it was worth it. They do have a small menu, which is fine if you don't visit often or enjoy eating the same thing all of the time. And they're not open after 4pm so this is more of a weekend visit kind of place for people who have day jobs. But I enjoyed my experience and I hope the owner brings some of his dishes at Lox to his spot in Ohio City. I'd also like to note that the owner is secure in what he is making and realizes that you're not going to please everyone. I think this is a good mindset to have. I'd definitely eat here again if given the opportunity and I would recommend. Food is tasty with good portion sizes at a reasonable price.

I absolutely love the Lincoln Park chicken schnitzel sandwich! I tried this place for the first time just a few weeks ago and I've already come back to have that sandwich again. All the flavors just melt together in your mouth - you must try it! The brisket was also good, but the chicken just blows it away. All of the sandwiches come with either coleslaw or potato salad, both of which are good but not amazing. I liked the potato salad but it needs something - I just cant figure out what. Everything is $11-$12 which seems really reasonable for what you get. Good quality food, good service, a nice atmosphere to enjoy it in, and easy parking out front. I've visited at prime lunch times and never had any issues finding parking or a table. I highly recommend this place for lunch or breakfast! (They are not open for dinner)

Came in on 5/27 and ordered the #2. The young man (long hair) behind the counter was obnoxiously rude (even thought I tipped 20% I wish I would've left him nothing) proceeded to scold my 12 year old sister for leaving the buzzer at the counter accidentally and proceeded to roll his eyes. Seriously disgusted with the service. Been here a couple times and haven't had bad service, this was the first time. Will also be the last time we frequent here and we frequent often.

We had the brisket sandwich, MB soup, and chicken Sandwich. They were all delicious. The staff was friendly, and the service was timely. Thanks for an amazing lunch!

They only sell bottles/cans soda and sparkling water, no fountain drinks. They have a large pitcher of water for free if you want it Both of us ordered the Lincoln Park, which is a fried chicken sandwich. It comes on a toasted bun with pickles, slaw and a special sauce. The sauce has a tang to it which is perfect with the sweet of the slaw. It also comes with a dill pickle and either potato salad or coleslaw on the side. We got the potato salad. It's delicious, but looks like mashed potatoes, so don't be fooled. It is cold and does have chunks, but it's also creamy like mashed. Would definitely recommend and return !!

Went there for breakfast. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese and lox, cream cheese was virtually non-existent. Tried ordering just a bagel with cream cheese; nope! they can't do that. We tried ordering water...they didn't have water (?????). If you're going to serve breakfast sandwiches, maybe sell drinks that go with breakfast? All they seemed to have was soft drinks. Mediocre sandwiches that were too expensive. I can't even believe this place didn't have water. Can you not sell water at 8am???

This is one of the many shops in the market garden right next to Brassica. It has breakfast and a lunch menu. We went at about 11 and the area inside of the market area was bustling with activity. There are several different shops including coffee and poutine, along with an array of indoor and outdoor seating with an adjacent parking lot. I got the lox breakfast sandwich and my roommate got the egg and sausage breakfast sandwich. I thought the lox sandwich was really great. It has fresh salmon with dill and cream cheese and I thought the flavors really went well together. It felt satisfying and filling without making me feel full and heavy. Overall, it was one of the better lox sandwiches I have eaten in Cleveland and would definitely get it again. They also have a whole lunch menu of different sandwiches that are worth trying!

The chicken schnitzel sandwich is fabulous! The staff is always super nice and the food is always fresh and hot! I want to try other sandwiches but it's so tough hah

This place was very accommodating. And the staff was extremely polite. I have eaten there twice and both times it was great, fresh and fast. We have eaten the Lincoln park, uptown, and the reuben. The Lincoln Park (#2) and their Reuben Brisket (#5) are their most popular items and delicious! The balance of flavors and texture have always been on point the handful of times I have visited -- not just with those 2 options but all the others too! Located at Van Aken, you'll order at the counter and they'll give you a pager. You can tour the rest of the eateries and shops in this mini market as you wait and it usually takes 8-15 minutes, depending on how busy it is. The service has always been super friendly and even with Covid, they have done a solid job keeping things sanitized. Keep supporting these local restaurants and thank you for doing all you can!

Brisket Ruben is the truth. If you like Ruben with corn beef and you like beef briskets then you are in for a very enjoyable experience.

No complaints for either the Rueben or the Lincoln Park, both sandwiches were very tasty and the flavors were balanced well within each sandwich the pickle added a clean taste to all the meat too!

Food quality wise, nothing bad to say. VERY good food! $17 for a sandwich is absolutely insane, I go to many restaurants where a full meal is $17, I understand good quality doesn't translate to cheap prices...however there is a point to which I would not go back to due to cost.... This is definitely one of those.

This is a gem in the Van Aken District. Starting with the patient friendly staff you are introduced to a unique deli experience. You have a variety of excellent alternatives and at a competitive price.

Yeah, you could say I love this place - and especially that fried chicken sandwich, named the best in the city (and for good reason). Chef Anthony Zappola makes everything with love, creativity, and high-quality ingredients, churning out small-batch products that keep customers like me coming back for the same thing over and over and over again. The pickles are made in house, too, slightly sweet and yellow from turmeric. They're the perfect complement to the salty, slightly spicy crunch of the chicken itself and... oh, boy, I can barely think about that sandwich without starting to drool and daydream a little. What I'm saying is that you should go eat this fried chicken sandwich - and if you don't like or want fried chicken, well, go eat anything Anthony makes. It's ALL good.

That chicken sandwich?! Oh my goodness. I've had it twice and now I can't look that way because I fear I'll turn into a chicken. Highly recommend. Friendly cashiers and kitchen staff.

We have been to this place many times and it keeps getting better and better. Reuben is fantastic, my son absolutely loves their chicken sandwich. We also ordered the Cole slaw and it was very good, still crunchy (but I would go a bit lighter on the mayo, but still very good)

My favorite here is the Boro breakfast sandwich. It's meaty, eggy, cheesy, and overflowing out of the bagel. Everything is flavored just right. The brisket is so tender. The staff are friendly, the food comes out hot and fresh. It's worth getting up early for this and good to pair with a cup of coffee from Rising Star. I just wish they can run breakfast all day so next time I can get both the Boro and the chicken schnitzel without having to make separate trips.

This is NOT your Bubbie's brisketeria! It's more of a hipster-meets-Hebrew take on deli food, with a dash of BBQ joint vibe for good measure. I didn't try the lox, the stock in the matzoh ball soup is for another day, but it has excellent brisket! I also L-O-V-E-D their takes on coleslaw and potato salad. They need to evolve their sides a bit more from the humble few. Maybe a nice knish, maybe, or a more culinarily out-there kugel? The dining room is simple and fun in that hipster-happy sort of way. Friendly enough, reeking of authenticity, with the odd table or two far enough away from the counter and door capable of sustaining the arms-length, deli-disdainful.. oh, we don't eat at DELIS, but we do eat HERE... Staff is very nice, and extremely helpful. Lot parking is a refreshing change from the usual struggle to find a landing spot for your four wheeled friends.

Planning to visit again when back in CLE! Was in the University Circle area during a brief visit to the city and ventured up Cedar hill for a quick lunch. The pics of the sandwiches looked good online so we decide to give it a try. I was a bit indecisive on selecting a sandwich but the person at the counter helped me select the #1 Upper East Side. Because it was my first time, they strongly suggested the brisket over the turkey. Look, I've finally kicked my CLE corned beef craving after moving out of state. Then, I discover this spot! The #1 had a mild pastrami taste but assembled like a classic corned beef sandwich. (Rye, pickles, mustard). The meat was served still steaming hot. The pickles were mild and I believe made onsite or at-least not mass produced. The mustard wasn't overpowering. The side selections were potato salad or coleslaw. The salad being just ok. But, I probably could have done without a side. I recommend a cream soda with this sandwich. Inside dinning is casual but plenty.

Wow. I want to find a roof and shout about how much I love Lox, Stock and Brisket! These guys are doing something right. We stopped in on a whim after months of saying that we should try this place. Let me tell you, I feel like I've missed out on months of yummy deli food because we waited! My husband and I ordered two sandwiches and split both of them. We tried one with coleslaw and the other with potato salad in an effort to try as many things as possible. The Ruben is probably the best Ruben I've ever had. It's filled with tender meat on delicious bread. And it's huge. We also tried the Lincoln Park, a fried chicken sandwich that comes with butter pickles and coleslaw. I really don't like pickles, so I was a little hesitant about this sandwich at first, but after having my first bite, I changed my mind quickly. I would have really missed those pickles if they weren't on the sandwich! The coleslaw and potato salad were both great as well. I loved that their potato salad is made with mashed and chunked potatoes. Delicious. Don't wait like we did to try this place! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!

I stopped in for a quick lunch while in the area and I am so happy I did. When you walk in you will notice 2 chalkboards; the breakfast menu on one and the lunch menu on the other (they also have printed menus if you need one). I ordered the Lincoln Park sandwich and it was ahhmazing. The chicken was juicy and crispy while the slaw, pickles, and hot sauce aioli complimented the sandwich. I chose the potato salad for my side, it was just ok. I got to try the upper east side with cured and smoked brisket and it too was very delicious. The ambiance was nice and casual, the food was amazing, and the staff here were very welcoming and nice. There were so many options I can't to visit again soon to try all the other selections on the menu.

For a while this was one of my favorite places for brisket sandwiches. Even though the sandwiches are smaller than the one from Joe's or Slyman's I thought they were better (and I love the other two places). Last few times I've been the quality has definitely slipped. My favorite is the Ruben and the one I just had was like 100% chewy slimy fat . Because I know how good this place can be and once was I'm not going to trash them with a 1 star rating but they definitely won't get a 5 (or any more of my business).
